heyo, so I just updated my gamma from the version from 2 years ago and I'm only getting 357 mods in Mod Organizer, I've done the updating process twice already

I hope this is right place to ask. I followed instructions to the dot ( atleast my opinion ).. After installing anomaly 1.5.1, i installed gamma. It did not work and after some googling someone said to update to 1.5.2 which i missed, now anomaly wont event start and gives error code on some shader. If i try to launch GAMMA it just closes itself automaticly same as anomaly

@unborn elbow I didn't read the announcement fully and assumed that you have to delete files that were replacing them while in fact you need to overwrite them. I deleted all of my resources. After unpacking them again from the GAMMA file I downloaded, it works okay.

wouldn't know whats missing lest we compared the modlists but even then it'd be best to just run a full install rather than just install it for aforementioned reasons

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

What about animations? Can I enable them?

DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST.
They are disabled for the same reasons written above.

Why do we have these mods in the mod list if we can't activate them?

Because G.A.M.M.A. is STILL IN BETA.
NO, Grok can't simply remove these mods. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.

If you really want to use stuff that is disabled by default, forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

Interesting error here when re-installing GAMMA -- the result is that all 444 mods show up, but are completely empty when following to the mod installation path from MO2's context menu. Have never encountered this issue before with GAMMA.

Like other users have posted, I'm getting the "[error]Description : Can't find include file:
[error]Arguments : aug_9mm_new_sounds.ltx" under the FATAL ERROR section in the log file.

Hello, i am having an issue with the FN FAL model displaying properly. When i ADS it's fine but drops down below the usual aiming position afterwards. no you cannot do it manually, it the launcher install process downloads lots of mods from moddb. Downloading them manually one by one would take ages and is not feasible. It literally needs to download hundreds of mods

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

I went through the entire install process yesterday following #🖥️how-to-install and it installed all 444 mods properly

Yep. Disabled AV and firewall and both folders are excluded. Console was showing all kinds of errors after clicking Install / Update like it did for the last launcher version.

There was one thing that was different. During install step 5 I got a second dialogue box from MO2. It was this one. Also there was no default profile when it opened. There was instead 2 profiles G.A.M.M.A. and G.A.M.M.A. Custom I think was the second one.

The Issue is, the Modpack has Newer, Updated Mods that aren't pushed over to the Profile and loaded, due to the Profile being out of date. I'm trying to figure out why the profile isn't updating. And no matter how many times I update the Addons via the Install/Update GAMMA Button, it literally tells me GAMMA Addon Status is out of date.

@signal kestrel Yep, The fix was to just delete the Downloads folder and as the moderator linked download the "download 10-30" mods and make sure to use 7 zip and untick the rename option and place it in your gamma folder then open gamma launcher then untick check md5 and force git download then install/update, then you are all done

I'm having an issue the past few days where my canted sights aren't working.

When I press the GL hotkey, no matter what I change the bind to, without an optic the gun just moves slightly closer in my FOV (like just bringing it closer to my face). With an ACOG equipped, it just removes the DOF from the scope view instead of canting the gun.
GL attachment works fine. Tested on NATO and WP rifles.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

MO2 loads all mods successfully (all 444) opens anomaly launcher, launcher recognises that some mods can conflict thus giving a written warning. Then the game tries to launch, theres a windows error sound and it crashes. MO2 gives no error codes or any faults when crash happens

Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.

When turning off your anti-virus and firewall it should look like this:

Updating the launcher to 6.6 helped me + updating mods

And just in case, I updated Anomaly to 1.5.3

A couple of questions for you:

1. Do you have exactly #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.6 is the newest)
3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?
