An improvement to black swan, maybe more secret rooms like the secret imposter area with sabos specifically connected to them, like one that fills a room with gas sorta like warlock but only for the secret rooms, maybe make some that are accessible to regular geese but they require an item you can find on the map like a key or keycard add a task In the room so there's a reason to enter and the sabo makes it so its a danger to actually enter the room for the tasks in those rooms like the airlock. Just an ideq

sabbotages:
Fire (unlocked in kitchen) - usual fire sabbo, effects the kitchen, electronics store, and a random stall in the food court.
Lockdown (security) - locks all marked doors, said doors can be seen through for the people inside the rooms. (One way windows)
Overflow (Fountain): causes the Fountain Plaza to flood for 20 seconds. Birdās attempting to wade through the flood move at half speed, and dead bodies are hidden and unreportable until the water drains.
Lights (Electronics) - space style lights sabotage: can be fixed either In security or electronics (right behind the counter)

The crystal ball at the Fortune teller allows anyone to gaze anywhere in the map (works like astral). All neutrals and ducks can see a blue eye outline above the map showing both that the ball is in use, and itās vision.

Itād be way too linear to ever actually work as an official map, but would offer such a different experience to other maps thatād it would completely change how the players play with it

may i come with a suggestion, in my oppinion it is a very good and well thourght out map, but i feel like its missing a new environmental or game-ending sabbo or maybe can get drowned in the fountain or something. sorry if it came of as rude i still believe its a great map idea
Honestly understandable 
I was trying to go for a more subtle type of environmental sabbo with the fountain (not outright killing the geese, but still giving them good reason to avoid that area), but I can definitely see the argument for more direct sabotages (they make geese act more urgently, and environmental kills give dead ducks something to do)
I tend to do sabotages last, and I will admit that donāt quite experiment with them as much as I could.
(Also dw you werenāt being rude at all :)
one thing i do know is if the went with the idea they would certainly do awesome stuff with it, the attention to detail on other maps are amazing so can only imagine how good it would look come to "life"

People often argue over whether geese are better than ducks, or vice versa. Personally I find both taste great.
Yeah I think the newer maps are designed for big groups - But there are only a few maps for small groups, more small maps in the future for when you only have a small group would be great.

Have you considered reworking old maps that are particularly egregious sizes to have similar mechanics later on? Would help create variety without having to create brand new maps.
It's not impossible. Some maps have already had small changes and at least one has been fully reworked
If we go back and rework a map entirely its a new map
We would rather add a new map than to take something away and replace it.
If we find that a map is not conducive to enjoyable gameplay we will ultimately remove it. Black Swan is high on our hit list of maps we will likely erase in the near future.

Black Swan will likely not be removed entirely. It'd probably be like Mother Goose 1, which was all hexagons and lacked a jail. Otherwise, MG II is nearly identical.
I remember one possible blackswan rework was having it crashland on a planet, so it could end up being conpletely different. We will just have to wait and see

Lots of shapes, even more irregularly shaped shapes, often end up making hexagonal patterns when conpacted.

This post is a new idea and also a little feedback on the mummy sabotage. I would be interested to see the idea of a sabotage that is on the stronger side, however ducks must complete that particular sabotage task every round to use it. This would give ducks a strong tool to use if done properly, while balancing out the opportunity costs by ducks getting caught doing the sabotage task. I think the mummy sabotage on AS and future sabotages of similar strength would be good examples of sabotages this idea could work well with. As it stands, this sabotage is very powerful, and when wielded in the right hands can win ducks entire games without making a single kill themselves, never implicating themselves more than the one time doing the sabotage task.

Geese: geese can go around to do something like āreload the cannonā and ācheck the suppliesā(itās just where you put a check mark of you seeing 1 item in there) and etc.
Ducks: there are sabotage for lights, cams(there will be camsā¦since the geese has to check suspicious activity in cams), the sentry, and reactorā¦idk cant think of anything else 
So the sentry sabotage can make a nearby goose if approached will be shot, and the cams is just making all the cams seeing a drawing of a goose eating bread

I think thats map like camping in the forest with some van that can go in it. On the camp has some van that have a room that can locked from inside. And new minigame: boat rushing. (Add a small river with a smal dock with some boat). Should add a new pyhsics: sit. You can sit on the sofa.

There were talks of a fishing minigame so I guess a new hangout lobby being campgrounds sounds like it would make sense

I have a suggestion for Ancient Sand's Magical Mirror (their version of Surveillance Camera). The location is unnoticeable and ducks don't use it often because their goal is to do the sabotasks, kill and sabotage so i suggest to put it somewhere where all players are able to see what's on the mirror.
Also, I hope you can zoom it out a little bit because it is hard to navigate it and see what's going on.

I mean it is the least popular map, but there would definitely be some backlash about removing it, especially from the players who have been around since the Space era was the only era. It still has a place in the GGD universe.
If it's going to be completely removed, I want to see an animatic about how it went down. It deserves a final sendoff. There hasn't been an animatic on the YouTube in awhile.

Black bear is twice as fast as the Mummy and can kill players in vents. No one is safe. Complete tasks to place food down to distract the bear, complete all your tasks to win.

Sounds like something for a camp map, where the bear is limited to one area where there's more quick tasks than other areas, but the bear is there 100% of the time, roaming freely.
A sabotage may let it free for a short time.

