ModDB is currently struggling to keep up with download demand. If your installer is running but showing errors, wait for it to finish.
Unfortunately we have no ability to address the issue. Errors in the installer for now are normal when downloading, slow download speeds should be expected.

G.A.M.M.A., IN GENERAL, can be downloaded in 30 minutes, maybe 1 hour.
This, of course, is when we don't have a big YT channel with 1.50mln subscribers that makes a video about the mod pack AND an update for a mod that is comparable to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Since this stuff happened in the span of TWO DAYS, you'll have to be patient. Or just don't download G.A.M.M.A. for now and try again in few days.

hey, was helped a bit with this last night, but I'm still getting stutters. tried everything I was recommended to do with !stutter, and also turned off core 0 on the task manger affinity, which does actually make it much more playable, as it was imo unplayable before. but still stutters every 10-15ish seconds, small stutters coming in clusters, or just one big one for like a whole second, very annoying. also going into my task manager and manually turning off core 0 every single time I boot up is going to get very annoying.

Hello! I was doing the Explorer(scientists quest line) and one of them dr pirogov got killed somehow! If you followed the steps to update, it should have resolved that. The previous "fix" was Load your save, open options menu and change your fov and hud fov a bit > apply changes. Then change your mouse sensitivity > apply changes. Save game. Then try shooting.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

hey, was helped a bit with this last night, but I'm still getting stutters. tried everything I was recommended to do with !stutter, and also turned off core 0 on the task manger affinity, which does actually make it much more playable, as it was imo unplayable before. but still stutters every 10-15ish seconds, small stutters coming in clusters, or just one big one for like a whole second, very annoying. also going into my task manager and manually turning off core 0 every single time I boot up is going to get very annoying.

Really any animation can do it, just happens sometimes. The addon animations just tend to do it more I guess. Just go back a save and it will be gone, unless you saved with busy hands.

not sure if this is right place to ask, but It seems that "progression difficulty" sliders does not work for me e.g. I have 100% good gun and I can't sell it - says "too broken to be sold". So I thought it is just trader config is that they don't buy guns. Change it to 1% in config and still all traders says that none of my guns are good for sale, despite having 11-100% durability. I was in dark alley met like 30 cats, 40 dogs, 15-20 pigs and hogs, few bloodsuckers and 7 izloms. next dark valley met me with instaspawn nearby of 5 hogs and pigs, 1 buhrer and controller, 3 pseudodogs and 1 lurker. next truck cemetry on the spot where pseudogiant spawn were a pseudogiant a controller, a buhrer, a bloodsucker, 4 snorks, and few pseudodogs on top of 3 swines.

AVX allows the CPU to process calculations normally handled by the GPU. Although in most cases this is a performance boost, since you are often using the GPU to its fullest to get frames and not touching a good portion of the multi-core CPU, X-Ray uses only ONE core.
So, in plain english, if you have a beefy GPU, it's better to NOT use AVX.

2. i got the head error that i have fixed by applying patch files
3. got the game running
4. got low fps so i went to menu and graphic settings
5. everything went fine got stable 60fps
6. went to graphic settings again to tune everything

Had 3080Ti and 6900XT at the same time and decided to sell 3080Ti, it was ~2% faster but absolute jet engine (FE card). Had to manually set fan curve to max out at 90C and it would sit about there all the time 80C/80% fan, idles at 60C+... vs 6900XT which is Strix WC... runs at 34C idle and without fans even running and never goes past 54-56C even at full load and fans just barely running (20-30%). And as well 3080Ti was tripping OVP/OCP on my Corsair AX860i... it was better GPU, but just damn oven!

If it's a laptop, then the issue could be the game is using your integrated graphics instead of your dedicated one

hey, was helped a bit with this last night, but I'm still getting stutters. tried everything I was recommended to do with !stutter, and also turned off core 0 on the task manger affinity, which does actually make it much more playable, as it was imo unplayable before. but still stutters every 10-15ish seconds, small stutters coming in clusters, or just one big one for like a whole second, very annoying. also going into my task manager and manually turning off core 0 every single time I boot up is going to get very annoying. anybody have any idea what's causing it?

Don't know if this will help anyone else but I was able to solve by stutter problems by installing DXVK. I had been having massive stutters despite having a beefy pc, the no stutter mod did not help. I switched to my ssd which reduced the length of stutters but did not eliminate them. After installing DXVK I have more consistent fps and zero stutters so far. I was also able to keep shaders by installing reshade for Vulkan.

Just randomly- I started in Rostok, started yesterday. Play the military crew, I always exit (Cause of my save) towards the uh Yantar side, towards dead city for the mission with the sergeant.

I can walk all the way from general, to colonel, fuck around in Arena at the rad bars, and then walk to exit towards the Westernmost (The one before yantar, in Rostok).

That's like a solid 10-15 minutes, then I'll get stutter'ed .25secs to 1 second of stutt.

Well, try to run the game with task manager open, see if the games drop ram usage when that happens, if so, then it's the game doing it, if not, then it's a problem.

If the ram usage drops, it's something like garbage collection, and there is probably nothing we can do, if not, then it could be some weird issue.

If you run the game later, when following the #old-how-to-install and it doesn't run, or crashes, check the Anomaly folder, for AppDate folder > Logs > find the log with your name, with the ending extension .logs.

nope i dont even know how to launch it. there are no launcher options. only thing i can find is under bin is AnomalyDX8, AnomalyDX8AVX, AnomalyDX9, ect.

@karmic helm - if you read previously in the "What you need" you should have a two seperate folders you already premade to prepare to Install/Extract.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Extract the zip, you'll have a folder
3. Open the folder
4. COPY the content of this folder
5. PASTE the content of this folder inside your Anomaly folder
6. Overwrite everything when asked to do so
7. Open the installer with admin rights
8. Click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data AND THEN CLICK Full G.A.M.M.A. Installation
