To remove fog from Screen Space Shader perform the following steps.

1.) Go to GAMMA\mods\190- Screen Space Shaders 15.0 - Ascii1457\gamedata\shaders\r3
2.) Open the file check_screenspace.h with any text editor
3.) Insert // in front of the line #include "check_screenspace_FOG.h"
4.) Save the file
5.) Delete the folder Anomaly/appdata/shader_cache

Getting a hard crash after taking the "defend the pump station" mission in the Great Swamp. Initially, it crashed with no error message when I used the guide to get there quickly. Then I tried running on foot and now I've got this error.

i don't know how to do this. "Using 7Zip, extract S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly-1.5.1-to-1.5.2-Update.7z into the same Anomaly folder. Use the same method as in step 1.

So you basically drag the files from the right box (7zip) onto an empty space in the left window (anomaly folder) Make sure you don't accidentally drop it on top of one of the folders, then it will extract those things into that folder instead.

Im currently doing the mortal sin questline and everytime I get to the end of Limansk, past the construction site, my game crashes there. It seems like other people have had this problem too, but I am not sure how they resolved it. Thanks

I've found one person to suggest you tell your companions to wait because their path finding crashes the game. I sort of figured this was the case because they would always get stuck and not be able to follow me and then the game would crash. Will report back if it works.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

Hi, not sure if I'm posting this in the right channel, but I recenlty updated through the Gamma Launcher cause it said "moddb addons: update available", and now I have an issue with the Survival Needs UI not showing correctly.

hey im getting this issue upon pressing install/update(modpack_maker_metadata.txt file not found in Grok's Modpack Maker root folder, exiting.
Please copy the modpack_maker_metadata.txt file from a valid modpack to Grok's Modpack Maker root folder, where 02.modpack_maker.bat file is visible.
) . i think its due to not having all the files for the launcher could be wrong but the launcher download link is dead when i click it so i used a launcher that was posted back in the discord history

Dear admins, I need some help with a bugged quest...or I guess, I bugged it myself. Anyways, there is a fetch quest given to me by Freedom's general trader, which requires me to fetch some "important documents" in the stash in Red Forest. When I got there, the stash only had an update kit and nothing else. I've been toying with ZCP drop chances, could that have some kind of effect on the drops inside the stash that should contain documents? If so, how do I fix it?

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

I keep reading about a "default mod list" but by default all 484 mods are disabled and I can't figure out what i'm supposed to enable. I can see there is a modlist.xml file indicating which mods are supposed to be used but the mod manager does't seem to do anything with it, every mod is always disabled by default and there's no indication anywhere what i should enable. what am i doing wrong?

*Edit: I went through the procedure to update GAMMA and when this process was done the default mod list was loaded into mod loader and the game starts

Whelp, got the game launching okay but it looks like this. I thought reshade was the problem but the game still looks this way after removing it. I've had a lot of weird issues with stalker mods over the years but this is a first. I imagine there's some graphics setting that's responsible?

well, the fact that you can start a new game ok highly suggests to me that it's an issue with the save - or that old save is trying to load in npcs with a bugged loadout of some sort

Hello, im experiencing something that i cant really call a bug, its more like a feature i dont know how to disable, whenever i take damage of any kind, my entire screen goes transparent red for half a second, and its annoying to me because every tick from bleed damage, radiation, or any other form of damage procs this effect, and it throws me off, i didnt allways have this though, i remember fucking around with some mcm settings and i ended up enabling this effect, now i dont know how to disable it and it is annoying to me. I appreaciate any help.

Hello everyone,

First of all thank you in advance for your support. My game crashes when I enter areas like Dead City or Cordon. Yesterday when I had the crashes I was getting a memorry error. I thought the problem was in my PC, so I reduced the graphic settings and tried to see if anything changed. When I try again entering these zones I get a crash but now I don't get any error, just the game crashes.

The crash occurs on the loading screen, just at the end of the loading bar, the game crashes. I am going to add the xray file to help but I think this error is not going to have an easy solution...

I accidentally moved A BUNCH on mods to a random category when trying to select all of them (drag and select does not work)
Everything was fine, since it's just random separators, but after updating my addons it messed up everything and I can barely play without a crash.. As you can see, my 187 - Shaders is completely empty (amongst other separators which are bundled up incorrectly)

If anyone can do that, I would greatly appreciate it..

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Situation:
Since some time, I started to get the crashes on Quick Travel.
I always got the crash on the load of the second map since the start of the game, with the error gamedata\scripts\optimized_time_events.script:250: attempt to index local 't1' (a nil value).
I tried the following. It reduced the number of crashes, but they still are present:

  1. Go to your gamma folder.
  2. Search for the file called optimized_time_events.script. You should find three copies - one from the installer folder, one from Arti Overhaul mod, one from the PDA Taskboard mod.
  3. Choose the file from the Overhaul mod because it loads last, so it overwrites the resulting file last.
  4. Replace the "unpack" if around line 250 with the one below

Im getting the below error when i try to load a save in zaton.
The auto save on enter works fine it seems to crop up on load of quick saves after that point.
It seems to reoccur if I load the autosave and then play for awhile save and then load that save.
Iv yet to see if im able to transfer back to Jupiter save and load there.

The save loads the first time but I have a bugged UI and cant use items with out it getting stuck

You have two folders, one with all of the Anomaly files that you downloaded and one with all the gamma files you downloaded. inside the Anomaly one there will be a bin folder with all the exe files to start anomaly.

1.) Go to [YOUR GAMMA folder]\downloads and delete the files

2.) Download the file from GitHub by clicking the green button "Code" > Download zip.

3.) Make sure the zip file is named:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Anomaly-Gunslinger.zip
Rename the archive if it has "-main " at the end.
4.) Make sure that the very first folder in the archive is named
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Anomaly-Gunslinger-main
5.) Move the archive to [YOUR GAMMA folder]/Downloads.
6.) Launch the GAMMA Launcher as administrator.
7.) Uncheck all boxes except:
Force zip extraction
8.) Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Hey folks. I keep getting this mesage and crash every 10 minutes. I close and turn off my external audio software. I closed my MSI and all the system data for gamingb ut I still crash with these errors

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
