NPCs in my game are acting like I have a disguise on at any given time. Enemies ignore me until I loiter around too close to them, and even then most of them won't shoot at me, and sometimes they'll even de-aggro while I'm shooting at them. Is this Stalker being Stalker, or is there actually something wrong? Because I've never had this happen before on such a large and consistent scale.

Save file should be good. I think you'd want to do a full install to be safe (remember it doesn't download stuff it already has so it's pretty quick).

@candid iron if you really need to record, then try using nvidia shadowplay, if you have geforce experience you should be able to use it by pressing Alt+Z, if you don't then just download Geforce Experience and you will be able to do that.

Sorry, it's just made to run on DX11, if your computer can't even run that, then not much can be done.

Try DX10, see if that works, i'm pretty sure DX9 doesn't.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them. These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill, you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.
You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.

Inside these stashes you can find toolkits.

In the south part of the Zone (everywhere UNDER Red Forest) is where you'll find Basic and Advanced.
In the north part of the Zone (INSIDE Red Forest and ONLY NORTH from there) is where you'll find Expert, along the other two.
You also have the gunsmithing toolkit, which is used to craft ammunition of all kinds and you also have the drug making kit, used to create drugs and medicines.

Depending on the location, north or south:
White stashes have a small chance of finding ANY toolkit inside, this means that you can find ONE basic/advanced/expert toolkit OR a gunsmithing toolkit OR a drug making toolkit.
Green stashes have a 100% chance of finding ONE toolkit from this specific pool: Basic, Gunsmithing or Drug Making kit. Advanced and Expert are random and depend on the area the stash spawned in.

You need to add your magazine to your loadout right click it and you should see it. If its a large magazine you wont be able to until you get a good enough armor. For me i could use small magazines from the start even without armor the basic armor for loners can accept medium magazines.

Okay you can also do it in the inventory by right clicking on it and the option would show if it was jammed. Only other thing i can think of is that you dont have ammo in the gun and the magazines you are using as a part of your loadout are the wrong type or something but that would not make sense as you said you started a brand new save.

I think thats a known issue and i fixed it by switching to 7zip if you have not already and reinstall the game. I was using winrar and it made things a bit funky.

Not to interrupt you guys but weird question I just noticed it today, anyone else ever have an issue when using the backpack animation, where it seems any time after I use my inventory and open the backpack afterwards when crouching it causes frame drops, I've noticed it recently and confirmed that when crouching after the backpack my fps drops more each time I crouch, game runs like butter, but the crouching kills me, otherwise the animation is usually fine up until using my inventory then after it almost "stutters" when crouching (Unless it's just a low FPS animation to which I'd understand) but was curious if anyone else ever had that same.

How do I get the green-marked stashes? I've had 4 of them appear on my map and on each one, I got to the spot where it's supposed to be at, and there's nothing there.

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them. These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill, you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.
You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.

Inside these stashes you can find toolkits.

In the south part of the Zone (everywhere UNDER Red Forest) is where you'll find Basic and Advanced.
In the north part of the Zone (INSIDE Red Forest and ONLY NORTH from there) is where you'll find Expert, along the other two.
You also have the gunsmithing toolkit, which is used to craft ammunition of all kinds and you also have the drug making kit, used to create drugs and medicines.

Depending on the location, north or south:
White stashes have a small chance of finding ANY toolkit inside, this means that you can find ONE basic/advanced/expert toolkit OR a gunsmithing toolkit OR a drug making toolkit.
Green stashes have a 100% chance of finding ONE toolkit from this specific pool: Basic, Gunsmithing or Drug Making kit. Advanced and Expert are random and depend on the area the stash spawned in.

Dunno then, they changed how found pda works now. In anomaly to check pda of a dead enemy you was supposed to equip it first and then look in it, now they made it you can watch it from inventory without equipping, char just opens it when you double click it, but i only saw strange thing like disappearing only when not using 3d pda, which is not the case for you.

Hi, I really love the game but there is one thing that is driving me nuts: When going to a new area sometimes you spawn in the middle of a bunch of enemies. In addition to that, it also happens that the enemies are behind you when I spawn in the new area. If I eliminate the enemies I cannot even loot them because going towards the fallen Stalkers causes me going back to the previous area. Is there a way to turn this off? So no spawning in the middle of enemies when going to a new area?

Thats actually very small chance to be in this lol, maybe you just unlucky. and no you cant turn this off, because stalkers travel around the zone and game simulates it, so you basically travel when they want to travel to and you met.
