Lava streams are slow moving. In the real world, you're more likely to die from carbon monoxide poisoning than the actual lava
Or the ambient heat from it. But we're not talking reality for these maps.

A city map a theme park map and a desert map ik theyre not that evolved yet but those were some of the ideas i had

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

My map idea is that you could maybe add a Sewers map.
And do add to the sewer idea, there could be slides and ladders for different height levels of the map

Or a rockier desert area map outside the jungle with 2 levels and a cave. Not 2 levels like that but like a ledge or cliff area on top the bottom main area that you can walk up real quick and few tasks in a cave up there.
For the Dinosaur themed map, we could maybe have caves be things you can vent through.
Course, that's just my thought.

Map Idea: The Sanderling Resort (Concept by the guy above me)
Lore:
(A speech given by the staff manager to new recruits)
"As you all know, the Sanderling Resort is a high class getaway located in the Gull Islands, which are all a high traffic tourist attraction for Geese around the world. Yet among the Rocky Cliffs and Sandy Shores, lies a deep history behind these isles, for they were originally founded by the Ducks in the Ducktorian Era as a mid-sea naval base. Yet, once the Geese won the most recent war, the islands were handed over as part of the reparation between the two cultures. The new inhabitants make quick work of the old buildings, turning cargo ships into cruises and Hangars into putt-putt courses. In fact, this very resort used to be a Duck owned naval port, before it was repurposed into the retreat we know and love today.
Now, why am I telling you this? Well it's because it made the Ducks furious. The resort stands as constant reminder of the Duck's failings in the war, and of the wealth divide that stands between our countries. We have found spies in the past, and I guarantee that there'll be more in the future. I'm going to need all of you to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity that might occur, and to report it as soon as possible. We have emergency procedures that, while harsh, will hopefully eliminate any Duck threats that occur. Lore (This time I'll just get to the point): This takes place during the modern war (the one the geese won)
The Geese found a ton of DNA from the birds ancestors (The Reptiles), and made this underground facility to try and fuse Geese DNA and Reptile DNA, and also to observe recreated reptiles that have been let loose on the surface. The ducks, (managing to break in via a vent in the DNA lab), injected themselves with the DNA prototypes, with a few deciding against it. This gave them Camouflage powers, but also enhanced some of their abilities instead (most notably, the Identity Thief gained the ability to change just based off of DNA it gathered, creating the morphling).
Also in this map, the Pigeon is an escaped test subject, whose newly unique biology has bred a dangerous form of the Avian flu due to poor tube sanitization

Looks good, but that's a ton of square footage compared to other maps. Might be a tad large.
Seems to be on-par with Goosechapel overall, with less "dead" space from the buildings on the map that can't be entered

Yep, with the invisible duck acting as normal (can still interact while invisible, canāt see themselves unlike camouflaged ducks, doesnāt leave footprints)

Iād say GC is a good comparison, although the funkier venting style might make up for its large size (the footprints make it harder for ducks to get away)

. Gives me Hitman 2 Santa Fortuna vibes with the jungle (and my entire design philosophy is based off of that game so
). I like the transition from beach to jungle, being a quick shift from open and vulnerable, to tight and claustrophobic. Overall, 3/3 turtles for the design
B: I use an online mapping software to make mine (Dungeon scrawl), and you made yours by hand, making you at least 5x more of an artist than I am

Pirates are very cool but it would be cool if it had a secondary theme that ties together like how the basement was both Victorian and Lovecraftian but still had sense together.
I mean, the boat is on a tribal island so temple might be a theme to go for, and also the pirates have cannons and guns, which might use ducktorian era stuff. Not certain which would work better
My personal idea would be that both types of death stingers should be allowed. You could be using brass knuckles, a blowgun, or straight up open heart surgery. I think that would be cool

Name: Avian Fields
Information: A historical battlefield where Geese and Ducks fought in the past. Wreckage of wars past litter the battlefield, not only that, but other deadly surprises. Be wary of where you step, as landmines may still be scattered about.
Ducks would be able to tunnel under the battlefield using existing trenchworks (that the geese, minus the mimic cannot use). Existing kill animations would fit, especially the cannon. Overall, there would probably be a impassible forest surrounding the map. Players could find tasks all around the map, including but not limited to:
Chopping Wood
Repairing a structure or vehicle
Cleaning structures or weapons
Bow and Arrow Shooting
Trimming shrubs
Minesweeping or Metal detecting (coin search)
Etc...
Sabotages would include:
Lights sabotage (fixed by lighting scattered torches around the map)
Fog of war (similar to the fog in goosechapel)
EMP (fixed by resetting some electronics, messes with proximity chat, disrupts the task list and causes the map to become static)
Air Strike (Randomly drops bombs in places around the map, can kill any players, this is stopped by using an anti-air cannon to shoot down the aircraft like the weapons task. OR it stops after a certain time limit. Bombs being dropped can be seen as shadows that get bigger for a few seconds before the bomb hit the ground)
There would probably be a lake or river that bodies can be dumped into. Maybe even drag bodies into the trenchworks as well?
Being voted out would result in the player being shot out of an artillery cannon.

