Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

  • Re-plug in your headphones or speakers before you start the game (Also try different ports)
  • Play any kind of music or sound file as you open the game, e.g. music on your PC or on Youtube
  • Change your audio device in Windows
  • Enable Instant Replay in Shadowplay, apparently?

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.
Default values are as follows:
FOV: 80
HUD FOV: 0.65

Good evening! I came back there after setting up my Gamma and Gamma sounds to be just fine (I started the game as a Freedomer). One of helpers mentioned that it isn't recommended to disable mods in modpack, but there are some features that I simply didn't like. There isn't a way to turn it off, isn't it? And another question: there is that new mod named Levels with new locations - is it also included? If not, can it be added or is it safer to just do Anomaly with mods on my own?

@random oriole Hey there, I've also had the same exact issue with microstutters only when moving the mouse and I'm not sure if you ever found the solution but what worked for me, and I can't believe I didn't remember this fix considering it's a problem with some games, is to reduce the polling rate of your mouse if you are able to.

My mouse default rate is 1000 but reducing it to 500 eliminated the stutters for me when trying every other solution hadn't worked; i.e: (stutter mod, avx and no avx, reduce graphics, try a different direct x, etc.)

Ok so basically my screen past my hands and gun will just go fuzzy for a minute. I will just be walking around and typically it happens after an effect ends or begins like bleeding or drinking alcohol but it does this and stays like this for a minute or two and I don't know if its something I can fix or something that is just happening in the game. So ive played gamma for a long time but took a very long hiatus for like 4 months or more. I updated gamma and now it wont launch, ive tried normal entry level fixes but have never really had many issues with gamma of all the times ive used it. Heres my error code if anyone knows what its specifically referring to. Dont see why an old version of animations would be trying to use after updating

  3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
  4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
  5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
  6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

  • In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.
  • If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Are Red dots and holographic sight supposed to be this bloomed with Nightvision? It seems to only be with certain sights a couple holo sights seem to work perfectly but this one and one of the red dots are really bad. I havent messed with any settings or mods

didint helped, im afraid it could be something written in saved data that prevents from workin, i tested with multiple saves and on some works and some doesnt. It worked on first save only and after daddy save stopped working. I though it is related to saving method so i loaded up where climb ledge worked and tried to daddy save again, after save i reloaded the save and it didint impact anything.

So ive played gamma for a long time but took a very long hiatus for like 4 months or more. I updated gamma and now it wont launch, ive tried normal entry level fixes but have never really had many issues with gamma of all the times ive used it. 1 It wasnt at first but I changed it to 443 and still did the same thing. Its never had a problem before. Both anomaly and gamma are installed into my anomaly folder. 2) Yes it is the updated launcher 3) I found 2 Steyr Scout and hideout furniture, thought when u updated gamma it reset ur mod loadout. Unclicked those and got it back to 443 and still same thing

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

  • In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.
  • If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

  1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
  2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
  3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)
  • Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.
  1. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.
  2. You might have to repeat these steps for the next 2 git folders, aka:

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.

Greetings, I just installed Anomaly and Gamma, but when running from mo2 via the gamma launcher, I don't get the Gamma Splashscreen, just the Anomaly one. at first I had 0 mods enabled, then I enabled all. But when enabling all mods, I have a whopping 546 mods active, not 443 mods how its written in the channel here. Has anyone else had this issue?

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

  1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
  2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
  3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
  4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
  5. Uncheck/Disable:
  • Check MD5
  • Force git download
  1. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

@zinc zodiac To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

@ocean forum G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

Sup Gents and Ladies. About FPS-Optimization topic. I was struggling with fps drops, but it turns out my Laptop required basic dust cleaning change of thermal paste and I bought myself Cooling Pad for laptop. Now no laptops Temps are all ok and Gamma runs smoothly on 60 fps. So if someone have problems like drops from 60 to 30 fps. Check your temps. Your hardware can be throthling!
