Well you arnt supposed to really spam the grapple arm, yes the prawns unit isn't best used for vertical travel, that's why it's supposed to be carried in the cyclops, but for general resource collection and traversal in flat deep areas it's amazing

Huh warpers are usually further away from the spawn and bit deeper. Red guys is a reaper leviathan THE monster of the game kinda. In your screenshot you're in grassy plateaus rn. This biome has a special cave area which is close to spawn try looking there for now ig (tho there're some things that might also want a bite of you)

So far subnutica 2 is very good but some bugs I have run into are the tadpole not going into a bay no matter how large it is and then changing its mind and going in later (we were in deep water and I could walk across the moon pool) and when I take off the the wing things if I have and item on my back to goes flying and spinning, others wise this is probably the visual apealing game I have ever played, has anyone else had any of these bugs

second, you MUST use power sources depending on the biome
third, if you are going for looks, i recommend first placiing a corridor. then slowing piecing larger rooms together
fourth, keep everything simple. too little isnt good, nor is too much. when decorating the interior, add lil signs ever now and to make it look like a seabase, add beds, counters, some decorational stuff.
fifth, make it efficient. maybe have a room for heals (many medkit fabricators), have a room for charging, fabricator you really just can put it on wherever.
sixth, put a keep calm kitty poster
seventh, observatorys also compliment well.
eigth, scenery is important too, when building a base, ask yourself "would i be happy viewing this place from a observatory?

ninth: do it how you like it.

It's up to you ultimately, more power is a good idea but generally the overall asthetic of your base isn't as important as the equipment you put inside of it, you've got the moonpool already so you've got a fantastic start
