To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

  1. Go to the link the Helper has provided above (or below).
  2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

1) Download the old BaS version:

2) Extract what you downloaded wherever you want
3) Copy the gamedata folder you'll find inside
4) Open your GAMMA RC3 folder and go to GAMMA RC3/Grok's Modpack Installer/GAMMA/modpack_addons
5) Create a new folder exactly named 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich
6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Open Gamma Launcher as Admin
9) Uncheck every box, but leave Force zip extraction box checked.
10) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt

  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

hey folks, had to reinstall my OS due to a corruption issue. i left the drive with Gamma on it alone. however if i try to launch it from the Mod organizer it fills the progress bar to 100% but then nothing happens. i tried updating the modpack but no change. any ideas?

i had 380 mods, but i disabled atmosphere sjhader, and other two shaders for fps, and i enabled mags redux, mags at traders disabled unjam relaod for gamma, downloader latest RWAP weapons addon (without g36) and blackmarket addon since i can't sell guns to anyone.

hey folks, i've been having issues with Anomaly after reinstalling my OS. StalZi helped earlier. but it didn't fix the issue. i've been following the guide for a clean install, but on the step where i need to launch anomaly i now get this error. i already went back to step 1 and extracted anomaly again.

hey guys someone know how the use the compass only without overriding the HUD ? The compass only works for me if I also reinstall the HUD but when I doo this the HUD is not standard. Its something else and some features are missing or look different.

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

Then, do exactly this:

2. Disable antivirus temporarily
3. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Exclusions
4. Open GAMMA Launcher as admin
5. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the launcher with admin rights
  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Im reinstalling SquareDOV since it looks broken on ultrawide with the compass however when I launch the game, its the same minimap as before. I disabled modular compass minimap and replaced squareDOV with the new install. Am I missing something?

guys, I wanted to know if I'm doing something wrong here. I love adding and creating my own textures in GAMMA, usually I just drop the dds files on the overwrite folder. But since 0.9 I can't see them actually being loaded in game. Mod Organizer show them as being loaded but not the game.

GAMMA keeps crashing. I tried deleting shader_cache folder, using default user.ltx, disabling all shaders, disabling them one by one - nothing. I can only launch in DX8 mode. DX9 does not get past the menu, and DX10 and 11 crash at the startup

From what I know this is also an old bug. But this is caused by Antivirus blocking the X-ray engine from doing its thing. Already tried disabling the anti-virus, but still the same. So don't bother trying, just saying. I found it on somewhere on Google, Moddb discussion.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Ok, so I managed to play the game by installing DX to Vulkan patch, but now reshade menu doesn't work. I tried installing latest ReShade, downloaded from their site and that issue came back. So my guess is that ReShade somehow conflicts with either AMD gpu's or stalker engine is broken with AMD. Either way I hope this will be useful for someone. (When I first installed the game ReShade worked just fine)

Hi guys, in 0.9 every time I try to enter army warehouses the game crashes with an invalid memory reference error. I’ve searched all over for similar errors and I can see that a bunch of people are having the same problem (but with different maps). Somebody suggested that 0.9 simply doesn’t like saves from pre-0.9, and that’s the cause of the error. Can anyone confirm that this is true and the only way to be free of the error is to start a new save?

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Hi! I'm having issues with the Pin artefact, multiple playthroughs now. When a new found (let's say 15% condition) Pin is placed in a stash, after reopening/loading the game, the artefact shows 100% condition, but when taken into inventory, the condition resets to a random (I'm guessing drop) percentage. Even when empowered multiple times to let's say 60%, after putting it in the stash and taking out after load, the percentage gets reset again. This happens only with Pin, no other artefacts.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

  7. Uncheck every box in the Launcher

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete Atmospherics_GAMMA_x.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

Hi, sorry to repeat myself but I asked this earlier and didn't get much of a response. I'm convinced that I read in the patch notes that if you put your artefacts inside the workbench stash and use the artefact melter from there, you won't receive radiation. However, whenever I open the crafting menu via the workbench I instantly start receiving radiation from all the artefacts in there. Did I misunderstand how it's supposed to work?
