Explanation to your problem:
Those upgrades are from Anomaly vanilla, you shouldn't see them, because GAMMA have different stuff. There is a mod that change the "vanilla" upgrades into "modded" upgrades.
Follow this guide and the problem will be fixed.

1. Open the game

you can try opening console and typing r2_dof_enable off. messing with settings broke my game so i think the only safe way for now is this command. if you open settings again or alt tab it will get re-enabled so you will have to do it again

Tonemapper probably bugged out completely after you interacted with weather editor...
And that goes beyond my knowledge of mods.

Not a suggestion, but at that point i would personally would have nuked it all and installed everything fresh, with new game to boot.

I think the weapons on the modpack didn't download correctly because every once and a while I will get a fatal error about some ak model not found or some m4 model. I found out it was in the wrong mode for my type of computer but I fixed it by switching over to DX11-AVX mode

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Does anyone know how to disable the weird fish eye lens effect? I'm assuming it's a depth of field effect so I disabled all the weapon DOF stuff in the mod settings but it wont let me disable depth of field under the advanced video settings. Every time I try it just reactivates even though it says settings saved. I even tried disabling it through the console commands. Checked FAQ first didn't see anything on the topic.

I'm getting a weird visual effect where it looks like I have a low-power flashlight on at all times. There's a smallish circle in the center of my screen that gets brighter and dimmer seemingly at random. Kinda looks like you had a broken headlamp on that keeps getting stronger and then weaker. Also I can control it by changing where I'm standing or looking, so it kind of seems like a weird sun ray or lens flare glitch.

I've seen people set this to their preferred DX instead of the launcher. I'm running the launcher first so I can prefetch sounds since I've heard it helps performance. Does Gamma mo2 automatically prefetch sounds which means I don't need to run the launcher anymore?

Having a really hard time launching GAMMA. I can start a new game, pick my load out and start, itll load then crash and i get a fatal error. Ive looked all over and have tried multiple things to fix the issue and no luck. Ive even deleted everything and did everything all over again.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

To do so:
1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. installer as admin
2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Hey I did find a way to kinda fix it - I just turned off my antivirus (BitDefender) as I saw one of it's .dll files in the crash dump so I thought of disabling it, and when I ran G.A.M.M.A., it launched and is running perfectly fine.

Did as instructed, and booted in dx 11 based on anomaly's launcher with the same issue. This occurs only on the storm weather setting (Both of em) during lightning in debug mode. Could it be a shader or broken weather file? I literally reinstalled gamma and anomaly 10 minutes ago and did nothing. So far ev erything else is perfect. The only way to stop the effect is to open the weather editor

Edit: Emissions lightning do not have this issue

I am not sure why I have been suing default modlist never CTD no issues at all everything is on right. So the butcher in garbage even at start of the game everything I sell him is for the exact base cost. Which doesn't make sense because not a single other trader works this way, I feel weird about it because If I try to sell say a under barrel grenade launcher in early game to anyone I'd get maybe like 5k at most? its worth like 25k base and if I go to butcher he will just give me 25k so anything I sell to him gives exact price and it makes all other traders fairly obsolete to sell to.

I checked the data dump given from one of these types of situations, (I had the same problem as you), and it turns out that my Anti-Virus ran 2 .dll files when I launched G.A.M.M.A. via MO2. I disabled my anti-virus to see if it would have any effect on the launch and it did. All I did after was add an exception to "E:\Anomaly\bin\AnomalyDX11.exe" in the anti-virus and then you can launch G.A.M.M.A. with your anti-virus open.

Hey Guys, I have a slight Problem and wanted to ask if somebody knows a fix? I use a M4A1 RAS with Underbarell M203 and Specter RMR as scope. Tho every time I switch to my grenade launcher my scope freezes and I cant zoom in and out anymore with the scroll wheel. Does anybody know a fix for it? Has anyone had radio search missions that supposed to find corpses instead find the group of stalkers you were supposed to find alive?

I was walking around (with body dots on minimap mod enabled) and I saw a bunch of body dots moving around on the map after an emission. I went over and found the spot the radio was leading me to, but no bodies. I followed the body dots and found they were still alive walking around. I shot one in the head, took his PDA and turned it in for the reward. I don't abide no spooks.

By the way, I was able to "fix" my issue with the RF Receiver Quests as Sin faction ... since the first packet was in Outskirts all I needed was the Psyhelmet ... Sakharov was so friendly and handed me one over after I put a bullet in his brain (which was almost the last one left, Hatchet was a pain to get rid of)).

Ok i managed to rectify it. It seems that i did not open the installer in administrator mode, because once i did it and installed gamma addons, i downloaded several shader files which were never there before.

Grok, you might wanna alter the instructions in the update section of the discord to remind ppl to open the installer as an administrator even for Updates and not just initial installation only. It solved the blinding light issue