Yes there is a shipwrecked on the island on where you spawn,theres also a task there,well there are other ones but its boats and are just a decorations,alterantively,theres also a Village in the Map where you can do things such as talk to those Npcs as tasks and ofc do some village chores and such,
Voting off animation can be somwone bwing thrown in the volcano or Thrown at sea using a raft which is eaten by a shark.

I had this idea for while but for the next map is a racing themed map called THE GOOSEWAY this map is a map that is open most of the time with racing themed tasks like changing tires and filling up cars with gas but what makes this map unique it the duck's unique sabotage which is a mini game where the players have to race around the track for 3 laps and for the player who comes in last dies and has their role revealed there are also some more sabotages like burning the speedway to a crisp or even turn out the lights and even lock up areas of the map.
The vote out animation is the person getting runned over by one of the vehicles

Iād suggest making the pre-game waiting room universal all as the lounge room to enhance the game in a socializing perspective and more immersive, this way players are more likely to be whaling and use the vending machines.

As someone whoās main inspiration for trying map design is Hitman 2, I understandably really like this idea 
Mhm, basically its 10min day,then 10min night then so on and so forth,oh and on night everyones vision is decreased by 10% and ofc light sources give light so im sure you know what i mean.
Night time is usually a prefect time to strike for ducks.but The day is risky mostly..the advantage at night for ducks is that you can usually camp at one of the tents to sleep at it as a task,this will change it to day just like how mincraft works and ofc is reference to that game.,this also includes neutrals and ducks themselves.
Most abilities now for neutrals and impostor can be active at night

What if there was a map that had two story's and some parts can have glass floor/roof so the top players so who's below them but because the bottem peaple are below the only so shawdows of them?
I had an idea that if we can make a superlarge map,and this superlarge map can accommodate more players (all goose roles and neutral roles can be used) to play games,of course we need more speaking time and voting time,maybe add more means of fast movement for ducks such as ventilating ducts or elevators.
obviously,superlarge map and more players maybe be a burden on the server,but i still think superlarge map well be funny
It's not so much the server burden that is the issue, but player devices and connections. Some players already have devices that border not being strong enough to run the game, and internet connections that border not being fast enough to maintain a connection.
And the developers have made numerous changes to accomodate older devices and slower connections. Especially if you check the older patch notes, I think it's been directly mentioned 8-10 times.

for the large map it could be made that you only load the floor your on and when you go in the elevator you unload one floor and start loading another
Maps are already on the "too large" side for the number of players the game supports.
An even larger map is unlikely the best option.
what does it mean by cut off... it means the new map will automatically frozen some areas if the number of players is below a certain number?
I assume it will be like how the basement map currently works, where in goosehunt mode the entire tunnels section is unavailable (the doors remain closed)
For the smaller side of people what if we make a smaller map for the epople who can't support the bigger maps?
Mallard Manor fits that pretty well, works great for all lobby sizes without feeling too big or small
A Jurassic world style map but instead of dinosaurs it's prehistoric geese and ducks that can reach 7 stories high
So just a small map? Also, tasks may be hard to do for such birds.

I constantly imagine of the gesse and ducks would explore a big underwater dome at the bottom of the ocean.
I was thinking that it could be split into two different sections. In which the goose/ duck would have to use a submarine to get to each side.
Some of the tasks will include check the water pressure and temperature, keeping the dome save from deep sea monsters, and cooking foods like fish
The main sabotage that the duck will do is try to flood the dome ,in which the geese must look for cracks and fix them with tape
The cutscene which plays when someone is voted up is forcing them into and escape pod which is eaten by one of the monsters outside the doom
There are some details in the old developer logs and one single 3D image in the #intheworks if you know which one

I think they mean an in-game music room (like a discord radio bot), but that seems like alot of work when you can play your own music to yourself

Real world maps, like you could have a Tokyo map, or France, New York, Mexico, etc... they don't even have to be places with big monuments or anything, it just might be nice to see places people could recognize or closely relate a place to.

AND THEY'RE IN A NEARBY GALAXY!? THIS ONLY MAKES IT EASIER FOR THE GEESE/DUCKS/PIGEONS/ETC... TO MAKE IT TO REAL WORLD PLACES, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LEARN INTERDIMENSIONAL TRAVEL!! THE MULTIVERSE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE OPENED!

cause some people like those car cosmetics, why not a race track map, with a mode attached that we race in, nobody is any specific role except random powerup eggs appear that give you different abilities (no killing) that hinder / swap / speed / etc. --- The map would be designed in a loop, but kinda like the kid toy car map. Locations around the map would be designed as easter eggs for all current maps. Drive through a pyramid, one turn could have MG / BS landing or taking off randomly, so on so forth. -- Could come with a draft / classic playable map that is sort of like a Fair Grounds, with related racing / clownish stuff. Maybe also a new role, "Clown Duck" - Instead of a normal kill ability you create a balloon decoy which if anyone gets near it it pops, could have an aoe effect, up to devs if this balloon decoy looks like an actual balloon or a player. --- Its here in map ideas due to 2 maps, the other stuff was just an after thought. I was remembering the cars, us trying to race during draft, rainbow road, and the childhood car mat.
make a map with a dark theme so that the map looks like a horror theme, being that it would be halloween-themed, or you could simply make a theme like this inside somewhere that can be turned to a horror theme, like apocalypco scenarios or a police station something like that...
make a snow themed map and place it when there is christmas for limited time events
I feel like other maps could get definetely be rethemed for holidays after Goosechapel got a fresh coat of paint for Lunar New Year. I can totally see Mallard Manor getting some snow and holiday decor.

