Stalker is an arcade shooter, its born in the WASD + LMB phase of gaming with a shallow gameplay loop

Anomaly is just a blend of like 8 different addons that retain the misery-like vibe (or semi-hardcore)
EFP keeps it as such and adds more elements, GAMMA more or less streamlines various mechanics and makes it softcore-ish/easier
