Hello, I have been crashing with "Shader compilation failed, please check your logs" error msg. On DX11 I could walk around in game for a bit before crashing, DX9 (following the bot commands) would just crash on the Anomaly splash screen

I've noticed that my screen gets a shadow overlay during nighttime, which only occurs in certain areas, as shown in my photo. The shadow can be black or affect specific areas. I found that this issue is related to my monitor's HDR and Local Dimming settings. When both settings are enabled and I'm playing the game in Borderless mode, the problem appears. However, when I switch to Fullscreen mode, the issue disappears.

Is there any workaround for this issue? I prefer to play in Borderless mode.

Once you have already unpacked them into the gamma and anomaly folders, and set the AV exclusion, you can re-enable antivirus including for any future updates

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Hey guys, can u help me with problem on game? Every time when i run a game i just have around 33fps, normaly i have 100-120fps. Only solving what i found is Install/ Update GAMMA thru Gamma lanucher everty time when i want to run a game.

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)

3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Hello everyone,
Having a small issue with the GAMMA launcher.
I'm at the very end of the installation, I have the 443 mods, and I can launch the "anomaly launcher 1.0.5" from the mod organizer.

The Issue: When trying to launch the "Play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly" from the launcher, the very last one before getting to the Stalker GAMMA Main Menu, the small window pops up (Stalker Anomaly, X64, X-Ray Engine) and it crashes.
(it makes a windows sound and that's it, no error messages or anything)

I can't use the PDA, becouse both the "Map", and the "PDA" buttons bring up a totally black screen. The device itself is visible, but no tabs, or anything. It pretty much brakes the game.

• Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
• Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

If the above steps still do not solve your issue, then verify your hosts file by going to #🤖bot-commands and typing !hosts. If that still does not work then connect to a VPN and try again.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.

3. Copy and paste the following command:

git config --global --add safe.directory '*'
and press Enter.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

Ero riuscito a inserire la traduzione in italiano attraverso MO2, però, per quanto sia utile per praticamente tutti i dialoghi, causa problemi con gli oggetti, soprattutto medicinali e cose del genere. All'inizio pensavo andasse tutto bene, ma andando avanti vedevo che mi mancavano alcune cose importanti per le meccaniche del gioco. Questo perché alcune traduzioni coincidevano con gli oggetti sbagliati, esempio: l'ibuprofene era tradotto come aquatab e aveva descrizione ed effetti sbagliati, così come altri oggetti. Siccome rendeva tutto molto complicato e soprattutto mi impediva di godermi il gioco, alla fine ho optato a per giocare in inglese e via. Si mi rompe un po' le palle perché sarebbe stato bello giocare in italiano, renderebbe tutto più immediato, ma purtroppo come già ti ho spiegato: da una parte ti facilità la lettura dei dialoghi, dall'altra rende difficile lo scorrimento del gameplay.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

Although I can say with certainty I have maybe one or two of my soundtracks that are protected under copyright, the vast majority of the tracks in game are externally picked by grok or others and they usually are always copyrighted

The safest bet is to just play without the music, although it’s a very interesting matter to look into, to clump copyrighted tracks all together and have free use tracks in a separate addon

Now the issue is the following : fair use for music is heavily dependent on whether it was made for a media, like film, a game, or other.

Most of the third party soundtracks present in GAMMA are plucked from independent artists’ personal works, so not made for anything except for the sake of releasing it. Other tracks, like the Darkwood themes or TWOM OST, have fair use clauses, but are usually only applicable when it is used INSIDE of the media it was made for

It might be passable to keep the second case soundtracks in the game, to be tested though