Gimmick: you can buy stuff to upgrade(speed for example), but there is a black market which only the ducks can buy from(getting multiple votes), to get money they do tasks to get money

Because of all the cannon ideas, I think a pirate map would be cool, you could have 2 or 3 separate ships with cannons to get to them. Some sabotages it could have is the hull flooding, shark attack, fire, etc... for the doors closing, you could stop the cannons from working. This would have tasks like raising the sails, washing the deck, kicking off stowaways, putting out bait for sharks, feeding a parrot, steering the ship, etc...

The HEXAGON: Its a giant hexagon made of smaller hexagons. Cosmetics: a hexagonal hat, a dress made out of shiny hexagons, a hexagon fart, throwing hexagons kill stinger, and a floating hexagon with eyes pet. New Role: Hexa Duck, normal kill, abilty: Duck teleports a marked target to their previous location 20-30 seconds prior. Ability on use marks a bird, 20 seconds later can be triggered again in a 10 second window or automatically goes off after 10 seconds. Teleports target to exact location they were when initially tagged. Sabotage: Outer hexagon rooms detatch and move in a loop for 30 seconds unless someone deactivates it, trapping birds in those rooms for a limited time. Engineers / similar - get a mini portal gun that activates during this to escape into an internal hexagonal room of their choosing.

I think those houses were intentionally left unoccupied for balance reasons, the map would be far too large otherwise
Negative space is also important for a map to have ways to channel players down the different corridors.

It would have to be generated randomly every time, as people would memorise it very quickly. Also, would it really be a maze with the map?
The only way I could see something like a maze working is if it was made of individual rooms or modules that would randomly shift positions, but the map would show where each module was in the previous round. But then again Iām not sure the current map design supports something like this.

I have description of rooms, sabotages, and roles:
Main room has a bunch of office desks with paperwork to do as tasks.
Climate change lab has thermostats and things to regulate temperature and humidity.
World hunger lab is a large farm with quick-growing plants.
Kitchen is a kitchen.
Lounge has bean bags, games, pool table, etcā¦
Lavatory has toilets, showers, and sinks.
Sleeping quarters has sleeping bags, similar to the ones in blackswan.
Air pollution lab has many vents, filters, and loads of air-fresheners.
Water pollution has many pipes, and fish tanks full of trash-eating piranhas.
File storage has many large bookshelves with many research papers
Material storage has plutonium, machines, backup/spare parts, etc⦠there is a door at the bottom leading between material storage and file storage
The world peace lab is colorful and bright. It has lots of games and stuff in it. It has a whiteboard that says stuff like ābe happy.ā āBe friends.ā Etcā¦
Abandoned checkpoint is dark and sort of in ruin. It looks a lot like the normal checkpoint, and only has one task and a sabotage in it.
Weapons is full of nukes, bombs, and guns. It has no tasks nor sabotages in it, and is only accessible through vents. A secret room like the one on Blackswan
Checkpoint is basically a decontamination room.
Sickness cures has test tubes, masks, and hand sanitizer. There is a note on the wall about a missing test subject.
Nuclear disposal lab is basically a nuclear reactor, but it also has machines testing ways to destroy nuclear waste.
Finally, electric is full of wires, servers, and has a control panel in the back.

Sabotages:
Lights: activated in electric, fixed in electric. Just turns off the lights.
Doors: activated in electric, cannot be fixed; time based. Ducks activate emergency protocols, and designated doors become locked for about 20 seconds.
Vents: activated in air pollution, cannot be fixed; time based. For about a minute, all vents are sealed, and no one can exit or enter them (players in vents when sabotage is activated will be stuck until sabotage ends. Mechanic will immediately be ejected when sabotage ends.) toxic gas builds up anytime someone does a task, and rooms with 4+ tasks done in them during the sabotage will show a toxic cloud that kills players if they stay in it for too long. (Geese have lowest tolerance, therefore lasts the shortest amount of time in the gas, neutrals are second least, followed by ducks, then pigeon, and finally falcons.)
Plumbing: activated in water pollution, fixed in lavatory. Ducks clog the plumbing, forcing players to go to lavatory to stop the toilets from overflowing. To fix this, players need to figure out which three of the seven toilets are clogged, and then successfully unclog them. About 90 seconds to do this before ducks win.
Weapons: activated in abandoned checkpoint, fixed in climate change. The temperature in weapons increases to a dangerous amount, and players must go to climate change to fix the temperature. Also takes about 90 seconds before ducks win.
No sabotage can be activated at the same time, except for door sabotage. All sabotage tasks have a normal one, except for the one in the abandoned checkpoint.

Added/changed roles:
Pigeon: like I explained in classic roles, pigeon will have a longer cooldown, but when they sneeze they infect everyone within a small radius. Ducks and neutrals will be cured after about 10 seconds, but geese are cured when they do tasks. All players are cured during meetings. The pigeon doesnāt need to infect all players, just most of them.
The pigeon was the test subject for the sickness cure lab, but everyone just thought that they were also a scientist.
Mad scientist (duck role): longer kill cooldown, but kill cooldown recharged faster during sabotages.
Bicephal Falcon: two heads are better than one: use this to your advantage to be the last survivor.
Basically a falcon with two heads. Players can switch between the two heads (switching from head A to head B has a 30 second cooldown, or at least a cooldown lower than normal falcon kill cooldown; and switching from head B to head A has a 5 second cooldown.) when switched to head A you can talk and listen to other players, but when Switched to head B you can kill. Head B has a 30 second kill cooldown (again, or at least lower than normal falcon cooldown), which recharges even when switched to head A.

