Thanks, but I have tried all of these. I've battled stutters before but this is different, like I said it's something more like a frame skip. Stutters don't bother me, this is driving me mad. Not a clue if you know this but reshade isn't installed by default anymore. So the home key does nothing unless you manually install it.

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

I just updated and I'm getting a weird bug with zooming in with the side mount red dot for Shackal AK-105. When I use the sight it zooms in super close. If I spam the right mouse it will occasionally go back to the way it normally did but will reset back to super zoomed in when I stop looking down the sight. Alright I'll do that. Earlier, I unticked the rest since the launcher said that I should only untick "Check MD5" if my game's working fine and just want to update. Then in the announce tab, it says to untick 'force zip extraction' if just want the hotfix'. Then I unticked delete reshade dll's since well I was using reshade when I play.

If you had Arrival, it needs you to disable DAO

5. Uncheck/Disable:

Hey guys, does anybody know what exactly these three settings are responsible for (detail bump, steep parallax and tessellation)? I'm asking because as far as I know games usually pick either to use POM or tessellation as they can achieve very similar results. And as for the bump mapping, normal maps are standard practice to use for pretty much any detailed texture so again, really not sure what this toggle does in Anomaly.

I'm trying to squeeze more performance out of this game but at points struggle to keep it above 60. Which is kind of annoying and I thought hey, maybe I don't need all these at once. But I would like someone knowledgeable in X-Ray to tell me what these actually do and whether they conflict with each other at all.

P.S. I'm fine on the GPU side, it is idling most of the time at around 40%. I run a 3070. But due to single-core nature of X-Ray I struggle on the CPU side. My Ryzen 5600X seems to not be enough >_<

How to change fast travel settings (cost, time passing, etc.):
When in game, go to Mod Configuration Menu -> Fair Fast Travel and tweak settings there. By default, fast travel costs money and causes hunger/thirst to rise while guided fast travel allows you to travel while overencumbered, and does not cause hunger/thirst to rise.

P.S.: with debug mode enabled, you can teleport to stashes, level transitions and other map spots by right clicking on them when you check the map on your PDA. You will have to enable Travel to map debug spots in Fair Fast Travel's settings first. This can be deadly, use with caution.

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

at any point did you tell them to "wait here" and then did you leave the map

because if you did... chances are slim

if they are still on "follow me" mode you can try transitioning areas/going to sleep, that may teleport them back to you

i went to the miracle machine and they were set to follow the entire time but only 2 of them actually went out of the facility after i teleported

there's no npc pathing in any of the labs/underground areas, that's why, they get stuck

pray they magically ping back to you next time you transition maps/go to sleep - there isn't really another way

anomaly is really not set up for having permanent companions, like at all, it's buggy as fuck even on a good day

only workaround i know for that one is:

• Disable 245- Hideout Furniture + Hideout Furnitures 2.2.1 GAMMA Patch
• Enable Hideout Furnitures 1.2.0, it's in the "GAMMA Disabled" category
• load your save, pick up every piece of hideout furniture you placed
• make a new save, quit the game
• Re-enable 245- Hideout Furniture and the Hideout Furnitures 2.2.1 GAMMA Patch
• Re-disable HF 1.2.0
• Play the new save

After relaunching, the game looks like this - doesn't matter if loaded game or new game. I've tried to reset graphics settings, to delete the shader cache, reset everything - with no effect. yeah so one of those guys is a technician. and if you kill a technician the game just crashes sometimes. there's no fix, you just reload until the game submits and doesn't crash

Nope - the mod is installed and enabled, the game runs like butter, no crashes, but everything stays blurred. In new game too. One interesting detail - in Settings > Visual > Advanced, the Depth of Field option under Effects CANNOT be turned off. The setting is always on. Well, maybe it is time for new installation 😄
