So I accidentally opened an application that is hotkeyed to my keyboard while in game, and it made the game's window "(not responding)".

honestly at this point i kind of want you to update, because i would guess you're missing at least one or two mods off the active list at this point.

• launch the GAMMA Launcher as admin
• disable "Update large files" and "Force git download"
• click "Install/Update GAMMA"
• let it finish, re-launch MO2, play

let us know if errors pop up in the black window. Doing this will reset settings/keybinds/modlist but will not affect saves. You can backup your settings by backing up Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx

updated game, this still happens. Cursor in game menu is really slow, and the moment i clicked on options game crash with this error

Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the other factions.
Another good example, ever played GTA? Do a "GTA cheat" in the character creation screen.

You need to enable a mod in MO2: Quick Companion Teleport

When you're in game, press J (you probably want to change this keybind to something else or remove it from the taskboard function, because it is used for both).

Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

If you don't want to enable the mod, then you can also just tell them to follow you and then go sleep in a bed, it should work. Be sure to be close to them because they still need to "hear you".

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:
🔹Add your Anomaly folder to antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
🔹To keep your savefiles type !save in #🤖bot-commands
🔹Now delete all content inside your Anomaly installation folder
🔹If you no longer have both anomaly zip files then acquire them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands (or if this is your second attempt)
🔹Move both the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 Anomaly .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder
🔹Right click the 1.5.1 file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here"
🔹Then right click the 1.5.2 update and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here"
🔹Launch Anomaly to the main menu once, then exit the game
🔹Go to your GAMMA folder and delete ModOrganizer**.ini**, found right under the ModOrganizer.exe

Hey so the red dot on some weapons is enlarged compared to others(eg my RD 74M compared to MP5A3 Frasier). Does anyone know how to make the red dot smaller on specific weapons? is this a mod conflict? It looks like the same "red dot" but just scaled up in size in comparison. you do not need to delete anything.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I need help, recently a fog appeared in my game, it doesn't matter what level im on, what is the weather, the sky can be clear but the fog is still there. I have foggy weather turned off in the setting because i just don't like how it looks. My render distance is set to max so its not that. Here is a screenshot to show you how it looks like. I have started new saves and it didn't go away. I record myy gameplay so i know it didn't look like that before. It is really annoying in places like Zaton because the fog esentially recudes my render distance in half.

Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

  Well I just tried the tips in FAQ, but deleting common squads will kinda ruin everything, like ongoing quests, my companions etc.

Only use after trying other common fixes, like running another install in the launcher.

1. Go to \Anomaly\appdata and open user.ltx with a text editor.
2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
3. Launch the game and open the settings.
4. Click Visual then Advanced.
5. Slightly reduce Texture detail and Object detail.

Ahhh ok, that explains it. So there is a ton of stuff changing almost weekly. All of which makes pre 0.9 saves more and more obsolete. Unfortunately if "pre 0.9 save fix" doesn't not work for you then you will need to mentally prepare yourself to start a new game.

Now I downloaded everything and when I run the game my PDA is blurred for some reason. Can anyone drop me a hint as to why it happens? Everything else seems to be working just fine. Helpers and moderators are the ones that call the bot commands for different situations. If your save started in gamma version 0.8 and you updated to 0.9 somewhere around April. Then continued playing that 0.8 save with the pre 0.9 save fix enabled. If all of that is true then you are shit out of luck. Pre 0.9 saves are a ticking time bomb at this point. They might work for a while but its inevitable that they will crash.

Ok, Let me try to explain it all again. When you installed your modpack, for some reason the modlist did not transfer over right. This resulted in 0 active mods. So you enabled a crap ton of them and got yourself to 448 mods. This is a big problem since a majority of mods that are by default DEACTIVATED are that way due to severe bugs. I need you to follow those directions to see if it sets your mod list back to default. If it does NOT then I have another command that will work for you. However, you need to follow those directions first.

Anyone had the game freeze and then a sound plays, but no error screen comes up and you have to alt+f4 or end it via task manager? It happens after 20 seconds to a minute when I load in, it just freezes.

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

1. Do you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 3.8 is too old)

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in ⁠🔨support-custom-modlist.
