The trick to beat those people is to jump (or double jump if your character has a bad jump like Jason) and then land on them with an aerial. Most lower skilled Shaggy players will try to use kick to get out of the corner and you can destroy them for it

I don't know what happened but after this mid season patch it seems shaggy's jab jab down tilt jab jab became a lot more consistent

it works on a lot more characters without dodging too