Theres actually 3 space maps
From what I understand, there is at all times a new map currently in development, if not multiple maps at various stages of development. More variety is always being worked on.
With that in mind, I just had an idea:
A map based around the idea of a theme park.
Tasks could include playing midway games, buying food from a vender and eating it, measuring yourself on a "you must be taller than this line" sign. Or even just "wait in line" where you are standing in a line and have to slowly inch your bird forward as the birds in front of you advance. Don't bump into the bird in front of you or you fail. Stand too far behind them and another bird might cut and you fail.
Interesting features on the map could include rides you can actually get into and ride, some of them like a train could even take you elsewhere similar to how the desert sands boat works. (and of course the train could run birds over if they're not careful.
Sabotages could have interesting qualities like messing with rides. For example, causing the train to speed up (and the signals to not warn people of an approaching train) so it is more likely to hit someone. Setting off the fireworks display to make a certain area a lethal deathtrap for a limited amount of time. Flooding the tunnel of love and log ride so someone has to go adjust the valves at both rides, or good old fashioned "burn the place down" fire sabs!

You could siphon gas and put it into a different car, that could be a funny task. Or you could take that same idea and make it a sabotage, like you would have to siphon gas from cars and put it in a generator to turn the lights back on.

GGD maps usually are inspired by horror movies. We have space horror, lovecraftian basements, Egyptian desert and Mayan/Aztec Jungles, and a classic Victorian age town
Then what other types of horror movies settings that can be implemented in GGD? Modern settings can be abandoned hospitals, haunted wonderland(with clowns/IT references), stone-quarry and campsites(usually seen in US movies).
In classic settings we can have: snowstorm villa, large/ghost cruise ship, settler town in early colony era or US West setting, and Dracula castles.
And there can be some classic oriental settings, like shrines, mausoleums

I think this could work really well! Sounds like a fun idea, and we know that medieval stuff is already present in GGD, as there are plenty of vintage armor stands around various maps. What do you mean by "capture the assassin before he reaches the king!", though? How exactly do you picture that working?
Hadn't really thought that out. But one option could be to make it like feed the god sabo. But instead of randomly spawning food, it would be lazy guards that you bring to the king.
An Athens Esque map with greek goose gods
Area 1. A shrine with a bunch of cleaning tasks and a worship one and you can call a meeting in there
Area 2. A collapsed statue in the middle which the ducks destroyed
Area 3. Is just a secret underground lair dedicated to the ducks gods which is accessible by a cabinet in the shrine which has to be opened by a duck to unlock a powerful Sabo but anyone can go in and it gives a sort of clue as to who the ducks are

This map have a countdown, it will decrease with time, doing tasks can slows down its decrease.
The map is divided into many floor, every time the countdown is reduced by one stage, the bottom layer of the map will sink to the bottom of the sea. If there are players at the bottom at this time, they will die immediately.
This is actually a really cool mechanic and (with some tweaking) would be a great way to make a bigger stage work in this game 
An ancient Chinese house, there are multiple Chinese zombies (named Jiangshi).
Jiangshies usually don't move, they move slowly only when they see the player. In addition, dead player can possess the Jiangshi to control it, its eyes will turn red and it can move faster.
In the world of the dead on this map there will be two hellbringers (named Heibai Wuchang) catching ghosts, and the caught ghosts will be temporarily locked in prison.
A theme park but itās a knockoff Disney park. I picture tasks being like you duct taping a ride, you cranking up the speed of a spinning wheel ride, or just eating a bunch of popcorn as fast as you can or just classic carnival games. Things like that.

If they did a pirate ship they could include things like several floors, walking on the plank (as a death), bottom floor sinking with the water leaking in (as a sabotage) and even zipplines between the ship's uper basket thingis (you could even cut the rope as an environmental death for the ducks). It would be very cool and I think it's an idea worth exploring.
I have no idea what kind of map it could work for but it could be cool for there to be some kind of earthquake sabotage that knocks down all players in its area like being hit in TLC, needing another player to help you up. What could make it interesting is that killers can finish off knocked down players at a smaller cooldown penalty.

Essentially, the whole theme of the map is it is outside, and snowing. While it'd be easy to go with reduced visibility like Desert Sands, the real gimmick is leaving behind footprints in the snow wherever you walk.
This makes it somewhat possible to follow the trail and see where they went, to a degree. For example, if someone walks up on a body and it must be fresh, and sees footprints leaving, they might follow the trail and locate the killer. It also means people are likely going to have fun initially just running around in the snow making footprints. Because of course we will.
Could also have a sabo where a blizzard starts, and everyone has to get inside a building or a hut before freezing to death.

Those tube bridges that slows a player down if turned on and off by doing tasks? Otherwise it just randomly stops and goes unless someone fixes the machine by doing tasks so any player can have more control of it whenever they want. (Can be sabotaged later on.) (The task is that you just smack the machine with a wrench or just press some random buttons or something before it can actually can be used correctly.)

Mainly I was picturing an environmental kill, which is tossing someone out of an office window.

