Its very similar to satisfactory. Place the power source (hydroelectric jet) in the currents that push you while swimming and then attach them to the base via "power cords" (digital cords in this case) via the transmitters. Just run the blue power cord from the transmitter to the base

I feel like the game needs a bit better optimization, took me 30 minutes to get my game running smooth enough to play, I feel like before you are put into the game, like when you are adjusting light brightness, you should have the option to switch between performance, recommended, or good graphics settings, that would already be presets for you to choose, instead of having to navigate to the settings after you get into the game, adjust settings, then restart the game for changes to work properly

@slim rose @proven marten no what I mean is not getting the fragments that was easy that took me like 10 minutes once I started trying I'm talking about getting the actual crafting ingredients specifically gold because you have to go to the place with volcanoes under water basically to get gold but to go there you need the ||heat adaptation||and to get that you have to find the ||angel comb|| that gives it to you but to actually get it from that ||angel comb|| you have to fight off the ||pustules|| on it I guess those like ||blue flower things|| meanwhile you're being attacked and that's difficult but I feel like I shouldn't need to do all that just to get a single piece of gold to craft the most basic form of the vehicle like for the upgrades and the chassis and stuff maybe but I don't know I just felt like it dragged it on too long

I’m trying to run Subnautica 2 on a laptop with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, but the game instantly gives this error:

“DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.”

What’s confusing is that my GPU DOES support DX12. I checked with dxdiag and my Feature Levels go up to 12_1.

Things I already tried:

Forced High Performance graphics mode in Windows settings

My laptop is around 3 years old, and the GPU is Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Since dxdiag reports Feature Level 12_1, I don’t think the GPU truly lacks DX12 support.

Has anyone else with Intel Iris Xe or integrated graphics had this issue? Is this a launch-day compatibility bug with the Microsoft Store version or Unreal Engine 5?

I've played a good 12 hours today, about half in MP and half solo. Both of my playthroughs ended in the same place so far. Not sure if I'm near the end of EA content or not, don't wanna know rn.

Most of my feedback has just been mechanical wonkery instead of broader game design critique, which is good. Lots of small things that I think need touching up, like adding a delay to when tadpoles dock so you don't get dragged back to the dock on loop in a slightly laggy multiplayer. Small mechanical changes that will probably get ironed out in the long run. Overall the game looks stunning, and is very fun to play. I'm excited to see where the story goes and already can't wait for full release

I wouldn't call it a «able to play». It runs for about three minutes—maybe a minute less, maybe a minute more, maybe instantly. Then crashes without any error message. Following a friend's advice, I tried to find the error using Windows itself, but even there, there's no information about the game crashing. It just closes, and that's it.
