It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Since updating to .9 the zone has much more foliage and trees around than i remember, consequently I am getting shot through bushes constantly. Is the zone supposed to be different now?

yes, new visual mods = leaves on the bushes. yes you're going to get shot through them. you can enable "NPCs cannot see through foliage" in GAMMA fixes if you want.

All I'll say is that if you update and you get low FPS, go to the GAMMA Launcher and check the 'Delete Reshade Dll' box and click Install/update. Wait for the process to finish then on MO2 make sure that next to the 'Run' button, you change the 'Anomaly Launcher' to 'Anomaly Launcher (DX11)'. After that, click on 'Run' and see if it improves FPS. If not, ring the alarms cause that's the only trick up my sleeve lmao

Quick stupid question. I was following the guide for mags, and it doesn't say to disable the G.A.M.M.A unjam/reload same key mod, but the mags mod itself does. I assume I DO in fact disable that? Just want to make sure I am doing this properly, first run with mags enabled

if you right click the body health mods and go to "information" you can eventually find the tab that shows all the mods that overwrites it, those are the mods that you can probably modify to fix your problem, but it mean you have to open their text files and edit codes. Unless you know how to do that, I wouldn't recommend doing anything else to fix your problem, just revert it back if you don't wanna see a messed up UI

A possible fix for health HUD related 'busyhands' on load/transition:
Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Hello, I'm having a issue with loading times. Until Limansk Mortal sin siege, everything was loading relatively fast. But during and after that transions from zones, quicksaving, loading and basically anything that needs loading screen is unbearably slower. Tried running regular Anomaly and didnt help. Any ideas? Hey all, this is starting to get annoying as there is little to no information to help me out. Recently, And I cannot tell exactly when, my NVG stopped working. They are extremely dark and grainy. Pretty much useless. I don't know if it was after the latest update or not that broke it.

When I change the gain settings in the MCM, nothing happens at all. I played around with all options and the only one that really affects them is the bloom for the daylight. I tried reinstalling but same thing. Tried spawning in new NVGs and they are all broken. When I look through them at daytime I can see very clear as if it was night. The NVGs are what I use alot and one of the reasons I'm playing. Really immersion breaking.

Below arethree photos, one at the darkest setting of the NVG and the brightest. And one at day. Anyone experiencing this issue at all?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list to make sure everyone has the same things, everything goes back to default when you update or you do a complete installation, it's normal.

The busyhands is the name of a bug that among other things prevents the player from interacting with objects or the weapons player holds.

If you can't:

• open your inventory

• transition between locations

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Just ran an update and it seems that SSS isn’t working atm. The lack of weapon DOF is how I noticed it. DOF in the regular setting is enabled, and cannot be disabled for some reason.

Been running nicely up until this point. Anyone run into this issue?

You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.

3) Search SSS Settings.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

I got Professor Semenov's mutant hunting quest and during our travels, he seems to have spawned inside the ground. I can hear his footsteps, but I cannot see him. He appears on the map, and when I use the J command to teleport him to me, his marker and ghost footsteps spawn near me, but the character model is nowhere to be found. I tried using the console to target him and/or kill/delete him but I cannot since he is a "story NPC." Does anyone have any advice for solving this?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.