My idea is that the backgrounds of the pirate ship and treasure island will be colorful and fun. The new job that follows will be fun if you have a parrot.
The characteristics of a parrot is that it has a high IQ and imitates the sound. If someone applies the parrot's skill, it would be very novel if a function to follow the words during the action or meeting is added.
Pirates and Treasure Island would be a very romantic map suitable for the summer season.
As a result, I think that if a cosmetic that fits this concept is released, it will be quite popular.
It would be nice to place a legendary creature like the kraken in a functional trap that appears after a certain amount of time. For example, if a certain mission cannot be completed or a treasure cannot be found within that time, the player is sacrificed.
Like the Nexus map, it would be nice to have a route to move from the big treasure island to the small island by pirate ship
In the case of sabotage, how about an obstacle that prevents geese from moving other than ducks for a certain period of time, such as the sound of a siren? I thought about it.
Finally, It's already been over a year since I spent time with Goose Duck, and I'm looking at level 350. I would like to thank the Goose Duck users who read this long article and the management staff who made such a fun game.

I took a 4 hour nap earlier where I dreamt about a map idea for ggd. On the map there were areas that were highlighted purple, like down narrow corridors on on edges/corners of rooms. These were like dark/dim areas, and if you went to these areas, your color and name would disappear so people could see you but not identify you. I was the demolitionist and in one of these spots when a girl came and thought I was someone else. She was trying to talk to me but I didn't answer so she wouldn't know it was me. I gave her a bomb then ran off before she could see who I was so she'd think I was whoever she thought I was.
I was also playing on a large map that had some large open spaces, but also had areas with narrow passageways and intertwining paths. This made it absolutely crazy like a big goose chase when a bomb started ticking as everyone started running through the intertwining pasagways trying to get away and was hilariously fun. Often they led to rooms with multiple exists that led back out (kind of like the library stairs) too which made funny standoffs between people trying to avoid the person with the bomb between the rooms
I have vivid dreams. I didn't even mention the part of how on the map there was a dotted trail for where you had been, including people you can see. Maybe that can be a new role or feature of the detective role

I have something to pitch about the mummy:
I'd like to see the mummy stick around longer again, but automatically despawn after getting one kill.
As it stands, the shortened time with the mummy out feels like it's not going to do much, and feels pretty unsatisfying. On summon, it often feels like it's not done much. On the other hand, getting the active feedback as a duck of knowing when the mummy has successfully killed someone feels nice! You know you accomplished something!

Map title: Goose Mines
The tasks could include setting up lights, deeming areas safe or not safe, mining (obviously), analyzing minerals, repairing specific parts of minecarts, drilling, filling lanterns, etc.
All roles can play.
Duck Sabotages: TNT (Causes a random tunnel to collapse and become unusable, blocking it until geese go to the blockage and clear it. Any geese in the tunnel that collapses will die, but their body will remain.),
Oil flood: Oil begins spill in the mine from a location on the map, and the geese have to fix the oil spill in time. As usual, failure to fix the sabotage results in the duck winning.
Cart Jammer: All players cannot use the minecart to get to other places of the mine unless a goose fixes the cart, or a certain amount of time has passed.
Map features: You can call / send the minecart with a button, but don't stand on the tracks unless you wanna get run over and killed (Like with the shuttle on Nexus Colony, except there's no vent in the cart.)! Also, the vents / whatever we use for venting are replaced with holes that were unused in the mine.
Lobby style: Adventurer-style base camp in a cave.
(I cannot think of anything else like the ejection scene or other stuff. Let me know if you think of anything that would fit.)

That map would need to be closed off in a sense on the edges different from any map they ever done. Then allowing swimming a new mechanic in the game.

To close off the map, it could have a coral cave on one side of the base, in a crescent so that you can enter and exit from either side. Or just an open cave that is blocked by the base and broken up by various material to reduce visibility some.

How about a underwater map
Not sure if this has been suggested or not but how about a map set in the 1920s-1940s based on the period of Art Deco which was such a huge influence during these periods when it came to designs of buildings or transportation, my suggestion would either be an Ocean Liner based on this period which could have some interesting sabos which might include sinking the ship or to prevent the ship from having a boiler explotion. The other one could be a Hotel that could maybe have secret passages between the rooms and maybe a mechanic that allows people to either be on other floors.

An abandoned water park that was closed down due to an ex employee that lures in there next targets. The owner sends a team to investigate and it turns out that not everyone is on the same side. One killing feature is the all too familiar water dump bucket that goes off on a timer no activation needed, so not even the ducks are save and it causes a flood canal that blocks people off from side to side.

There could be like a upstairs and down stairs and each room is based on classes.
A few mechanics: Ducks, engineers and pigeons are able to hide in lockers. Players will have to do a task to activate security cameras. If a meeting is tied the player(s) would be in detention/jail.
Sewer Facility:
The map has two stories, but you can reach both by moving up and down a set of stairs.
The top portion looks like an abandoned factory. There are cobwebs in different areas. Boxes littered on the floor, u-boats blocking doors, food scraps, and much more.
The bottom half would be a sewer. I think it would be cool if in one pipe there was an alligator poking its head out. Almost like how in the medieval looking map, there is a duck in the pillory.
One of the sabotages are to fix the sewer pipes. If the pipes are not fixed, the sewer will flood and so will the factory.
A WWII era bunker sorta map with a middle in the middle that can be sabotaged with a long timer but many tasks are required to fix it
Maybe a farm adding some new tasks like bringing a cow some wheat feeding gooses and much more this map would have a barn a wheat farm which would function like a foggy area a stable for the horses and much.more

I think there should be a school map and a exclusive teacher vs students gamemode where the teacher has to blend in with the students and has to send all the students to detention but the students can free each other and the students can hide in lockers and the teacher cant see them and also they have to get a A in each class like history or English to escape the school and if a certain student gets all the A they can escape and earn there team 3 points and every student who cant escape then the teacher will get 5 points also there is a 10 minute timer
Although this idea is interesting, I'm not sure how well that would play out with the general population because some people dont care too much for school or tests.

