Luanch the game using your ModOrganizer.exe in the GAMMA folder. The installer should have also made a shortcut on your desktop called G.A.M.M.A

That error above happens when you are launching vanilla anomaly. If that doesn't fix it then let me know.

I would encourage you to start fresh with the default if you made tons of changes. A lot of the settings in there can crash the game if tweaked. However, if you don't want to start fresh then yes, put the user.ltx back in the Anomaly/appdata folder.

Hey, got a performance problem.
I just got a new RX 7600, tried a few games already and they all run just fine on highest settings.
However, GAMMA stays at 40-60 FPS at (almost) default settings (AA and grass shadows are off) and it doesn't feel like 60 FPS at all.
What could be the problem?

CPU and GPU usages are at 50% both, yet my game runs at 40-60FPS
Support for AVS CPU is on, core 0 is off in task manager.

i think this is the correct place to post i hope im right. i have an issue where my map does not show up when i bring out the pda and i bring the pda to my face. the map does not show up unless i click another tab and then click back to the map. it would be nice to just pull out the pda and see the map from the hip and not have to bring it to the face and make two clicks before the map apears. when i watch videos on youtube people bring out the pda and the map is already visible. is there a fix for this?

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

When I first installed GAMMA I turned on and off a bunch of them, but then I recently updated the launcher, so I don't know if those changes have been saved or not. After it updated I made those changes.
I was also planning on turning off GAMMA Economy to have an economy similar to Anomaly and turning on MeatChunk's prefetcher for smoothness
One of the mods I fiddled before I updated made me do a reinstall (of the mod) to choose some options, I believe it was something to do with the item icons in the inventory.
Is there a way to revert my active/inactive mods back to the way it was when it was finst installed?

Make sure you untick EVERY box like the directions say. There is a modDB mod problem right now that is breaking peoples installs. You will be fine as long as you follow these directions though.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Do not quote me on this because I am not sure, but if you run anomaly.exe (not mo2) you should be able to play base anomaly. If you want another modpack you can use MO2 profiles (which idk how to do but know it works).

But Gamma saves are definitely not compatible with anomaly saves and i would think the same for vise versa.

His BHS HUD is fine (that's what is controlled by the H key), it's just regular HUD that turned off

yo. for some reason whenever i play gamma it runs well (70+ fps) then i get a frame drop at some point and it stays at 14-19 fps until i restart the game. does anyone know what could cause this? @ me

Solved my problem with getting hurt by sprinting despite the legs aren't hurt! If u set the speed multiplier for sprinting in the Grok go faster mod to several times base game speed (like in my game it was set to 3x), this will happen. Found out because some other Germans were sharing this insight in the German channel
