I don’t know why, but the fear is more manageable for me in this game than the original, it feels more like I can survive while aware of my surroundings. I’m an anxiety wreck, so this is a good sign.
If I had any input, it’d be that the larger aggressive creatures actually do some more damage, the ‘bludgeoning fish’ whatever those are called, for example. Idk how much content is in the game atm, but I will be finding that out. Some dialogue doesn’t go perfectly with the written dialogue, and I think a couple lines are missing, but truly, that is all the input I have for now.

I'm hardlocked in the main story I think. ||The game thinks I didn't pick up Wu's blackbox. I got that before going to the main office area, the AI told me Wu would be the best lead, but the game won't let me pick it up again and doesn't register that I already did||

For everyone who can’t play the game because of DirectX 12‼️ issues, this is basically the only solution right now: use NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service GeForce NOW.

If you get the premium membership, you can play up to 6-hour sessions basically how long you want you just gotta restart every 6h with high or even ultra graphics settings while keeping a smooth constant 60 FPS.

Since the game runs on NVIDIA’s servers instead of your own PC, you don’t need DirectX 12 Ultimate support on your hardware. It’s honestly worth the money if you really want to play the game.

Silver: ||You can find silver about 250 Meters north from your lifepod ||
Lead: ||Lead can be found about 300 Meters from your lifepod north east under a shipwreck||
Quarz ||Go North west from the lifepod. Behind a fracture are corals with much quarz on them||
Batteries: ||For batteries you need to knife the thing that gives you the healing gele right under your lifepod.||
Lucifer Rotsac: ||Can be found On top of plants, is glowing orange||
Lithium: ||is In caves in the heat zone||
Gold: ||is In caves in the heat zone, also accasionaly on the floor||
Sulfur: ||go to "Blackbox - Zip" cave||
Salt: ||in the heat zone & in rock spire caves||
Necrolei Cyst: ||About 250 Meters northwest from the lifepod in the blue biom, can be harvested from ontop of the small blue plants||
Heat Mod.: ||150m-200m ne from the lifepod is a destroyed flower that gives you the modification if you repair it.||
How to repair: ||follow the destroyed veins (2 total) and destroy the neon cyan flower things. after that they will be at the huge flower and you need to defeat them once more||
Tadpole: ||1st fragment can be scanned 300 meters nort northwest at a destroyed base. 2nd fragment can be found at the 2nd Blackbox quest. 3th Fragment can be found at "Investigate Tadpole Pens". If you dont have all PDA point just continue in the story.||
Collector Leviathan position: ||from the lifepod go towards "Investigate Tadpole Pens" and if you arrive there keep going for an extra 50M||

hey yall. just started playing the game and my PC is just barely able to handle the game at 60 fps. I have Gtx 1650 gpu, but my monitor has a very small resolution, so its actually fairly confident at handling it at playable fps while still looking good. one issue though is that to initally boot the game up, it takes about 15 minutes to compile the 9k shaders and what not. I'm fine with it being that way if the game is truly peak, but it is a bit annoying. I'm not used to playing early access games, so could this just be growing pains?

Silver: ||You can find silver about 250 Meters north from your lifepod ||
Lead: ||Lead can be found about 300 Meters from your lifepod north east under a shipwreck||
Quarz ||Go North west from the lifepod. Behind a fracture are corals with much quarz on them||
Batteries: ||For batteries you need to knife the thing that gives you the healing gele right under your lifepod.||
Lucifer Rotsac: ||Can be found On top of plants, is glowing orange||
Lithium: ||is In caves in the heat zone||
Gold: ||is In caves in the heat zone, also accasionaly on the floor||
Sulfur: ||go to "Blackbox - Zip" cave||
Alien Enamel: ||Theyre the tusks found on the rock, and those are found at the needlers nests which are Straight East from the lifepod||
Salt: ||in the heat zone & in rock spire caves||
Necrolei Cyst: ||About 250 Meters northwest from the lifepod in the blue biom, can be harvested from ontop of the small blue plants||
Heat Mod.: ||150m-200m ne from the lifepod is a destroyed flower that gives you the modification if you repair it.||
How to repair: ||follow the destroyed veins (2 total) and destroy the neon cyan flower things. after that they will be at the huge flower and you need to defeat them once more||
Tadpole: ||1st fragment can be scanned 300 meters nort northwest at a destroyed base. 2nd fragment can be found at the 2nd Blackbox quest. 3th Fragment can be found at "Investigate Tadpole Pens". If you dont have all PDA point just continue in the story.||
Keycode Tadpole door: ||go to the "Blackbox - Zip" mark on your pda. There are black boxes scathered around and the one ontop of the purple coral has the keycode||
Collector Leviathan position: ||from the lifepod go towards "Investigate Tadpole Pens" and if you arrive there keep going for an extra 50M||

