You start in the swamps at 8am, you're given a whole camp of npc's that give you jobs in the actual location instead of being sent to army warehouses by sid

Immediately you get a eco guiding task, the initial last dawn start with the scanner, a location clearing in the pump station along with mutant clearings and renegade/bandit boops
if lucky you might get a document task in the swamps/cordon or agroprom

Completing all of those gives you:

• money for ammo and other expenses
• army medkits, ibuprofen, morphine
• renegade loot which may include a TOZ-194 that's used to get basic tools along with any other guns they carry
• task completions towards your first yellow stash

First step done, now you can accept another location clearing along with other tasks such as the eco sample task
More renegade loot, more meds, a belt device from the eco and more task completions/stashes

Third location clearing, now you're getting military gear
5.45's, semi-auto shotguns, 9x39's

Reward? Gunsmithing tools, one of the early game clutches when it comes to ammo

All of that with still some time left before it's nighttime
a short hike to Rookie Village to turn in the TOZ-194 or maybe open up a yellow stash or two
basic tools most likely obtained at this time

you craft your set of T1 NV's, you can fix up any B kit gun you might've stashed away

You can use this opportunity to move up north, hit up Rostok and grind tasks there (i prefer moving from Swamps to Agroprom Underground, pass that and then make my way to Rostok)

You should have about 1500 rank which opens up 6 arena fights, yet another money opportunity

Now in addition to whatever you completed down south you have a whole array of Rostok tasks that aren't gated by cooldowns

More loot, more money, better tools
It's a win-win

An ongoing bug causes some stashes to spawn on random objects, anomalies or NPC's, resulting in the loss of any items they might've held.

To identify if the stash is indeed bugged you can do this:

1. Disable Areas above the PDA Map to remove white circles around locations
2. Right Click the stash marker on your PDA Map
3. Select Set Waypoint
4. Right Click the waypoint you just added
5. Select Waypoint Settings
6. Enable Show waypoints marker on HUD
7. Press OK
8. The on-screen waypoint will point towards the stash

If you want to optimize Screen Space Shaders:

MCM > SSS Settings:
Post-Process > Bloom - OFF (turn all sliders to the left other than threshold)

Shadows and Light - Force Volumetric OFF, Volumetric Intensity to 0, Volumetric Quality to VERY LOW
SSR - OFF (turn all sliders to the left)
SSS - Low Quality for Directional and Omni Lights

Optional fps boosts but with a visible graphical downgrade:
Ambient Occlusion - OFF (2-5fps boost)
Indirect Light - OFF (2fps boost)
Post-Process > TAA - OFF (5-10fps boost)
