Ah then yeah for sure an issue. Just make sure to report it(as I already did too) just so they get more reports of it. Unknown Worlds are great devs so they will definitely address and fix any crossplay/multiplayer issues as Early Access goes on and even post full launch too. :)

It's kind of funny the devs have gone out of their way to make things (like flares and portable containers) useful when I've gone out of my way to avoid using them in former games. Having far less inventory than previous games is among the first things I noticed.

guys i have an idea for like a new vehicle what if it was like a miniature version of a cyclops that had just a engine bay a storage bay and the driving bit but the storage bay could be swapped out into different bays for example a fabricator bay that has like a basic fabricator and the machine that makes the ingots or you could swap it out to a hybrid bay where it has one fabricator one storage unit and a compacted version of the reprinting machine that spawns you that could be in the wall or smth or a multi person bay that hold 2 more players so you could transport them but when you leave the vehicle you can like get these tubes that feeds oxygen to you for a certain range and then they disconnect

I actually think most things don't do enough damage for me to seriously worry about them, they're mostly just annoying. Stuff like the leeches or whatever in the infected areas do, and have a way to counter them. Imo most of the regular fauna needs a damage buff.

That's why the ascend and descend buttons didn't bother you. I'm used to the way they're mapped in Subnautica 1 and BZ. But in S2 they're reversed. Its really offputting if you're use to it the other way via hundreds of hours of gameplay.

If you have the recommanded driver, I run on 40-60FPS with high on Balanced DLSS (3050, 2560x1440), so I guess that you should upgrade your driver, restart your game / entire pc and else check other specs (like your motherboard, your CPU, your RAM etc...) also check if you don't have many other things running on your PC and optimize all that :)

That's the intel CPU problem. Faulty hardware I'm afraid, needs to be returned to intel for a replacement. Oodle is usually the first place it fails but it'll start failing in other places soon

I couldn’t report this bug as it stopped me from even being able to open the menu but after the scene that played when activating the last adaptarion my game became soft locked and absolutely no input worked, this resulted in needing to alt + f4 (thankfully it did auto save and I did not lose any progress)

Okay I now believe we need at least a knife to fend off fauna in this game, me and my friend built a base in the biome with hammerheads and put our Tadpole into a dock, they stand below the moonpool trying to attack it, they can't deal damage but it's annoying. heat is pretty far away so you need alot of power transmitters all that for not so worth it power
