How to use Fast travel?

1. Make sure that the "Areas" marker in PDA above the map is disabled;
2. Right click on the desired icon on the map (looks like blue house icon);
3. Select Fast travel to : desired location or Hire a guide to : desired location.
   Note. Moving with a guide ignores overload debuffs, wounds, etc.

In Debug Mode you can teleport to stashes, level transitions and other map spots by enabling in MCM settings -> Fair Fast Travel -> Allow travel to debug markers, and then by right-clicking on them on your PDA.

How to change fast travel cost, time and other settings?

• When in game, press MCM settings -> Fair Fast Travel -> Fair Fast Travel / Backpack Travel / Guide Travel -> Cost in rubles per meter traveled by 0. Same with Time while travelling if desired.
• There are also General settings where values can be tweaked aswell.

you dont need to have played the trilogy to play gamma, although it does add some context to some of the stuff that happens. I suggest you play the ORIGINAL TRILOGY, not the enhanced edition (it is anything but enhanced lol)
gameplay-wise the original stalkers take a bit of getting used to because of how inaccurate the guns are at the beginning of the game (there are mods for that tho) but at the later stages of the game it is really nice, expect it to be much more arcade than gamma though

Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the other factions.

Assuming you are on the latest version of GAMMA, try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps with stutters or microfreezes:

1. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
2. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
3. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
4. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
5. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
6. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm
7. In game, go to Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collector and increase this bit by bit until microstutters/freezes stop. Default value is 300, people seem to find that 750-800 is the sweet spot, this will depend on your hardware

there is also lots more that went into the building ground of mods that made up anomaly that allowed something like gamma to exist in the first place and i think trying to capture that exact "vibe" is gonna be more difficult than it seems

Stashes are empty by default. Getting stashes is the main way of progressing in GAMMA. White stashes can contain helpful gear, while yellow stashes are guaranteed to have a toolkit in addition to regular stash contents. Stash locations are determined based on where you are when you receive the coordinate, they always generate in or near the area you are currently located.

How to get stash coordinates:

1. Complete tasks (this is the main source of stash coordinates)
2. Loot dead bodies
3. Read looted PDAs (right click -> View them in inventory). If it's locked, go to a mechanic to unlock it
4. Buy coordinates from Sid or Cold (only available in the south)

How to get yellow stashes:

1. Complete 7 tasks
2. Get a stash coordinate afterwards - this can be from any source, e.g. the 8th task, a PDA, looting a body
3. That stash coordinate has a 50% chance to be a yellow stash. If you didn't get it, keep doing step 2 until you get a yellow stash

I am using Ultrawide monitor (with the Ultrawide fix installed - the HUD works fine) and the PDF text is really hard to read / quite crispy. Any fixes for that? I already tried adjusting FOV but that had no impact, I guess there's a different viewmodel FOV or something.