I kinda like the idea of a prison map having a portion blocked off until a community task is completed, similar to The Basement. The task would be to tear down a poster of Rita Haygoose revealing a secret tunnel and opening up the additional part of the map

lol regular circus theme is what Im suggesting. A park with diffrent tents, ticket booth, "rides", main three rings tent, costume room tent, etc. The costumes such as clowns, tight rope walker, ring leader, all kinds of animals, lion tamer. I can imagine this being super colorful and a lot of gold and red.
I know, I know. That would be really cool as well. The whole circus and carnival thing sounds like so much fun.

I was thinking about a theater map that contains a green screen for people that makes GGD content and need to make thumbnails.
Tasks could be like: clean the seats, pull the courtains, make a presentation (playing instruments like the piano task), organize the dressing room... anyway. I just thought about it.

Sabotage ideas can be : Lights, escalator break and kill, trigger alarm so our voice vol drop by 10 db so it is hard to hear or mall music is too loud, one of the food store sabo probably can be poison.

Mostly Outdoor Map with 2 Bridges that connect the two sides of the river to eachother. There are 3 Sabotages: Setting the Main-Building on fire, putting the campfire out, cloging the toilet, setting up dynamite inside cave. The Sabotages are marked on the map. 1 Special thing about this map would be the feature to get lost, aka die by yourself. thoose are the lost woods/forests. If you walk in them, a countdown appears, which, when on 0, kills you since you didnt find your way back in time. If this feature doesnt fit the game, you can simply change them with worldborders. You could also make a sabotage that breaks the bridges for a certain amount of time, just like the lockable door, but its not on the map right now.

ā¢The kraken - activate at net, boat stops moving. If someone is on the boat, they're pulled into the water and wash up on shore. Geese need to get harpoons from different areas around the map and fire at the kraken. 5 hits collectively and it goes down.

The trick and treat candies speed you up or slow you down depending on which one you pick up.
What if that could be reworked into a sabotage.
Perhaps a map could have a weather system, and a duck sabotage triggers a random effect in specific areas.
For example, there could be an "inside" and an "outside" similar to goosechapel.
All inside areas are dry, but all outside areas begin to rain, creating mud slowing down all players outside.
Or maybe it gets really cold and a blizzard happens which will lower players vision similar to Ancient Sands's sandstorm and slow players down and those who don't get inside fast enough will freeze until the sabotage ends.
Perhaps the Ducks and Adventurer would be immune to the slowing. Would give Ducks an excuse and could make the Adventurer sus.
I imagine that would be both good and bad. On one hand, its a easy chance for a kill but on the other hand, it clears the geese and if your partner calls it while you're walking with a bunch of geese, it will immediately out you. Perhaps if going faster was on a toggle it

This is my first map so Let's go! Ahem.
Pack your hot packs, put on your puffer jackets, and prepare to be iced! Welcome to the shivering, freezing, hostile environment that is Outpost Duck. This wonderful little secret lab takes you out into a frozen tundra in the middle of nowhere, where the ducks aren't even the least of your concerns.
Geese aren't just battling their feathered foes here, they've got to deal with a hostile environment that requires them to be smart about when they move, unless they wanna become a frozen popsicle. This mostly indoor map includes a sleeping area, a garage with snowmobiles, a laboratory for all your chemical mixing needs, and most importantly, a freezing outdoor Gap between both sections of the map!
Mechanics
Brrrr, it sure is cold out in Outpost Duck! The outdoor area of the map is a danger zone, which players need to cross quickly. Standing around for too long outside (30 seconds seems fair) will turn you from a nice and warm geese to a frozen not so alive birdcicle. At least it's not too long of a gap, might take you at most 5 to 10 seconds to cross. As long as those Entrance doors stay functional.
Thankfully, the Geese have their own defenses against any evil birds amongst them. Both sections of the map have 2 security cameras each you can watch from the security office. And the good news? You don't have to turn them on at the start!
If you're wondering where the button is there is none, but I guess you can use the siren at either entrance way to get everyone's attention for an emergency meeting.

-Looks like the Ducks found a way to shut off the lights in the generator room. Start turning that crank to get them working!
-Uh oh. The Ducks can sabotage the entrance doors by messing with the door control, locking anyone outside in the freezing cold to freeze, and anyone behind the entrance doors on their side! Don't worry, this sabotage goes away on its own within 30 seconds, but you can shorten its time by flipping levers in the door control room.
-Those entrance doors aren't just the only thing keeping the snow out! The garage door is what keeps most of it out on the main side, but the ducks can jam it open, creating a fog that lowers your vision and removes all names (unless you're a duck). Better fix that breaker box that connects to the garage door again!
-The Kitchen is an easy place to start a fire. That may keep you warm for a while, but I doubt a burnt down outpost will, so grab that fire extinguisher and put out the fire.
-The Boilers are what keep the entire outpost heated. The ducks can unfortunately put those out and threaten to freeze everyone in the outpost. Collect coal for the Boilers to keep them from going out, or it's game over for everyone but the ducks!

