yeah 95% of the time it isn't useful, but if you ever see stuff in the "corrupt files" popup that isn't the stuff the modded exes replace, then you know it's time to reinstall anomaly

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

  • In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
  • If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

@ember linden If you are failing to download all the mods and still don't have #📍577-mods-in-mo2, then ensure you are doing the mandatory steps below:

  • Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
  • Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
  • Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

If the above steps still do not solve your issue, then verify your hosts file by going to #🤖bot-commands and typing !hosts. If that still does not work then connect to a VPN and try again.

If none of that works, then make sure your game is installed at the root of whatever drive you are using, e.g.: C:\Gamma, D:\Gamma - notice that there are no periods between the letters...

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.

Oh yea without a doubt, I can even hear the music in Rostok finally too!
It was annoying because it was very desimilar to as if we had ran out of audio channels and things were being put on a back log to be played.

Hello. I installed GAMMA from this Discord and after entering the game, running for literally a minute in the game, I don't know, talking to someone, anything, I get a black screen with a screaming graphics card as if it had gone into full gear, the only thing I can do then is to restart the computer. I tried various methods from other forums, typing some commands in the console, deleting caches, even deleting files with shadows. It doesn't help because after a while the same thing happens. I'm writing to the source because that's where I downloaded this game from and I don't want to delete it because the problem is probably some kind of asshole. @green mortar G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Well, it supposedly works on DX 9. On DX 10, there is a black screen immediately after the loading screen. On 11, a black screen appears after a few minutes. Maybe you know what the problem is, to run this game on DX 11 or is it not possible in my case?

I tried updating the launcher and gamma. At first I was able to load my game, but all my graphics settings and keybinds were reset. My computer hard crashed while transitioning from Rostok to Army Warehouses. Now the game won't launch at all, "decription : dest string less than needed"

@brave mist If you are failing to download all the mods and still don't have #📍577-mods-in-mo2, then ensure you are doing the mandatory steps below:

  • Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
  • Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;

In order to uninstall GAMMA from your computer, delete your Anomaly folder and your GAMMA folder.
If you want to backup your save files, go in #🤖bot-commands and type !save.

@karmic lagoon "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions. Common signs include:

  • Broken health HUD (all red)
  • Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
  • Crashing on area transition
  • Can't open inventory
    If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work any more, you'll be in permanent busyhands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #╭📖faq message

Hello, guys. I have 2 problems

Hey guys it's me again same problems,

  1. Ai spawns are fucked my factions traders don't spawn, nothing spawns in the zone I start a game into, and hundreds of mutants spawn in the zones near me

I have done the basic stuff to try an fix it

  1. Made sure only 443 mods enabled
  2. Replaced the anomaly files with files from another updated and untouched backup anomaly folder i made
  3. Made sure my addons are updated and not missing files using the automated downloader
  4. Installed it the correct way as the guide said too

  1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
  2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
  3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
  4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
  5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
  6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

Hi guys, when I start shooting some npcs after couple sec, game not responding and lag forever, anybody know what cause this, in mod manager 443 mod, I enabled mod which called "turn this on if you stutter" but it don't help my, i try to run game with avx on by default and turn off it, try to lower shadow map (but i dont think problem is shadow map i have rtx 3070), and also disable cpu core 0, but sadly nothing from i described don't help me, maybe someone know how to fix this ?

I just did a fresh install of GAMMA and when I start a game and spawn in the rookie village, I can walk around for about 5 seconds, then the game goes black and I get a shader compilation error. To save some time with the usual questioning, I use dx11, I have 443 mods, i do NOT have the 6.2 launcher (at least it says 6.0.0.0 in the launcher and following the steps in #💽how-to-update does not update it), and I tried the fix that helped someone where I manually redownload ScreenSpaceShaders_Updatex.x.zip... unfortunately it did not work for me

Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:

Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata

3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

  • In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
  • If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Alright guys, there's 2 issues I need help with:

First is simple, I need to know what .ltx the healing items are found in, I wanna change the price of just ibuprofen as I feel it's just way too much.

Second, the enemies seem to... teleport around? For the most part they do run fine but occasionally it's like their animations break and they just start like teleporting or MJ sliding everywhere.

That's strange, I'm assuming D:/a is your anomaly folder, but I don't see a "xray-monolith" folder in my install though that is the game engine. Check to make sure that folder exists in the first place.

By "Target:" you should see "YourMOLocation" "moshortcut://:Anomaly Launcher". At the end of the Target: line append just "--fullscreen" without "". then launch the shortcut as admin.

1) Go to this folder: [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches
2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

  1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
  2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs
  3. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.