Silver: ||You can find silver about 250 Meters north from your lifepod ||
Lead: ||Lead can be found about 300 Meters from your lifepod north east under a shipwreck||
Quarz ||Go North west from the lifepod. Behind a fracture are corals with much quarz on them||
Batteries: ||For batteries you need to knife the thing that gives you the healing gele right under your lifepod.||
Lucifer Rotsac: ||Can be found On top of plants, is glowing orange||
Lithium: ||is In caves in the heat zone||
Gold: ||is In caves in the heat zone, also accasionaly on the floor||
Sulfur: ||go to "Blackbox - Zip" cave||
Alien Enamel: ||Theyre the tusks found on the rock, and those are found at the needlers nests which are Straight East from the lifepod||
Salt: ||in the heat zone & in rock spire caves||
Necrolei Cyst: ||About 250 Meters northwest from the lifepod in the blue biom, can be harvested from ontop of the small blue plants||
Heat Mod.: ||150m-200m ne from the lifepod is a destroyed flower that gives you the modification if you repair it.||
How to repair: ||follow the destroyed veins (2 total) and destroy the neon cyan flower things. after that they will be at the huge flower and you need to defeat them once more||
Tadpole: ||1st fragment can be scanned 300 meters nort northwest at a destroyed base. 2nd fragment can be found at the 2nd Blackbox quest. 3th Fragment can be found at "Investigate Tadpole Pens". If you dont have all PDA point just continue in the story.||
Keycode Tadpole door: ||go to the "Blackbox - Zip" mark on your pda. There are black boxes scathered around and the one ontop of the purple coral has the keycode||
Repair Tool Fragments: ||1 can be found in the base 300m north north east from the lifepod, 2 more can be found at the "Tadpole Pens"||
Collector Leviathan position: ||from the lifepod go towards "Investigate Tadpole Pens" and if you arrive there keep going for an extra 50M||

1440p all medium settings around 50 fps, with TSR upscaler it's a rock solid 60
no hiccups whatsoever, no tearing

For anyone having Questions, here are some general answers:

Silver: ||You can find silver about 250 Meters north from your lifepod ||
Lead: ||Lead can be found about 300 Meters from your lifepod north east under a shipwreck||
Quarz ||Go North west from the lifepod. Behind a fracture are corals with much quarz on them||
Batteries: ||For batteries you need to knife the thing that gives you the healing gele right under your lifepod.||
Lucifer Rotsac: ||Can be found On top of plants, is glowing orange||
Lithium: ||is In caves in the heat zone||
Gold: ||is In caves in the heat zone, also accasionaly on the floor||
Sulfur: ||go to "Blackbox - Zip" cave||
Alien Enamel: ||Theyre the tusks found on the rock, and those are found at the needlers nests which are Straight East from the lifepod||
Salt: ||in the heat zone & in rock spire caves||
Necrolei Cyst: ||About 250 Meters northwest from the lifepod in the blue biom, can be harvested from ontop of the small blue plants||
Heat Mod.: ||150m-200m ne from the lifepod is a destroyed flower that gives you the modification if you repair it.||
How to repair: ||follow the destroyed veins (2 total) and destroy the neon cyan flower things. after that they will be at the huge flower and you need to defeat them once more||
Tadpole: ||1st fragment can be scanned 300 meters nort northwest at a destroyed base. 2nd fragment can be found at the 2nd Blackbox quest. 3th Fragment can be found at "Investigate Tadpole Pens". If you dont have all PDA point just continue in the story.||
Keycode Tadpole door: ||go to the "Blackbox - Zip" mark on your pda. There are black boxes scathered around and the one ontop of the purple coral has the keycode||
Repair Tool Fragments: ||1 can be found in the base 300m north north west from the lifepod, 2 more can be found at the "Tadpole Pens"||
Collector Leviathan position: ||from the lifepod go towards "Investigate Tadpole Pens" and if you arrive there keep going for an extra 50M||

I know the devs know the optimization is horrible right now. It's been overwhelming feedback. But I feel like even this level is kind of embarassing. I have a 7900xtx and the game is telling me to expect 1440p medium settings at 30fps. Stuff uses either batteries or power cells. You can find chargers for both things and build those chargers in a base (like in SN1)