-Mixing a Chemical recipe written down on a piece of paper in the lab
-Making a nice and hot soup in the kitchen

In Summary Outpost Duck is a dangerous place for all players. Geese will need to worry about its crossing hallways and isolated rooms, allowing their evil counter parts to eliminate them without anyone knowing. That, and also the freezing cold, which the ducks can sabotage to get kills without even needing to go near you!
It's not all doom and gloom for the good guys though. The ducks and other feathered enemies can just as easily wipe each other out with those same issues. Plus, they've got a way to monitor the outpost from the security office! As long as the geese keep their eyes peeled and their heads down, they'll live!

I had an idea for a map mechanic, which would be a goose rover, acting like a āfriendlyā mummy. It would be constantly patrolling around the map in a set track, and there could be a place where anyone can view what the robot is seeing. There could be some kind of one time task like the intercom that can allow anyone to gain free control of the rover before it returns back to its normal path.

It might have been a very interesting fit for our next map, if I had the idea many months ago
But maybe it can fit a future future map. Ill try to think of some setup that could be used as a map mechanic both to benefit both ducks and geese
The idea of a goose using a robot as a camera and then it getting hacked and being witness to a murder take place right in front of them is interesting to me
Oh yeah, I could totally see it being able to go beserk as like a sabotage or something. I could see people crowding by the camera so people can watch them, but having the chance for it to start chasing down and killing anyone nearby would make sense to keep people from bunching up near one.
With a Martian duck role it acts semi like esper and morphling together or even something entirely different. Maybe it can only kill pairs of two or three?! Clear sabos for a Mars map would be sandstorm, door lock, rover hack, and maybe something to do with oxygen? Few more could come of it but I'm not brainy enough to think, and if we wanna go real cool they could have like a contained atmospheric bubble with an exit that acts like airlock but instead of being vented into space you're just suffocated on spot and your bodies can be found instead of never to be seen again.

I feel like sandstorm would act like lights decreasing visibility inside the environmental bubble basically making it dark af but not in the buildings. So that door locks could be used more effectively to trap players outside.

There was an Idea I had earlier that could fit the idea of Martians, which always for some reason have some sort of mind control or body snatching capability. Basically when you're within range of any goose or non duck, press your secondary ability button to implant a player. Then, press the button again to gain 10 seconds of control over that player. While you're controlling another player you can't talk or move so position yourself in a way no one will be suspicious. You can kill as the controlled player but you can't use or see their ability (it basically treats you like a normal duck), and controlled players can still speak and warn other geese of being controlled. With the right balancing and tweaks maybe we could make this work as the special role for the Mars map?

New map : Arctic lab
This map is a big lab in the middle of ice and snow (we actually need more of these since we already have like 3 space theme map)
This map including snow storm, which is just sand storm but can cause freezing to almost every players ; Ice river ,ice pond which can make you sliding
Heat system : player after freezing will die in 15s if someone don't bring heat source to them , heat source come from fire camp ,heater and specific role
Sabotage: ice spike ,can kill u and block the way
Arctic monster : basicly a big ass whale will bite u and destroy a path of map
Electric : turn off the power in lab ,which also turn off all the heater

I love the idea of a snowy place! But I'm also hopeful they will make a filter so some of us with light sensitivity can darken maps like Nexus and Ancient Sands.
Imagine there being sabo that brings in really heavy snow. Or one where if you don't get inside a building in time you die of hypothermia. š„¶

For example, a language class in which there could be a task with a blackboard that we have to erase with a sponge. Or a chemistry class in which we have to pour one liquid into another as a task. a map thats takes place in a cave, the cave will have a new machanic called light, theres a NPC that will be walking on the map, all non-ducks will have a candle, the clandle will have a range that will decrease over time, when the candle range goes to minimum, the NPC will transform into a creature and will chase the players that have a out of range candle, if the enters in contact whit that players, it will kill that player. Players can add range to their candles by going in places on the map and doing a small task, i image also some new roles: like a duck role that can decrease players' candle range, a goose role that has a nerver decreasing candle range, etc

I would still love to see like a kind of Hotel map, where there's three floors, a lobby/reception on the ground floor with maybe a kitchen/dining, the apartments floor, and a roof.
An elevator to travel between them that can be sabotaged to fall if not fixed in time, killing everyone in and below it.

players can already get split up on eagleton, and very specifically we made it such that the sewers are just corridors

All players get split up into 2 seperate versions of the same map, (maybe just making half of the players invisible would work) before having them collide together and returning everything back to the same plane.

I guess 2 dimensions would make the most sense, but splitting everything could also be cool, but that would probably have to be a build around mechanic
Now that I think about it, having a map that is actually 2 identical but mirrored versions of the same layout could be interesting. Like when you are on one side of the map, you can see the other players on your side as well as the reflection of players on the opposite side running around, although because they are only reflections they canāt be heard, have abilities used on them. Maybe the reflections should just be greyed out to add more mystery.

