Sorry for the necro reply, but, I figured it relevant for anyone facing a similar issue to be able to see this. I ended up getting it fixed the usual way, and 'reinstall' was not nearly as scary of a word as it seemed at first. Whole process was much quicker than it might imply.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

1.) Download the file from GitHub, by pressing the Green "Code"button>Download zip.

3.) Open Stalker_GAMMA-main.zip using 7-zip then open the folder inside of it
4.) Select the 4 files that are shown in the picture below, and drag & drop them into GAMMA RC3\.Grok’s Modpack Installer
5.) Rename G.A.M.M.A_definition_version.txt to version.txt
6.) Run the Launcher as administrator
7.) Disable
"Force git download"
"Update Large Files"

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.

Getting this error when spawning or going to Rostok, also had one earlier before I reinstalled but it was for the mp5 instead in the great swamp or for any Clear Sky soldier on the map(assuming because faction loadout) Am I installing Anomaly or Gamma incorrectly, I followed the tutorial and it worked fine for days then but randomly now after starting a new playthrough my game always has either issue. I'm using base gamma installation with no added mods.

Scroll down and download dxvk-2.0.tar.gz then open it like a .zip file.
Double click the .tar file inside to open it like a folder, then keep going until you can open the x64 folder.
Take all the .dll files from inside the x64 folder and place them in \Anomaly\bin and overwrite.

If you wish to remove it again then remove the .dll files and type !k98 in #πŸ€–bot-commands

I did have UGM installed and assumed the error was possibly from that so I uninstalled everything and used base gamma 380 mods and haven't tweaked anything not even shaders. Fresh install, had the issue on both a save of gamma with gun mods and BASE gamma installation like I am using now.

This command is specific for a specific kind of crash, but it's good in any case to remember an important lesson:

If you enabled ANY FDDA animation, turn them all off.
Yes I'm talking about backpack, crouch, mutant loot and items pick up. It's causing your crash. I don't care what you think it is, it's FDDA. Turn that shit off.

The only thing you can keep enabled is the first option: Enable FDDA animations

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

You need to enable a mod in MO2: Quick Companion Teleport

When you're in game, press J (you probably want to change this keybind to something else or remove it from the taskboard function, because it is used for both).

Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

If you don't want to enable the mod, then you can also just tell them to follow you and then go sleep in a bed, it should work. Be sure to be close to them because they still need to "hear you".

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Good day,
coming back after a few months with a fresh gamma and anomaly installation (downloaded and installed everything according to #πŸ–₯️how-to-install) I get a generic error during the loading screen every time I begin a game as a loner. It also happens nearly every time I start with a different faction. The game complains (in the log) that the script a_faction_prices can not be found.
The file ''mods\G.A.M.M.A. UI\gamedata\scripts\a_faction_prices.script" exists and looks like a valid script.
Just to be sure, can someone upload their current one? I'd like to validate that.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

  1. Go to the link the Helper has provided above (or below).
  2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
  3. Place them into your GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
  4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin. Make sure only β€œForce zip extraction” is enabled.
