It won't delete your save files.

why does my game look like this? The contrast looks way too blown out after appyling the patch in "modpack_patches". Even after changing the contrast in the basic lighting settings it looks the same

Do you run a default modlist? This seems like some shader issues also maybe be related to dynamic tonemap so find it in MCM and click default then apply.

i don't think melee is a viable option in this game unless your armor is elite. At least for me it only takes a couple snips from a dog to send me into shock, bleeding profusely.

i think there is something wrong with the downloading that the installer does. or something of the sort. I moved my game to a different drive and it corrupted a certain zip file, sending the installer into a loop of trying to install from that corrupted file.

ive been given a few different mirrors to downloading that specific file but none of them worked. Thankfully the initial install guide's 'downloads.7z' file had a working file and i swapped it out with the bad one and the installer worked a charm after that.

i did the reshade one. Should be the first option in the guide. I didn't delete the files, i just moved them out of that folder. Try following that one. Make sure your anti aliasing is disabled in game, follow the instructions for the reshade deal, load in, see if you have the proper fps, then re enable everything. That is what i did to fix my fps. Not sure what happened beyond the anti aliasing for me, but maybe the same thing happened to you.

on a serious note, a great many issues might crop up when using an old save on this new pack. I am not absolutely sure on that but, there is a mod option under GAMMA fixes in mo2 called 'fix for old saves' you could try.

You can assign different keys to reloading and unjamming the weapon both keybind options are found in "settings" - "control" - "keybind". Unjam weapon is at the bottom of everything.

found the problem, one mod replaced the "ui_keybinding.xml" and i decided to do little bit of merging

No problem, there's a different mod for fonts called Modern UI Font, if you search keyword font you will see all of the mods available, you can try them to see if you get different results without losing the fonts.

Ok nice! So your CPU was just literally just getting thermal throttled like crazy when your fan was not working? I talked it over with some people and one of them suggested that you should definitely figure out how to disable your E-cores btw when running Anomaly/GAMMA, additionally, we all agree you would get performance increase if you either force turbo-mode on at all time, or even better, overclock your CPU (meaning its probably time to upgrade to a big boy aircooler if you're not already using one). After doing that, if you notice that the GPU is bottlenecking (meaning less performance if you increase grass/texture count or push graphic setttings) then upgrading your GPU would see improvement as well. When you're thinking about upgrading next time definitely consider the two (cooler first to force boost/overclock, then GPU). Hit me up again if you're wondering about anything else

well the error shows DX9AVX, so i don't know how you ended up on that chosen renderer, i'd imagine that you either do not have the proper dx9 files or you trying to run AVX on a system that doesn't support it.

It is, each save at a campfire spits out 3 files btw, you should see that pattern. When you want to transfer one save make sure you either make room for it (meaning delete some older saves) or migrate all the existing files out into wherever you are keeping your saves backup (make sure to keep the saves from the two computer separate so you don't get confused).

i remember having an issue with a quest not updating after picking up an artifact. I don't know if that is the one but, i ended up using the debug option to spawn artifacts until the quest updated. Save the game and use the debug to spawn artifacts until it hits the one you need, take note which one triggered the update, then reload and go back in and spawn that specific one.

most of the time, if you have your folder and file structure in the right place, it's just a matter of having the latest launcher and hitting install/update

I'm still trying to get the gosh darn compass mod working. It says to pick one under 199 - Minimap, but no matter which I pick I still get the large square minimap upper left. The only thing id think to do is run the installer again, hit update button and make sure you dont get error messages in the black screen that pops up alongside the installer.

Are you running an old save on the new pack? How old is it? There is a mod in the Gamma Fixes section that say 'fix for old save.' You could try that out.

Moddb is causing the issue as powershell says that the download attempt resulted in 522 error - same as moddb right now returns the same error if you try to open it.

Okay. I haven't overwritten any of Anomalies main files at all, everything from the update seems to hae been added but wasn't enabled in MO2 upon updating. Is there a checklist somewhere so I can just enable what needs to be enabled?

even if its called GAMMA launcher you could still be using version 4.2

Nah it's 4.3.0.0 The game when loading shows 0.9 on the splash screen and I see new mods in my MO2 modlist like "pre 0.9 save fix"

So it's like there's a disconnect between MO2 and the update as far as the actual user profile/modlist goes.
