Now after playing the first "chapter" of the game, all i can say is...wow..just wow. Absolute masterpiece so far (of course there are edges which need to be cut and polished, as with every EA game) everything from Visuals to story, building etc. pure joy and a blast to play. my mouth was open the whole time, either from screaming out of fear to pure gushing over the visuals and biomes. Yeah the entire game is the same speed as below zero, like said many times, making the player slower doesn't make the map feel bigger, just more slow and cramped, just make the player faster and have it so I can actually look above the water

What I did was I built some turbines, then I built a power transmitter in the water between the turbines and my base. A green line showed up, then I kept going until I got to my base. I put one directly ON my base, attached to it, and that did it.

The games get more irritating (and grindy) than enjoyable to me, personally, as we go along. Getting to a point that you're able to eat is fast and not at all hard, but is also kind of pointless as mutation, plus the sheer aggravation of constantly eating and drinking thereafter. The day/night cycle and rate of food & drink consumption always has been too fast for me. Someone tried to create a mod for former games that allowed you to control that, but iirc, it didn't work all that well. Hopefully, UW will consider settings on the main menu for things like that in the future.
