Hey guys I need help with a bug, for some reason randomly this pseudo god mode keeps turning on. My ammo count and icons disappears and my minimap also I have unlimited carry weight and cant die. Traveling through a zone resets it or reloading a save does to (sometimes). God mode is not turned on i checked by turning off and on. this only happens after playing for like 5-10 minute.

I had 446 mods default gamma when installed. Then I added 1 additional mod that was under Stalker Anomaly site for increased inventory space. And under the MO2 I added 1 or 2 more that were already installed in MO2. Which now I have 449 total.

I have absolutely no idea how to research this specific situation because its my first time getting into Stalker Anomaly / GAMMA. I've modded and worked with mod configurations on the Stalker trilogy games and manually added mods without Mod managers and I've downloaded and installed mods on other games but this is a standalone mod manager with launcher which is difficult for me to find a solution fo my situation. Why the game runs fine for few minutes and then starts to constantly freeze every few minutes and sometimes closes the game without any errors or anything.

I will try this and see if the issue persists. The only thing I made slight change was the max carry weight slider that is in the gameplay difficult to be changed from max 50 to more than 50 and I set it at max 150-200 I don't go beyond that. usually the mod allows you to change the carry weight from 1 to 10,000. But that is even too much for me.

I'd recommend (after defaulting gamma) to activate the "Meatchunk prefetcher" mod in MO2, it will increase your initial save loading time, but help a lot after that (tldr most of the game's assets will be stored at your RAM)

Ahh understood. I don't mind having the game load a bit of time this is a heavy 446 modpack ofcourse it will take time to load. My only situation is while inside the game and playing the game the freezes and "Not Responding" messages to stop that is what I want to figure out how to fix. But yeah. I will re-install and setup Default GAMMA and try new save and see if it still has this issue with the freezes/not responding mid-game.

as for having regular software on SSD - that's very old fashioned, like 10 years ago that was true with how nimble SSD's were, rn it's irrelevant, they have enough lifespan for you to not care at all

Hey akzar, so what happened so far. I made GAMMA in default - started a new save, and been running ok but been experiencing slight stutters and from time to time not that bad freezes. Not same as the previous ones but yes, no extra addons, no additional changes but so far been running the game for past 1 hour without getting the game shutting down, freezing for 5-10 minutes, so far have not received "Not Responding". But slight stutters, FPS drops and 1-2 seconds freezes slightly noticable but not a huge deal. If we can investigate to see what we can do to run the game smoothly without those slight stutters, FPS drops and 1-2 seconds freezes I will be extremely happy!

If anyone have any advise on this situation I am experiencing I will greatly appreciate the assistance.

the only thing we know that causes freezes is "turning on Dynamic Music" (also disable EAX)

Well tried to remove Reshade boosted FPS a bit but textures look weird. Is it just me or is it because of Reshade? For example the floor, walls and some objects look slightly pixelated or can't really explain it. But also FPS is at 37 which is not normal. Any advise?

yh so i compared my cpu to yours, yours has only like 15% more single core performance so it could be that

if your laptop has good cooling i recommend some stable overclock if you can, since stalker uses only 1 core it wont heat up as much when overclocking buuut you dont wanna keep switching the OC from bios when playing regular games

you seee since you have hyperthreading that means your threads are essentially doubled

you might have to play around with it but basically what that means is that you have 8 cores and 16 threads

so core 1 has thread 0,1 .... core 2 has 2,3..... and so on

i have no idea why they said in the perf guide that multithreaded users should disable core 1,3 because thats just turning the hyperthreaded cores off but not actually making the game use different core from windows OS

turning off 0,1 would make the game use the third thread, so second core so to speak, so that would mean windows is using core 1 and tthe game has core 2 all for it self

I apologize for posting this again. Wanted to ask for some advise regarding this crash or if even the log shows the crash reason cause I can't really understand what happened.

I was following framerate-optimisation guide channel for better FPS and smoother running game.
By following that channel I disabled:
• 188- Enhanced Shaders - KennShade
• 190- Screen Space Shaders 15.0 - Ascii1457
• 290- Atmospherics Shaders Weathers and Reshade - Hippobot
• 282 - GAMMA Loading Screens (this mod only works with DX11; disable it if you want to play with a different DX version)
I also tinkered a bit with the game and mod settings following another video for Stalker Gamma how to get better FPS and not completely ruin the visual of the game by Cheeki Breeki I was provided a link yesterday and followed it as well as checking what optimisations I can do from the same framerate channel here in discord.
The game was running smoothly yesterday once all changes were made. From 446 mods went to 443 and added a carry weight mod which allows you an option to increase the max carry weight from game difficulty the slider in there. I used it only to increase it to 100-150 max.
Everything was good. Was running for few hours without any issues, no stuttering, no freezes, perfect setup to play without issues. Was slightly brigher but I don't care about that.
When talking to sidorovich and buying some items I went outside his tiny bunker and opened PDA and game just crashed to desktop without any errors, no messages, no "Not Responding" like before. Any advise on what this log shows cause I can't figure it out.

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

You can also try using "Meatchunk's Prefetcher", it's a mod already shipped with Gamma. Will reduce stutters caused by objects load-in, but increase your first load time

one more thing - if you're experiencing every 1 sec small stutters (idk if you checked frametime) - it can't be fixed for now, judging by #📎to-do message will be fixed

WHat helped me when I had this error on first install, was to be completely frustrated and remove GAMMA completely from my drive.
Next day I unpacked everything again, this time the V6Fix from GDrive and the package applied directly.

1. Do you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.0 is the newest)
3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

yes all 446 mods, latest launcher (i think, i got up-to-date version just yesterday), and no, no "X" anywhere.
I got this error while editing graphic settings, people in #╟🔰☢newbies-chat told me to delete shaders cache, i did, now i get this upon launch

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs
3. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.

i wouldn't personally recommend touching graphical settings except for resolution unless you know what you're doing
