Hi. The last Subnautica update was over 2 years ago now, if your performance got worse in the last year or so it's probably not the game it self #announcements message.
That said, you could try reinstalling the game to see if that makes any improvements, if you play on PC and have used mods before make sure you don't have any mod files remaining

On Steam cloud sync is enabled, so that should be fine. If you want to be sure you can download your save files by right clicking the game in your library -> properties -> installed files -> browse and from there you can go into SNAppData -> SavedGames and make a copy of that folder 🙂

I see no difference between the Seamoth's sonar and the Cyclops. It's around 300. It's painful to give you the exact range as it uses a shader to do it. And I don't really want to reverse the shader's code. What I can tell is that they both use the same component, from the origin point of the camera.

iirc you just put the contents of tobys into the sn folder and put the files for the mods in it
with nautilus and other frameworks you need to put the contents inside
or atleast thats what i did

idk i got tobeys bepinex and nautilus, then i put those in subnautica (Manage - Manage - Browse Files or something) and then put a mod in plugins but now im playing bz and it seems pretty cool

youre supposed to put nautilus into the plugins folder

You have to download bepinex and put it in the SN folder and run SN once then you close sn you open the Plugins folder then you Download nautilus and put it in the Plugins folder after that you download any mod you want (Note that you will Need separate Mods for some Mods but you will find it out evventuallz)
