if anyone can help with Fatal Error 1057. Ive been struggling to fix it. I did a complete reinstall, made sure the game was updated fully, made sure there are no red Xs or flags in the mid organizer

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so. (If you are not blocked, continue)

Then, do exactly this:
2. Check if you have the latest launcher (3.8 is too old)
If you don't, do 2), 3) and 4) of the !40 command and move to the next step)
3. Disable antivirus temporarily
4. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Exclusions
5. Open GAMMA Launcher as admin
6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #🔨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click “OK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

I have a minor issue and was hoping by any chance there's a fix for it, so when i open my crafting menu I'm stuck with an items description that prevents me from selecting anything, restarting the games works but after using the crafting menu afew times its back and I cant craft anything all i got is this description following my mouse around 😦

Actual explanation at the bottom but simply put:

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

  1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

  2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
  3. Move both the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 Anomaly .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

  1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Disable every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

Send your crash log where it was asked IF YOU ARE BEING HELPED, not inside #🤖bot-commands if you're using this command in this channel. You won't be helped, it's literally just a channel where you can use commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hi. I've encountered a CTD while in Cordon, from the Vehicle Station, on my way back to Rookie Village.

Everything's going well and all until I've arrived at the campfire between Vehicle Station and Rookie Village, the one with a tent. My screen froze for a moment, then returned back, I've check the logs and saw the lines "! you are trying to use a destroyed object [0] [4]" in red getting spammed on. Tried to save at the bonfire and the CTD happens right after that.

A possible fix for health HUD related 'busyhands' on load/transition:
Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete Atmospherics_GAMMA_x.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

Yes, i am also missing anomoly textures in game, also when i launch gamma, on the main screeen the green gamma logo is not there, there is a blue window

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

A couple of questions for you:

  1. Do you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 3.8 is too old)

DO NOT ENABLE THEM. SERIOUSLY. DON'T.

What about animations? Can I enable them?

DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST.
They are disabled for the same reasons written above.

Why do we have these mods in the mod list if we can't activate them?

Because G.A.M.M.A. is STILL IN BETA.
NO, Grok can't simply remove these mods. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.

If you really want to use stuff that is disabled by default, forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

1) Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
2) Uncheck every box
3) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.

Send your crash log where it was asked IF YOU ARE BEING HELPED, not inside #🤖bot-commands if you're using this command in this channel. You won't be helped, it's literally just a channel where you can use commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

hello, I've been playing for awhile now but i ran into in "issue". i replaced parts of of a firearm using the maintain parts feature with a kit like I've done before, totally repaired the gun and parts but it still has stat debuffs and jams occasionally even though its repaired 100% and the parts are at 99% Am i just doing something wrong? i dont ever remember this being an issure before

What it is? In context, I tried to repair the error of night_mutants but the error still happening, so I tried to put off that mod in MO2, and now this appears. Seriously this is getting annoying

Tried entering rostok after updating my game. Did a clean install of GAMMA and ANOMALY, re-used old saves. Have the following error:

on that note some bushes look normal.

Interesting enough, those graphic isses solve/ and change per reload.
If I restart the game either some is fixed, or it turns into a graphic issue where some of the bushes have half winter texture.
Or the lightning is over saturated on the world, making everything in distance look like someone is pointed a 400 W floodlight on it

Not sure if this is considered "default" since it has to do with mags redux but its the only modifcation I've made so far. Anyways, after following the steps to enable it, I cant find the place to change the "unjam" bind, as well as the "quick melee" or "companion teleport" binds under the "Mod Options" section. The mod options section simply doesnt show up at all. Any help would be appreciated. I have not started a fresh save yet since reinstalling gamma, im not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. (Before asking, yes I disabled the Unjam mod in MO2)

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Disable every box in the Launcher

hey so ive been trying to disable the miracle machine for a while now and i keep randomly crashing the game. no error message or anything it just closes to the mod loader. I was troubleshooting the issue and i was getting an achievement for breaking boxes while i was playing. i got the furthest i ever did before without breaking boxes then towards the end i broke some and got the achievement and shortly after i crashed again. idk if its just a coincidence with the achievement or not but i cant progress in this mission without crashing at random times before i leave. This is the first time this has happened...

Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #🔨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click “OK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

This is what you could find:

  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Ive did some testing and was able to fix it.

I did a complete install of gamma (over the launcher, setting everything with update large files).

But ALSO I choose to delete shader DLLs. In my case I assume some shaders were left ... Somewhere .. even after desintalling them.

Attempt to do a full update of gamma (with large files, takes notes of your modlist before, it resets!!!).

Also set to delete Shader DLLs.
Make sure that no Reshade, also not the classic reshade, is installed on gamme OR Anomaly. Make sure they deinstalled before doing the redownload

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Disable every box in the Launcher
