2k25 being my first ever 2k to grind out a season after feeling like I’m actually good at the game, is really really sad. The game had the nerve to say they want to make it fair for everyone but everytime I’m one point away from winning any game, RNG always plays a role to be against me any chance they get. But when I’m losing terribly RNG never benefits me, and my skill level always suffer severely because of 2k deciding not to let me win. Rec isn’t any better either when I barely get the ball to actually play
I honestly wished I did had a console earlier to experience all the other 2k’s but I never will. And on top of that gta 6 being delayed for another year which means I’m stuck playing this bs game for another year makes me lose interest in ever touching my console again

But NBA 2K25 was more than just a game to me—it was my escape, my grind, my peace after a long day. I put in hours daily. I built my slasher PG with love and precision. 93 Driving Dunk Gold Poster (HOF +1) Spent nearly $850 over the year—on boosts, animations, gear. This build was mine. It was personal. Then Patch “V7.0” dropped. No warning. No honesty. Just vague notes like “addressed off-ball movement” while my slasher became useless overnight. Now I’m missing wide-open dunks. Momentum’s gone. Quick Drops don’t even trigger. My favorite part of the game? Silently nerfed. This ain’t about losing a few games. This is about losing faith in a game I loved. A game that meant something to me. A game that took my money and then changed the rules. And what hurts even more? Nobody’s really talking about it. Slashers like me are just supposed to accept it. Like we’re disposable. Like our playstyle isn’t valid anymore. 2K—why would you do this without telling us? We’re not asking for perfection. We’re asking for transparency, for respect, for the ability to play the build we paid for. I’m not even sure if I’ll load the game up again. Right now, I just feel defeated. This was my favorite game. And you broke it.
