In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

Well the only things i changed was switching the lean left/right and switch run and walk hotkex (shift/x). After loading the game everything works as u would expect but after some gunfights, running around and looting suddenly they just stop working until reload (usually happens after 5-10 minutes of gameplay) Also in the beginning of the game it didnt happen at all, now im im mid/lategame and it constantly happens every few minutes

Hi, I'm currently in Cordon and everytime I go to fight the little military outpost there at some point my game freezes (but not the computer) and I need to pull up task manager to be able to close GAMMA down. Upon doing so there's a pop up error window that says FATAL ERROR but doesn't specify what actually happened. I had a look at my .text in logs and it looks like it crashes when the game can't load a certain entity? I can send the logs (and/or just the excerpt where it states WHY it crashed) 🙏

@high salmon Ignore the A-life respawn. It just stops smart terrain respawns and kill all common squads might fail a bunch of quest for ya, so finish random people quests if the "kill all common squads" fixes the issue

If you disabled A-life respawns, enable it again

also, If I'm understanding the game properly, you might have to pass time for a day or two to repopulate the Zone with random NPCs

Hello, I have an issue with loading time and inventory management. Loading time takes 2-5minutes for level transition and initial load. Moving items from anything, like dead bodies into my backpack causes game freezes for 0.5-1 sec. GAMMA was updated with clean install, I did spring cleaning on my base stashes thinking that I had too much loot that causes this, but nothing changed.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

I'm having an issue with the PU scope on an SKS. When I attach the scope and zoom in, I get the following image. If I move the mouse, and exit scope, I can see that my camera is following that movement, but this overlay on the scope essentially makes it unusable. Haven't tried with other scopes yet. Is there a fix for this?

EDIT: A restart of the game fixed this for me. It may be related to having pending graphics settings changes that required a game restart.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

I am having an issue with loner reputation. I started as a loner, have a good reputation (i.e. several quests complete), I have not killed any loners, I have 2 tourists following me. Earlier today Rookie village all agrod as soon as I was within sight. I loaded a prior save (2hr before) to where I was in rookie village and not being murdered on site. Not sure what happened between, except one of my tourists had died (maybe by me accidentally?). Now after replaying from that good save, I now have made my way to the other Cordon trader, and everyone there murders me on site! What am I doing wrong here???

No, no patches on me, we are all good in reputation with each other. I just tried using debug, and was eventually able to calm them down. Then after dying and reloading a save, they all hate me again. The save was made after they callmed down via debug. BTW, I had to go into debug, and spam increase goodwill with squad and eventually they chilled.
