Okay look, busyhands is an umbrella term where the user, referred in game as player, has trouble with interaction states. If your state is "dead", NPCs will ignore you completely, hostile or not. You may have trouble completing quests with that as well, where the game checks for your physical "alive" state body for coordinates

i'm contacting you actually because i sorta ran into an issue that was beyond me and the helper menippos to deal with. short version i'm trying to swap from freedom faction to loners. sid doesn't have a dialogue option for it, and even using debug i can't select the loners, clear sky, bandits, or mercs. i can however change to mercs sky and bandits via the normal dialogue so duno what the debugs deal is. i even tried making a new freedom character and running straight to the loners to see if sid would offer me a dialogue option to join, but no good. i'm unsure how to proceed.

I have a bit of a complex issue. On my main save I have run into two intertwined problems. Sometimes when I die I drop a stash and respawn at the last place I slept, but the majority of the time my character is unable to die and my health gets reset to 100% whenever it hits 0%. Believe the cause of both of these was having ironman roguelite enabled in the mod configuration (despite the fact it is not enabled in MO2). Having made a new character, he died like normal after disabling ironman roguelite in the mod config. I was wondering then if there is anyway to unfuck my main playthrough since even reverting to saves where i could still die death would just spawn a stash.

it's random, you could try enabling debug mode and change the weather to the type you want on the go

There is a rare known bug on killing important NPCs. IE Mechanics Traders or Medics. If its happening when you kill them, use debug kill or come back later and do again. If its happening on loot, dont loot them.

Well I don't know if this is the right thread to talk about this and I apologise if it is, but I found this game-crashing bug when trying to upgrade your binoculars by opening the workshop with tools from your inventory, if you hover your mouse on the required toolkit (0 in red) box, your game crashes, if anyone wants to try it out to see if it's just me or for everybody it would be helpful I guess, oh I and also lost the basic tools I had in the inventory for some reason

For my FPS issue, where the game has been running fine but is now unplayable with nothing changed, some people have suggested AA settings. The AA settings are no longer doing anything - previously I could run on 8xAA because it was much sharper and it seemed to cost me only 1 or 2 fps. Now, if I try turning AA down to zero, it doesn't change visually - the game still appears to have AA enabled even when I disable it.

@prime fulcrum That sounds correct and I'll try, but for real, yesterday I was using the normal menu AA settings. On 0 or 2X, there were visual jaggies. On 8X, the image was sharper. The FPS hit was 1 or 2, or nothing. I played for several hours on 8X with no FPS issues. Only the usual stuff like stuttering from campfires.

So the crash on killing the trader is a known issue right now. I'm not sure we have found a fix yet. You can try a few times and might get a kill without a crash. If you have companions you can usually let one of them kill the trader and there is no crash (that is how I got past the error myself)

I have a 3080 TI and the only time I've ever seen it go above 80% usage is in Gamma. Gamma just really likes to push your hardware to the limits, and that could be causing the issues related to crashing his computer.