Map Settings:
The map is shaped like the Taiji diagram, which is divided into Sun area, Nagation area and equilibrium area
The map structure of the positive and negative domains is consistent
Sun area: No change
Negative area:
All player vision is forced to flashlight (including duck)
Ducks can cut teammates in dark areas
equilibrium area:
Located in the very center of the map (where the bell is)
All player skills are unavailable
The most important point! :
The number of players in the positive and negative domains can not be more than four!
Otherwise the system will make all players randomly teleport!
There is a portal at the array eye of the positive and negative domains, which can be transmitted bidirectionally. The portal uses CD60s
The transmission takes 2s, and the death information of the network celebrity cannot be received during the transmission
If the bird is killed at the portal, the body will be transferred to another portal without triggering the Canada Goose alarm
Homemade map: Wetland Park
The map is quartered by a river and its two branches
The central island has a bridge connecting the three areas (the opening is in a damaged state)
(Due to material limitations, only two Bridges at most can be repaired.)
Those killed near a river will be pushed into the water and moved slowly to the right of the map until they are removed from the map
Geese can swim slowly across rivers
Most ducks/mimics/pigeons can dive into the water and move quickly
Each region will go through three phases of day/dusk/night, and each region will be at a different stage
The phase change interval is 20 seconds
Daytime: Goose/neutral eye enlargement
Dusk: No effect
Dark night: All players can see flashlight, ducks can knife each other
Duck damage:
"Electric Fish" :
Power the river, and all players in the river will be shocked to death if they do not leave the river within five seconds
Blasting Bridges:
Assign a bridge to be blown up, and the player on the bridge will be blown up in three seconds
The blown Bridges need to be repaired by missions
That's a nice idea, but I have some improvements to suggest
- All players have different places that they can find batterys for their flashlight.
- Sabotage : Fog (View restriction sabotage)
- halves the distance of geese and neutral's flashlights.
- Sabotage : Boat (kill sabotage..?)
- When activated, a boat appears on one of the four lakes. After few seconds, the boat accelarates. And it kills everything that comes into contact with the exception of players who managed to ride on the boat. If the boat reaches the end of the lake, it stops for a few seconds, then it disappears.
- How to ride the boat is simple. They just need to run at the right time to the deck through the side entrances. And this -riding the boat- will also give an acheivement. The players riding on the boat will be teleported to the nearest ground. All corpses will be thrown into the river.
In fact, I have thought about this, but I just don't dare to pretend it

When you complete a reward, you gain the ability to be voted out and win

Standing on unthatched outdoor ground will slowly sink into the swamp, and the movement speed will decrease simultaneously

When the player is completely stuck in the swamp, he dies immediately and the corpse disappears
If you are more than 50% swamped and killed, the body will immediately be swamped

Maybe a map that is called aquarium and theres sabotages of like sharks coming out and eating the player and maybe you slip and die ,closing doors , light sabotage. It has a various of places like where the fish tanks are at and the tasks can be :
1- cleaning the fish tank glass
2- feeding a fish
3- cleaning the floor
4- grab a slipping sign 1/2 | place it at (etc)
5- cleaning the bathroom
6- int with the employees
( goose goose duck you can make the others I'm lazy xd )

Like a summer camp in the woods where you have the log cabbins, a lake, a mountain with a radio tower that has a task (coms task on carnival map where you get to say something to everyone) or insted of the mountain you can go to the main building and have the coms task on speakers. Could have a field, axe throwing task, archery task, and many more. I think its a pretty nice concept

When you do a task you will be rewarded with tickets, like the circus, you may use this tickets on the purple spots to get to the other side. If you did all the task on your side of the map and still don't have enough tickets, you can pass on the purple spots for free.

Yellow = Bell
Blue = Task (In Cafeteria the table counts as 1 task)
Green = Special Task (everyone has this task)
Purple = Portal to the Other side (Requires Special Task)
Sabotages:
Explosion - In TNT Lab a bomb is about to Explode in [?] Seconds
To fix it cut the correct Wires In TNT Lab
If the Timer ends the Ducks win
Bridge Miner - A Npc will Spawn at a random Bridge (Gray on side 1) and break the blocks.
Blocks will spawn at random positons on the map. Collect all to fix the Bridge
Direction Change - The Red line on side 2 will disapear and the next person will Crash into the Other Minecarts (similar to Rollercoaster sabo in carnival)
Dangerous Campfire - The Campfire will Burn everything after [?] Seconds.
The fire gets bigger over time.
Get the fire extuingisher in Barrel Room or In Side 2 and extuingish the fire.
If the fire gets to big and the timer Ends the ducks win.
Feel free to suggest Changes - This is still my early beta Design (like you can see the map is just kinda jungle temple 2.0)

I totally didnt just Retexture The ejection screen from Polus (among us) and put a goose over it

Objective
The objective of the game is to be the last team standing by protecting your fish and eliminating your opponents.
Teams
There are three teams: Ducks (Red Team), Pelicans (Green Team), and Falcons (Blue Team).
Each team has a designated captain.
Setup
Team Zones: The arena is divided into three zones, one for each team.
Fish: Each team has one fish located in their zone.
Captains: Each team captain must select a strategic spot within their zone to place their fish. The spot must be clearly marked and accessible.
Gameplay
- Defense and Offense: Teams must defend their fish while attempting to capture the fish of the other teams.
- Fish Capture: If a player successfully captures an opponent's fish and returns it to their own zone, the opposing team is eliminated.
- Team Elimination: If your team's fish is captured, your entire team is eliminated from the game.
Additional Rules
Respawn: If a player is tagged (hit by a laser), they must return to their fish to respawn before continuing to play.
Fish Protection: Players cannot hide the fish in an inaccessible spot. The fish must be visible and reachable.
No Friendly Fire: Players cannot tag their own teammates. Doing so results in a penalty where the player must return to their fish to respawn.
Winning the Game
The game ends when only one team remains with their fish still standing. This team is declared the winner.
