If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and launch git-bash.exe
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

• Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.
5. You might have to do this for the 3 git folders, aka:

Having trouble with going to army warehouses. Going there crashes the game, lags out my entire system and i dont get any errors displayed

So Im having an issue where the disassembly feature stops working in my saves practically all the time. It does start working again when I load an earlier save, but its making it pretty hard to get anything done because I constantly need to load back. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Some weapon sights are extremely bright with NVGs on, making them impossible to use. Any fix for this? I tried deleting the shader cache the proper way.

I thought I was crazy but the more I look around for an answer in the Discord the more questions about this I see, but nobody really has an answer. You'll find if you quicksave and quickload it will 'start' the enviromental SFX (rain, wind, fire ember crackle, etc, pda radios) for a second and then load the game just to be silent once again. I definitely feel something's messing with the way sounds are input ingame and it's not affecting everyone. Did you ever find an answer?

At first it broke my saves, so copying fsgame.ltx and alsoft.ini with soft_oal.dll from bin does not helped at all, as it was before and always worked, also i did verification and it says that all .exe files was corrupted too, so i replaced them from anomaly archive, after that it have no errors but game won't start at all, i tried to update gamma through launcher but it also don't work and giving me this:

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.

3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and launch git-bash.exe
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

No, you started a Soulslike save, and now it'll break if you disable the one mod even making it a real game mode

Also as Dry said, you disabled the Soulslike mod while running a Soulslike game. So your the data in your save file is looking for info that is nolonger avaliable and crashing

Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

Hi all! just wanted to share a something I learned, in case anyone else comes across the same problem that I did, since I didn't see anyone pointing this out.
If you still have the Shader compilation failed. Check your log file for additional information. error after trying this and deleting the Anomaly\AppData\shaders_cache folder, I would suggest looking at your mod profile. I just found out that my slightly customized profile (I leave the original GAMMA profile at default settings so I could reference it if my own config breaks something) still referenced the outdated ScreenSpaceShaders_Update18.zip instead of the current ScreenSpaceShaders_Update20_2.zip. Make sure that your custom profile references the same version that the default GAMMA profile has active!

so e.g. if it's only on opening dead stalkers' inventories: either somethign to do with npc loadouts (e.g. loadout changes, new gun mods, allowing npcs to loot dead bodies) or the actual items inside (see above re: new items)

and by "it's those mods causing the issue" i mean "then you go and try and manually reinstall them"

I made a quicksave just seconds before this crash because I was expecting it

I am pretty sure it's something to do with collision + dead bodies

Same crash can happen when I am just moving a dead body in the aftermath of a big fight

2. in game, go to mod config menu -> FDDA -> enable whatever
3. I think there's some overwrite shit at play so you may have to manually drag the FDDA mod all the way to like. the end of your modlist. this will also give you the extra long cigarette anim.

and 4. after you do this, support qs go to #🔨modded-gamma-support

• every time you run the GAMMA launcher it will reset your modlist, which would disable any custom mods you enabled

G.A.M.M.A. Burer Fix . MO2 Boomer question, how can I sort and minimise the rest by priority? the arrows on the left side are missing. That's the best I can do

in MO2, find the mod 192- Cr3pis Iconpack Helmet Less Armors - Cr3pis Right click -> Reinstall.

Go through the installer. Pick these options when you're asked:

• Helmet-less Outfits
• Vanilla Models
• Add-ons Patches:
  • Streamlined Upgrades Patch
  • Coffee Patch
  • Guns Replacers Patch
  • None (for Milspec PDA)
  • MP7 Replacer Patch
    Click "Replace" when you're asked. AND THEN:
    Find the mod G.A.M.M.A. Armors no integrated helmet. Right click -> Open in Explorer. Navigate to gamedata/configs, then download the attached file and overwrite the old version of that file.
    Run the game

When I download stalker anomaly from the link in discord, it downloads. When I open my downloads file thingy, it shows anomaly as, Anomaly-1.5.1.2. It doesn't show the .7z in that window but when I open 7z2404 or whatever it's called, it shows the .7z. Is that normal or did i mess up? Thanks

Hello, who had a problem with the "Lost Knowledge" list of scientists? There is no hiding place mark on the map

So out of curiosity, I've been having the same issues a handful of others have been having -- that my environmental sounds (rain, wind, pda radio, etc) aren't working. Upon quicksaving/quickloading you'll hear a small snippet and then when it loads in it's blank again. It's started randomly and I've already asked about it here before. I've tried everything from checking/reinstalling Soundscape, using Prefetch sounds, sound workaround, checking my sliders, volume settings, hardware settings etc. I've even done a complete reinstall of Gamma and the issue still persists for some reason. I've switched savegames and it's the exact same issue. The fix to 'get them working' is completely random. Sometimes it's looting, sometimes it's level transitions, and so forth. I have on idea what it could be. There are no sound mod conflicts whatsoever in the Organizer

Is it possible that this has to do with the Anomaly soundfiles and how Gamma uses them? I'm out of guesses after a complete reinstall did not fix my issues 😦. Also base Gamma/no extra mods.

I haven't tried custom PDA sounds or any other sound mod, but my PDA itself has sound. There are a couple of things like guns, running, voice lines, gunfights, mutants etc that actually have sound. It's mostly environmental wind, grass, rain and for some odd reason PDA radio (and also faction radios) that are sounds that aren't working. I know Solarint's Soundscape Overhaul conflicts with a lot of mods, but Grok made this modpack to ensure that there would be no issue with overwrites. Ever since I updated to the new Christmas update I've had this ad hoc, but the last few days it's been nearly permanent.

It sucks cause I just want to enjoy some raindrops and have my fucking sound back, it almost makes it unplayable as Gamma's all about the atmosphere, of which half is missing at the moment

I'm thinking the conflict/lack of environmental sounds may have something to do with mod 304 (Dark Signal Weather and Ambiance Audio) since it's the only other file in the game that 'changes' ambient files, but I fail to see how it would just kill rather than work properly

@keen cedar I know you've been helping @north turret with this bug as well - or rather, you made a thread for him in #1092834455300866068 detailing his findings. I've fixed it and I've found out that this 'environmental sounds missing' bug (with radio, exo servos sounds, whatnot) is 100% caused by either 1) alt-tabbing during a loading screen (which I was prone to doing) which for some reason stunts/kills most of the scripts pertaining to sound or 2) something messing up in the loading screen when it comes to loading these sound files. In the case of every player reporting this bug I'd suggest asking whether they alt-tab on a prominent basis as a first question.

This has been driving me wild but I can finally enjoy the rain again

Like i do not know what else to tell you folks, ive reinstalled Gamma and Anomaly Multiple times, they are installed in the correct directories, i have the correct exclusions set, i don't have anything enabled that is KNOWN to cause issues, im literally running Gamma on the default 444 mods and 100% default settings and it's still crashing prefusely and randomly anytime i loot, Shoot, Move, Zone Transition, open the PDA, Use any items be it meds food nades ect, pulling out my detector, taking damage every single possible action you can perform ingame has crashed my game, and all the error windows ive seen have been related to what shows up in the busy hands section, is there no way to eradicate this bug or what cause it's quite frankly making me very clsoe to decided to say F Gamma in its entirety because holy heck im not dealing with the headache anymore this is gammas last chance before i say enough is enough.

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder

5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

• Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

1. Download the mod from #🔨base-gamma-support message
2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
