Disguises seemingly have stopped working or I'm an idiot. Using an ecologist suit with the patch attached, disguise gameplay option activated, and yet Mercenaries shoot me on sight.

What's weird is that I'm 80% certain this same exact disguise has worked on them before.

The suit itself is also fully repaired, I don't have my guns out, I've even removed most of my active items in case that's triggering them.

I was having a random CTD issue earlier, reading through some support here I tried a reinstall, then the largefiles fix, neither seems to have helped, I now have red Xs in MO2.

hey, so I have to question
what does the AVX mean in the launch settings drop down?
and why do DirectX9 and 10 fail to launch the game? the first time I tried it with DX9, it just launched normal anomaly, and the second time I tried, along with trying DX10, it just didn't launch anything at all. the reason I want to try and run in older DX versions is because I have a GTX650 TI and dual Xeon X5570s, so I get no more than 26 FPS in DX11, but around 60 to 80 in DX8, but in DX8 there are also a few noticeable graphical errors that I was originally hoping DX9 might fix

AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

Because you were in here BEFORE we got this rank thing in motion, so it's like you didn't have a role for the server, yet.

I believe you can just start them the same way with the correct task Id. With step 5 there's probably a slightly different command you can use. Stay young the one presented but use tab to auto fill to see if there's anything to restart a quest

I've started having consistent crashes while looting and during combat. I downloaded a few months ago but recently started getting into it. I played for 3-4 days with no problems. I assumed maybe I tweaked a mod and it was messing with my save. The game just freezes and im forced to restart my computer. It blanks the screen when I tab out. If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

I've started having consistent crashes while looting and during combat. I downloaded a few months ago but recently started getting into it. I played for 3-4 days with no problems. I assumed maybe I tweaked a mod and it was messing with my save. The game just freezes and im forced to restart my computer. It blanks the screen when I tab out. Hi, are regular artifacts (not perkifacts) supposed to degrade? I'm posting here because I suspect it to be a bug. I had an Empty, a Soul and a Lobster Eyes degrade randomly from 99% to half health, then again to a sliver of health, while in LLMC, that is: I put a 99% arti into the LLMC and next time I look it's half health. It seemed to happen most when I switch artis (from belt containers to LLMC and viceversa) and happened 3/4 times in 14 in game days.

If you meet one of those two follow these steps:

1. Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (under GAMMA Fixes)

3. Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.

gavrilenko does not give any quests. he takes over quests of npcs that died of were deleted in your game because of emissions, etc.
they are stuck on him and your only two options are either leave them as is or regularly kill gavrilenko while disguised. he will respawn.

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

Yes, Select your exe version you want in the top right instead of Anomaly Launcher then click Play or whatever its says to the right. I would recommend the DX11 or DX11-AVX launchers.

For whatever reason my game crashes while trying to defend against monolith soldiers crossing the barrier. My thought is it might be a gun trying to be shot by either side Freedom or Monolith, and it just causes the game to crash. Only reason I say that is because it crashes at different intervals but usually around the same time, give or take 15-30 seconds.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.

!full // well. usually those memory errors = corrupted mod and not actually an issue with your memory - step 1 would be to run a full install again, just to see if it can repair the modlist. This does not affect saves, but will reset your keybinds and settings

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

The kit gets used but the parts stay at the same condition

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I'm honestly not sure why this happened, but I was loading a previous save several times (i was trying to get into a weird anomoly and kept dying) and it turned my SFX volume all the way down. It was the same save, and I loaded it most likely 3 or 4 times and then it turned the SFX volume all the way down and I didnt worry too much about it, died and loaded it again, but the volume was still all the way down. I thought it might be the game being weird so I restarted but it persisted, eventually looked into my sound settings and it literally had turned the SFX volume all the way down? not sure if this is a bug or not but its definitally one of the more interesting things that have happened so far lol

1. Delete everything in the folder
2. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin

Configurable Balanced Mutants is a default mod in GAMMA but I have no idea where exactly is it configurable

Because even 4 shots of AP or HP TOZ34 against a boar didn't kill the thing. Is that normal?

hello, recently downloaded gamma 0.9. My minimap is still the square one and not the new modular compass minimap. I have 306 - Modular Compass Minimap checked in the mod organizer and tried it with 201 - SquareDOV (square minimap) checked and unchecked. still shows square minimap what should i do?

I believe if you type map in the filter search in MO2 there's another map mod maybe under optional or newly added mods that's also a map mod, it could be that, I also used to like running just the compass but have gotten used to the new mini map, it's not that intrusive

Only use after trying other common fixes, like running another install in the launcher.

1. Go to \Anomaly\appdata and open user.ltx with a text editor.
2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
3. Launch the game and open the settings.
4. Click Visual then Advanced.
5. Slightly reduce Texture detail and Object detail.
