I can't remember what your reshade starts with but I disabled Levels, sometimes enable/disable VIbrance and most visually impactfull is i've added Blooming_HDR ( and tweaked it to my liking)

Levels is an effect mostly there to balance nights if I remember correctly, as otherwise they're slightly too bright for my taste, as for vibrance yeah, personal choice, but people can feel free to check, uncheck whatever they want as long as they don't call for help afterward xD

doesn't work with vanilla guns + weapons pack for anomaly

theres very few weapons + you need to redo all npcs loadout to avoid them spawning with vanilla guns and assign them only the gunslinger ones, otherwise the animation for them will break and they won't ever draw the weapon

So, for anyone with a high end PC, another user suggested you can rename your exe to something like "eurotruck2.exe", this will unlock Nvidia Freestyle to be used. The new Freetstyle also adds a feature called "SSRTGI", which basically adds raytracing to the game. You can fine tune all that, which i tried last night. Yeah, my Reshade alone can take 20+ fps, and RTGI/SSRTGI takes the same I'd say

Heres another example how SSRTGI adds depth to close field: First picture is "off", while the second is "on"

Especially if you check the wooden structures and global illumination being cast

It's hard to say from the screenshot but I think you can get the same result with RTGI for cheaper

I'm starting to fuck around with rtgi now, it's pretty cool. not using that much yet tho, need to do more testing

I got my reshade to only 2-3 fps perf hit so I'm pretty happy with it

A good tip for reshade performance if anyone cares, try to use less color correction nodes, they do pile up. Use effects like lightroom for instance that have a lot of controls in one node

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
