1. Add your GAMMA and Anomaly folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.
   You can find these settings here:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings

2. Grab the latest launcher:

4. Launch the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe with Admin Rights and either:

  OR
• Press Install/Update G.A.M.M.A without disabling anything.

So I started my game just fine, loaded in and I don't have any of the items I chose for my loadout in my inventory.

I am getting an issue with the game suddenly becoming a slide show, stutters/freezes lasting 2-4 seconds, but FPS counter is showing good numbers. It continues to lag even when in ESC menu. It even affects windows until I alt-f4 stalker.
Sometimes I can play for an hour sometimes a few mins before it happens. Any ideas what I can do about it?

then, run GAMMA Launcher as admin, disable all options, click "Update"

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
5. OVERWRITE EVERYTHING when asked to do so
6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights

Try to do that if possible, might help to understand the culprit. Just open the overlay and play until you get this situation again. In general sounds a little like some sort of a memory leak, check your ram usage and if the swap is being activated (which is slow obv)

Yeah that’s life, we all got unique software/hardware setups and the real issue can be hidden god knows where, but worth a try to use some commonly available solutions

Last thing - if you’re running an AMD gpu, read this: #╭📖faq message

Also some tips about afterburner overlay - add not only basic stuff like gpu temp, but also gpu power, clockspeed for core and memory, hotspot and memory temps if your gpu gives that data to the system. This will help with further analysis.
Sometimes stuff like that happens when memory overheats and drastically drops clocks, and you won’t notice that at a quick glance, because gpu core can be well within normal temps at this same moment.

Anyway I just recommend googling how to set the overlay properly, helps id you’ve never done this before

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.

6. Launch Anomaly, once you get to the main menu, exit the game.

8. Now, always inside your G.A.M.M.A. folder, go inside the .Grok's Modpack Installer folder and open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin, press First Install Initialization and select your Anomaly folder in the popup, don't open it, you just need to select folder.

As for AA - short answer is no, the long one - AA options in game do almost nothing, you can play with reshade filters, but that impacts performance heavily. If you’re on Nvidia 10xx and newer try DSDSR 1.78x or 2.25x

Well, it’s debatable in terms of what you get visually and what you loose performance wise. There are a lot of discussions on this topic in Anomaly discord/reddit, that Xray AA (MSAA for example) is very taxing and really not that noticeable

Well, as Falco mentioned, technically AA options do work, but (for me and actually for a few other people) they don’t change much visually.

That’s why my suggestion is to use DLDSR as a sort of upscale-based AA, but much less taxing on your system than say MSAA in Anomaly’s settings. It’s simple to use and requires two clicks in Nvidia Control Panel

Hey guys, a bit new to the Discord but I've been playing a run of Stalker GAMMA for a while and have noticed an issue and I'm not sure what to do about it.
Hopefully it's not just me missing something, but for some reason when I harvest from mutants I haven't been getting any hides at all, or snork hands dropping (after harvesting 100+ mutants and a couple dozen snorks with hunting knife and the backpack for it).
Just recently did a full installation about a month ago (followed the install guide to the letter) and updated yesterday (no luck with the issue so far).

@median jackal To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Reloading a save after melting artefacts to create an improved artefact is degrading my artefacts

For example I combined 3 bracelet artefacts. The condition of the final bracelet artefact after combining them was 74%. After reloading my save, it undid the artefact melting, changing the condition to 27%.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.

Hey uh, I'm getting an issue where pistols and only pistols are screwy. I can equip them and interact with them in my inventory, but when I equip them, they don't unholster and it locks me out of swapping to any other equipped items including my knife. I've tested with a bunch of other stuff, two-handed weapons like rifles and shotguns are all fine, it's only pistols that are doing this.

I can't swap off of them without manually unequipping them in my inventory, no commands (change ammo, change fire mode, etc...) work while it's out, it can't shoot, and I can't swap to something else. See screenshot for what it looks like.

There seems to be a bush when you shoot an SVD equipped with a PSO-1M sight while using the nightvision from a Headlamp w/ 1PN93-1 Nightvision that causes bullets to not make any damage not alarm NPCs when hit (the bullet actually fires cause you vsn empty a magazine)

they're not required, they serve as a backup of sorts when you right click > reinstall a mod from MO2, however i think you should keep the mods you're still using in case things break, you can delete all the ones in the Disabled list and their subsequent entries in Downloads which frees up like 3-4GB

Hello all, has there been any further fix for the artifact degrading? I changed out the script given in the bot command; but I just had a 99% jellyfish go back down to 2% on a new save.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

I have 439 Mods, I downloaded it 3 days ago from the website so should be the latext launcher. The only X I see is under 224 in Newly added addons. The mods in there are GAMMA Economy and craft, Gamma Hud, Gamma Combat and Balance, Gamma Audio and Gamma Fixes are all sepreated under the X in red.

I've got that weird issue when I explore the swamps, my PDA gets blurry and my HP UI stats do not load properly, also any progress towards quests does not update and I cannot save the game. Then it kicks me on the desktop eventually. So annoying. No sure what is causing it. I thought going around Clear Sky camp caused it, but now I've been hunting artefacts for a CS scientist and the same issue. Any idea what is the problema and if I can troubleshoot it somehow?

I did not have this issue when I hang out on the upper part of the swamp's map, not sure if that's in any way related..

If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.

Well there is a seperate 'Artefact Spawn Chance' which handles the spawn chance for the artefacts that normally spawn in that specific area.
But what I don't know is whether or not the 'Random Artefact Spawn Chance' is the chance to change one of those 'normal' artefacts into a 'random' one OR if it is the change to SPAWN a random one indifferent of the original roll to spawn a normal artefact

2) Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3) Windows key + Shift + S, which lets you choose what part of the screen you want to take, it will directly copy the pic for you so all you'll have to do is just CTRL + V in the chat.

hello, I really like gamma, however I have a problem. My PC shuts down regularly. Sometimes after loading, when pressing F5 or F9. When i just start the game so my composant are not hot. Other times randomly. My PC normally doesn't have any problems with any games. Do you have any ideas? THANKS

So I have several issues atm:
When I am repairing something, instead of being able to just click repair multiple times to finish repairing it to full, the repair button goes greyed out and I have to close the repair window and re-use the repair kit to continue to repair the item.

try Settings > Visual > UI/HUD > Ironsight Zoom Multiplier

otherwise what you're seeing is possibly a custom Adjustable Scope View setting so you might have to remove the mod

alternatively you can completely remove Free Zoom and then you can move the scopes for each weapon farther or closer with (i believe) by default LShift + Add/Subtract

(if you don't remove Free Zoom the settings won't stick between going in and out of ADS)

Xenotech and Loris are missing in cordon
Dushman and all other merc traders are missing
Colonet Petrenko and Barkeep is missing in rostok

These are to name a few, the only stalkers I saw in the map are my UNISG team in the sawmill in darkscapes, which is the starting area of UNISG

If you’re talking about installation downloads, then it’s either your internet is slow or download is stuck, you can safely cancel it and reopen the Launcher and hit “Install/Update” again, it will pick up where you left off

in any case your error is specifically caused by enabling both the new and old versions of Hideout Furnitures at the same time. Disable the old version 1.2.0 which is in the Disabled category. The new one is already in the modpack and already on.
