There are several things that you can do and several things that can cause framerate drops. It's important to remember that this is a VERY old game engine that is locked to a single CPU core. Huge stashes/inventory capacity will tank a games performance. Tons of stalkers all in the same area can tank your performance. Some things you can do is go to #╰⚡fps-optimisation and , You can also go to #🤖bot-commands and type: !stutter or !core or !campfire and

Download a fresh GAMMA rc3 file and re-extract it into your gamma folder. Perhaps the previous one wasn't a complete download or somehow corrupted. That would explain why it starts outside the folder but not in it.

Hello there. I've just started my playthrough of GAMMA, but running into some problems with the PDA. At first I had to choose another tab before I was able to see the map, but after my last load I can't open any tab on the PDA anymore. Reloading or restarting doesn't fix it. Is this a common problem with a common fix? 🙂 EDIT: refreshing the task board is the only thing that works.

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to obtain or buy coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards from completing quests, purchasing stash locations from specific vendors, stalker corpses and by reading and turning in the PDAs that you can find on the** bodies of stalkers you kill**. If said PDA is locked, you'll need to go to a mechanic and pay him to unlock it.

Stash coordinates received from quests or bought from traders will only mark stashes in the regions around where you bought the stash or turned the quest in.
For example, buying a stash from, or turning in a quest to Sidorovich will only give you stash locations in Cordon, Great Swamps, Meadows, Darkscape, and Garbage.

Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

It just tilts the gun to the canted sight. It also works for other attachments. Like if you have a laser you can have a diff aim instead of ads you kinda tilt the gun. Very usefull for aiming with NVG

haven't personally encountered that one, could try disabling the stealth system to see if it fixes the issue. if it does, and you still want it enabled, try messing with the settings in the stealth menu to make them more vigilant

potentially a corrupted/missing texture file. if you haven't updated anomaly to 1.5.2 i would recommend trying that. otherwise, i would download both anomaly and the 1.5.2 patch, copy the fresh gamedata from anomaly and paste it into your local anomaly folder, then repeat that with the 1.5.2 patch. it should replace all of the contents of your gamedata folder with new, uncorrupted files, or just straight up provide you the missing texture file (if it's missing)

The core of the problem is that Reshade does not appear to be active, and I am unsure how to activate it. This is puzzling because I play other modpacks where Reshade functions without issue, indicating that the problem is specific to Stalker Gamma.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.

Hey People!
I have fixed the Moonlight artifact to 100% efficiency by fusing. But whenever I place it in my or the companions stash (both backpacks and containers), it will randomly roll a new number in the lower end of <30% efficiency. I think it recognised the artifact as non-looted and thus rerolls the efficiency number, because the game thinks I am acquiring the artifact from a dead body / random stash.

But I am forced to have it in my inventory or else it will drop from 100% to 10%-25% efficiency. Have this been reported or is there a way to fix this?

Hey everyone
Does anyone else get insanely delayed audio on their system because of GAMMA? Like i load into the game the whole audio hangs up for 3 seconds and every audio on my computer from my microphone to every audio source is delayed as much as the hang up. I am using a Focusrite Scarlett solo interface and nothing else messes it up like GAMMA does. Previous versions did not have such issue. Furthermore, new characters i make don't have this issue but my main playthrough thats in the Dead City is unplayable because of this.

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

so in the main story i've found the gauss rifle but rogue wasn't shown on the map so i've met him through console commands but now since he wasn't there to begin with i can't go back and talk with him again. does anyone know the command for the quest after findining the gauss rifle? the one that asks you to talk to rogue? i've gone through the general quests xml files but no luck maybe im doing something wrong?

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

So I was having trouble with loading into Rostok. I searched and found out I was using the wrong Launcher. I download the new launcher and that changed all my keybinds.

No big deal, I can change them as I go and remember where most of them are.

Problem is, I can't keep my PDA open. I open the PDA, I click anywhere on it and it puts the PDA away. I am searching and searching through the options and I cannot find anywhere where this would cause the PDA to be put away and I'm about to scream.

1. North areas still have psy dmg and you just don't have enough resistance, but it's doubtful.
2. task is bugged and you need to force it complete by using debug

Heyhey. I am somewhat newish to Gamma and have found maybe a bug? when i started Playing i often got some random chatter through the PDA (Someone found an artifact, someone was killed and so on). Now, some Hours into the game (i am Progressionwise after the Brain Scorcher), almost all Random PDA Chatter has stopped. i maybe get one sentence right after an emission and then complete silence again. Its not gamebreaking but i really liked it immersionwise.
Does someone know why? i havent changed any Settings regarding this and i dont have the feeling that there arent enough Stalkers out there anymore (i regulary run into different groups). Is this a known bug?
