Nothing removed the effect yet in MCM. The only option that affected it is volumetric resolution, which the higher the setting the thinner the haze became, at max my first person model had a thin outline on it and looked blurry / out of focus. I also tested the settings in Shadow Cascades and Indirect Light. Disabling volumetric sun shadows in base anomaly settings removes this effect but thats a big reason why the game looks so good so thats out of the question.

just downloaded gamma for the 4th time in 2 days and still havnt been able to play it. ive installed it exactly as prompted yet every time i try to launch it, i see the anomaly splash screen and it immediatley closes with an error sound and goes away with no error message. ive been told to copy and paste the bin,gamedata, and appdata into the anomaly folder and it changed nothing. Any have issues starting the game after clicking the "play S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly" button and Mod Organizer has the little window pop-up that says "Mod organizer is lock" disappear as if the game has been closed? The game never launches and nothing happens outside of it, yet I do another modpack for S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly and that works just fine. I do not know what the issue could be as neither the default stalker gamma profile wont launch the game either.

3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

I don't know if this has been fixed yet in the latest updates, but my friend found a way to "bypass" it by launching Anomaly using the .exes

It only occured when my friend launched the game via the Anomaly Launcher, game worked fine when she launched it directly using the DX11-AVX.exe

We both still don't know what causes it other than launching the game via Anomaly Launcher tho

this engine is tad finnicky with how it handles w things like that and is limited, it can only handle sending audio to the device that is set as default from the moment the game begins so no switching mid-game if you're also doing that. If its not registering the thing you set as "default audio device" you might have to look that up... since we only mainly do problems w the game and not the device/I'm not smart enough to figure out how that ordeal works 😅

1. Collapse the categories in MO2, by sorting mods by Priority and close the categories by using the arrows on the left side (first picture for reference below).
2. Screenshot your MO2 by using Shift + Win + S.
