if they haven't previously been approved they get sent to an emote queue where a mod reviews the emote and makes sure it is used in at least 50 channels, and can't be used in a way to tease or harass someone. the queue is probably really busy from the roll out but they get to them asap

Also, my chat settings in my language are automatically translated to English. It does not show whether the subscriptions are sent randomly or directly to the user (as if minimized). It's ridiculous for ordinary people in the chat to see the text of "people who join the channel for the first time in color" (I know it can be turned off in the settings, but this should be turned off automatically.) for examle:

hello! I have a few questions about the new “Mod logs” setting. So ideally i wouldn’t want anyone to be able to see what I and my mods delete on my stream (or timeout/ban)
I think that should be between the streamer and the moderators.
Is there a way to turn off the ability for others to see my streams Mod logs? I couldnt find this in the settings, only the ability to see other streamers mod logs. Any help is appreciated!

Curiosity is basic human nature. while the things mods delete or ban are generally to make chat a better place. people ask questions. even native twitch shows the message as removed (albeit not the content.) often times this results in people asking what that timeout was or what that person got timed out for. being able to see for yourself why someone was timed out often times removes that curiosity and person interrupting chat by asking what happened especially in smaller communites.

its also why there is a warning before enabling the setting letting people know that there could be less than savory content in the modlog

Not sure if this is a 7TV issue, but I figured I'd ask here, because the problem occurred right after I installed 7TV. Youtube doesn't seem to properly display emotes if there's 2 or more in a row. It's printing the emotes as one uninterrupted line without a space in between, which makes the emotes fail to appear.

Not sure where the 7tv settings are for youtube, and disabling it in the onboarding thing doesnt seem to fix anything. I also removed BTTV and FrankerFaceZ, to no change in results

Often times though this can backfire and instead of just satisfying the viewers curiosity, can make them bring it up or dig deeper into it, aka making it harder for mods and streamer especially to not get affected. This is just my opinion that i've experienced trolls who just like to feed into it and with that feature, having a easier time doing that. I don't know if this is some feedback 7TV could use, but thank you for the answers none the less :)

On open, the window is labelled Recent Timeouts/Bans, but I don't want to be caught surprised if people see me block-listing the latest word for assorted genitalia, for example. Yo, it's been a few days since 7tv doesn't load for me (doesn't show 7tv menu button, neither emotes). I tried quitting ffz/bttv, updating chrome, reinstalling both 7tv and 7tv nighly. Am I missing something? only clue is that when I install both 7tv and 7tvnightly they detect eachother and it pops up the "two 7tv installed" message

Point redeem and gifted subs not showing is likely due to extension conflict

You can change the location of the emote menu in settings + native menu visibility (but I'm not sure if you mean the old 7tv menu or native menu)

Hello there! I've been using 7TV for quite a while on Twitch, and I'd love to be able to use it for YouTube Live!
However, the link to... well, link YouTube and Twitch isn't working as well as it should, as it pushes out an issue with an API Endpoint.

Google currently doesn't allow any way for us to link 7tv to a YouTube account. They're working on finding a solution

There is a fix for that, albeit a bit of a pain.

1. create a new discord account
2. go to the account with your twitch linked and link the new discord account you created to it
3. now that you have another account linked you can go ahead and unlink the twitch account from that account
4. sign out of 7tv and then right click the sign in icon and select "use discord" and sign in via your original discord account
5. you should now be in the account that you want to keep. go ahead and link your twitch account to this account again
6. you should now have your twitch account and discord account linked correctly and be able to sign in like normal

the option will only be available when there is another account connected. it keeps people from unlinking the last account and losing everything

thats why you need to make a throwaway account for discord to link to the JoIsBean 7TV account
