1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.

Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you have a "dark screen" after updating:

1. Open your Mod Organizer.
2. Find mod Screen Spacer Shaders 18.0 > Right click > Reinstall mod.
3. Enable everything BUT DON'T enable SSR WATER ICE and MANUAL (as shown in the picture below)
4. Press OK > Replace.
5. Delete the shaders_cache folder that you can find in your Anomaly\appdata folder.
6. Load the game, it should work now.

Update:

So it turns out, it was dragged and dropped- just incorrectly. Now it's trying to launch the game from the folder that no longer exists. The managed game path has been changed in the mod organizer... but its still trying to launch it from the folder that no longer exists. Going to try to see if there is somewhere else that the path needs changed.

You could try to 'bypass' the effect if you own an Nvidia graphics card. Open the NVCP, add/select your anomaly exe (most likely dx11avx) and select 'image sharpening' turn the sharpen to 0 and film grain to 100%. Keep in mind this will drop your fps by like 1-3 since it's like a brute force method

Aight the font that was checked was 4k so I chose 2k which should fix the font size issue but I still have a question about Girth mod I downloaded it installed it using mo2 and it sits at the bottom of the modlist 536. Now my question is do I drag the font mod to go below Girth or do I move Girth to UI subclass above the 2k font ?

Having issues with setting Core 0 with hyperthreading off. When i setup MO2 to start with core 0 disabled (core 1-5 enabled), the game starts but wont launch, will get stuck on the GAMMA screen, task manager shows AnomalyDX11.exe is running and affinity is showing core 0 is disabled but gets stuck like this. Same if i do it through process lasso. Enabling hyperthreading and setting up core 0 doesnt have this issue, just when hyperthreading is turned off

Its just a dated engine. If you change a lot of mods or do big graphical settings changes it complains about the shaders for that stuff being in there but not needed. That's why we have people delete the shader cache.

Also go to #🤖bot-commands and type !stutter (nvidia step is mandatory for me) , !campfire if you stutter around campfires and !core. All those are possible options. @hardy pecan you could take a look too.

Also consider lowering your DX version if none of that helps.

depends on your internet connection and then your hardware once in the extraction/install phase. somewhere around 45 minutes to an hour most likely. No guarantees though. If it shuts down mid way through it will just pick up where it left off after verifying the existing files if you run it again.

Make sure you read #🖥️how-to-install and DO NOT follow some random install video.

hi folks, is it possible to save enabled / disabled list of mods in MO2 in a text format somehow? I want to diff old list and new with a diff tool after updating gamma. 1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

Run the GAMMA launcher at the left side there are 5 checkboxes. If you followed install instructions they tell you to have the first 4 checked, they were on by default for me. Unchecking them is how to essentially verify and update the GAMMA files. From my understanding anyways, do correct me if i'm wrong i don't wanna induce in error.

One of them is about not updating large files, not sure how relevant that is, but it's helped me.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

Heya I have been playing stalker for about 10 to 20 hours without issue in the southern regions, then when i went to Jupiter it spit out an error message regarding VSK 12.7mm ammo types so i unequipt it and tried again but this time it spit out this error code. i have all 422 mods but when the anomaly launcher pops up itt makes a crash noise but does not bring anything up i played gamma with this install before and it worked but now i does this and i tried the fix to copy the folders from modpacks_patches but it still does not work i have the game on my desktop but whne i move it to my storage the gamma shortcut says something about anomaly not regestering something or finding somethingi dont know how to fix it

Hey I'm doing operation afterglow rally point when Deg asks for the unisg leader pda, problem is he(unisg leader) and his squad were already dead by a black chimera when I finished cleaning the ranger station and since I'm not the one who got the kill I can't see where the bodies are on the minimap and I have no clue where they are, I only found 2 where the chimera was. Does anyone have a idea how can I find this guy's body? Or what is his pda(tried using the one named "isg leader pda" in the "quest" spawner but no joy). Or how to change the quest state so that I can pass this part. Maybe this is the wrong thread but I don't know where to ask.

all save files are showing a black screen with only the hud, anyone know the fix? This is a fresh install from about 3 weeks ago, no modifications, only thing changed was just in-game graphics settings. that's true, but it was just the updated BaS for GAMMA. you mentioning the load order actually helped, cause moving the updated BAS and patch to the spot on the load order where the not-updated versions were fixed the issue. So, uh. Thanks for indirectly helping.

to explain, your issue is caused by that gun missing animation files, and those animation files come from that gunslinger mod

I'm a save scummer so I reload saves often and need to see the screenshot preview of the save file to determine where I'm at. I make use of those screenshots quite often so this is a pretty big detriment being unable to see them

all of my saves are affected, I have 88 saves so far, each one I cannot see the screenshot of the save file

but it's not really a huge deal since it doesn't seem to stop people from accessing the saves
thankfully I can access/load the saves but being unable to see where I'm at in the saves is not ideal
