Can I get some help please? I have tried standard GAMMA Modpack and with the optional mods, I have reinstalled GAMMA multiple times, I have tried going back to older saves, every time I go to Rostok which is where my main stash is, the game crashes. Hey all, got a small issue that I’ve been putting up with for a bit but figured I’d come here to see if anyone has a solution.

Currently I’m running an MP-133 that’s in great condition besides a damaged pump. Very infrequently, but often enough to be a nuisance, when my pump has a jam and my character does the animation of lowering the shotgun off screen to fix the issue, the shotgun sometimes doesn’t come back up, and I lose the ability to use any of my weapons, not even my knife. I’m just stuck with my hands down and off screen.

I’ve tried un-equipping and re-equipping, switching to another gun in the MP-133’s slot, dropping the gun completely, and stashing it, however at the moment the only solution seems to be reloading a save.

Before I give Ironman a shot I’d like to find a better solution for this, in case it reoccurs. Anyone have the same problem or have an answer for said problem? I really appreciate it

I've been playing gamma for the past two months at 80 frames on some of the highest settings. 1) Open the game

3) Search SSS Settings

Uh no actually. After an hour of trouble shooting the reason DOF kept turning itself back on I found out disabling shaders cumulative shader pack solved this and it wouldnt force itself back on anymore. As far as I can tell DOF is STILL ON despite disabling it in every way possible.

I am having an issue with my save files as a lot of different things have seemingly broken themselves. A list of what I currently have issues with are that my companions no longer show up on the side of my screen in the companion window, the psy bar is broken and no longer showing the correct value, my stamina bar no longer works and does not go down when running, all of my missions that I had active get autocompleted without me doing them, and my PDA gets fuzzy and almost unreadable when used. I have tried to load earlier saves which fixes the missions issue but all other issues still persist. I caused this by loading a save over and over again because one of the lost signal missions for darkscape was bugged and I had to try and load in the missing bodies which did eventually work. However a few more saves later and now I am having the problems as previously described. If somebody could help me fix the issue it would be greatly appreciated. If you need any of my save files or logs please let me know.

Its a mod keybind setting. Go to mod config settings in the pause menu or title screen and look for the free zoom thing. Change the keybind there. Idk how to fix the stuttering prob though

So, i've had a bit of a search around, seen a few various fixes for stuttering, nothing seems to have even slightly made a dent, and it seems solely CPU based, since it's slamming just the one core.

It's pretty rough, like 1-2 second freezes every 10-15 seconds. This was never an issue last time I played Gamma, around a year or so ago. Nothing has changed hardware wise... Are there any particular tips for specific settings or things to lower to reduce the CPU load and hopefully work on the stutters? I've turned on the stutter mod, done the CPU affinity fix, set up triple buffering in the NVIDIA settings, turned on prefetch sounds, and have tried multiple different DX versions.

Just at a bit of a loss, taken me a few days to get this going, and I can't even really get the same experience I got when I last played.

Probably also worth noting my framerate is absolutely fine in-between these stutters, also issue persists with and without V-sync, framerate limiter, etc

Hey... so, I accidently went down to the lab in Yantar. I went through the whole lab and got to the end where you have the command to activate switch. Turns out I don't have the quest for it? So I can't actually turn it off, nothing happens when i click F. Not only that but I'm stuck down there. The ladder back is too high up I can't jump and reach it. So question. Myself and a friend are doing a Gamma run together and we both were running into a DOF problem. I found that if i disabled the SSS settings and turned the sliders all down to 0 my problem went away. They did the same thing and while aiming their screen still blurs. Turning DOF off in settings does nothing because it just comes back on.

Any thoughts?

My plan for the next update is to focus on three things:

• Free loot coordinates in most maps. This will take a while, but it will completely change how players visit the Zone: checking buildings will actually matter in all maps. I know it will slowdown the update process of so many other things, but I can't conceive GAMMA 1.0 without that feature that will have a huge impact on how the game should be played. This will thus be my priority for the next update.

So this means that right now there's no usefulness in wandering in the map, looking for loot, because i won't find any stashes or items laying around?
So, to make an example, if i find an unexplored (for me) building, it is useless to explore it if i don't have any business in it?

To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like a console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the rest.

Yeah they went and did that. We both shut off SSS settings all the way. I watched them do it on stream and they were still having the issue.

My game crashes if I tweak the graphics/visual settings. Once it has crashed with the windows error sound. It never launches again and always has the windows error sound after splash screen from mod organizer. Then unless i reinstall the whole game it doesn't launch. Do you have any idea what might be happening here. Also is there a way for me to reset the game to its default settings to then try and tweak the graphics again to find out a stable setting for my pc without breaking the launch process. I have a 3070ti and play on 1440p. Your work is truly appreciated and im just hoping perhaps you might have some idea with the issue im facing

To bring your keybinds to default, DON'T press the default button in the menu, you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1. Go in GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)

Hi Falco, thank you for your support, is there a method to bring the in-game settings especially visual (since they seem to be breaking the launch for me) back to 'default' especially if the game is not launching and always there is a windows error sound when i press run from mod organizer

The guide also said to remove shader files and dll, tho it was uploaded in october, so I hope I didnt ruin my game
