Anyone else having issues with stutter/hitching in Edge with the beta? So far every beta version has given me stutter issues, after about 15 mins twitch just hitches every 30-45 seconds. The original plugin still runs fines, disabled every other extension, no change. Disabling the plugin fixes it every time.

unsure if intentional but emotes probably don't get cached and keep getting refetched everytime an emote is posted, old extension does the same so I assume caching is left to the browser but it would be odd to get rate limited when it should be cached

It's in an effort to encourage client implementors to avoid downloading every goddamn image when users open the emote menu (v2 does this btw)
most clients do it this way and it's an obvious waste of bandwidth
the new emote menu has a noticeable delay scrolling thru emotes, that's on purpose as there's no need to actually download images if you're just skimming through

I added an emote called "CptDrax". Wrote "CptDrax" once at the start of my message, followed by test test test. Result as shown. First the emote, then the name as plain text, then as a link. Happened first time with beta 13, ffz and bttv not enabled. Happened in another channel before, where a users name was an Emote.

Yes something like this would be fantastic. Even to be able to minimise the channels will be huge.
Currently in beta 13 the channels (when you open the emote menu) are on the right hand side and its got some unfriendly reminders of some difficult times on twitch for me due to bit emotes from those channels still being listed and showing.
Being able to hide them entirely would be fantastic (twitch wont remove bit emotes unfortunately) however, even the ability to minimise them in the way you have shown in your image is fantastic!