Camp Cassowary
An 80s horror themed map, based loosely on ideas from Friday The 13th, Evil Dead, and more
Designed to be roughly the size of Nexus Colony, this map would be a much more open map with the typical hallways being replaced by trails through the dark woods surrounding this eerie camp. The woods can be walked through, but only ducks can see inside of them
Features:
Unexplored Caverns that teleport players randomly to another cavern entrance when used
Canoes to paddle across Lake Cassowary to travel between sides
Sabotages:
The Tree That Hungers: Ducks can activate this sabotage to cause the tree on the left side of the map to eat anyone inside it's radius.
Ducktu Goosata Pelicanus: The ducks have called upon the unholy power of the Duckronomicon to summon duck forces into our world, find the book and read from it's pages in the haunted cabin to stop them
Forever Lost: The ducks have removed all markings from the cavern tunnels, anyone who enters will be lost forever (Requires players to look above the cave entrance to see if the markings are there before entering)
Shrieking Eels: The ducks call upon the dark powers to anger the eels that live in the lake, unless fed they will devour anyone crossing
Burn it down: The ducks have set fires across the camp, hurry to put them out
Eerie Fog: The ducks call in a fog to obscure their misdeeds from sight
Possible Task Ideas:
Mouse slapping, Campfire Lighting, Tent Building, Ant Swatting, cook the hotdog, clean cobwebs from cabins, make the bunk, fishing, archery, chop wood, tape the evil laughing deer's mouth shut, skip stones across lake, fuel the generator, paint the runes, sticks and feather arts and crafts, burn the wickerduck
(Note: I am much better at ideas than I am at drawing maps)
I love how you fleshed out all the sabotages and I think you nailed the 80's horror movie vibe 
Also don't feel to bad about the map looking bad, Dungeon Scrawl is a beast of a program that takes a good while to get the hang of, and even I still struggle with some features (Notably Image Layers).

Well it's all about design and aesthetics. They've given us 3 spaceship maps and they all feel wildy different just by their layout
For example: Maybe the lodge has a more rustic feel as opposed to MM's Victorian one
true, if you were going to go 80s horror theme, then a camp like i did here, a hotel/haunted house, and maybe a government facility
now i'm picturing the HH Holmes murder house XD

Maybe the venting style could be a secret passageways type deal where the Ducks instead can just vanish into the night via the outside darkness
I didn't really put secret passages in the camp map.. I thought it would be more fun to allow anyone to go into the woods or stay on the paths as they want, but only the ducks get to see in the woods
so stepping off the path is taking your life into your own hands
I get the feeling players could get stuck in the woods if they cannot see where they're going at all.
Perhaps an alternative idea would be to have thick branches covering most of the visibility, so you can only see glimpses of an area at a time, as if viewing through a tree canopy.
that's actually part of the fun, you don't have to enter the forest after all. entering comes with risks, one of those being getting lost
My suggestion would instead be to add a few more trails to give geese options
well yes, my map doesn't do the idea full justice, i was actually thinking there would be multiple paths throught he woods
i was picturing more of winding paths that go through the areas
I will expand on this idea of a map in the future as gaggle hasn't gotten and might not get permission as of yet from BBC but my idea is a Tardis themed map I will work on this idea maybe later today after I have sent an email

Seems like all the adventure maps so far are just "___ temple" so how about a frozen temple. I might do a sketch of it later but I'm not the best at that kind of stuff lol.

Dungeon Scrawl is an absolute blessing, but it's also a bit funky to learn and can bug out at times
I started by coming up with a unique mechanic that sounded fun and then trying to see what fit that
I start with a general theme, and try and think of a fun Gimmick that stems from that theme
Hmm
For example:
The Sewers in New Stork City
The Arrows in the Ikea
The Lion and Wheel sabbo's in the Carnival
Usually a funky environmental kill does the trick 
I liked my idea for a forest you can walk through but can't see in the camp map and the sabos
That was a good one as well
Iām thinking of a factory with environmental kills because accidents and not up to OSHA standard

Conveyor belts, machinery, etc.
What if the Undertaker can drop a body on the conveyor belt, where it gets dragged towards an incinerator or something

Maybe some raised Conveyor belts/pipes block certain paths, but the Ducks/Mechanic can go under them

I like the funky shape of the design, it gives it a an interesting vibe to it that sticks out from other maps.
I also love the idea of needing to go around and set up the cameras before you can use each specific one. it flips the meta of Ducks and sabotage tasks onto the geese in a way I think would work really well 
As for name ideas: what if it was something like the Farlands Outpost, and the idea is that it's a cliff-side refueling/trading post on a mars like planet? You could even make it so the Backroom is inside the cliff face, to explain the lava sabotage.

Ok Iāve got an idea for a map. Itās basically mountain/volcano themed, and so there are three floors: highlands, cliffs and peaks. All players can witch from highlands to cliffs at certain points, but only certain roles can get to the peaks, as they are the venting mechanic on this map. The pigeon, certain ducks, the climber goose, and the eagle are the only ones who can climb to the peaks. The peaks are clouded in volcanic ash, so no one can see anything on that floor. (they are also unable to kill players while up there). All players can see whatās happening on a lower floor, but not vise versa.
New roles: climber goose: can climb to the peaks, but have the a time limit like the mechanic.
Eagle: neutral role
Simply, the eagle can pick up a player and drop them to kill them, and wins the same way as the falcon and pelican.
The eagle has the same win conditions as the falcon and pelican; to be the last one remaining. Instead of a kill button, the eagle has a grab button, which when pressed they will grab the nearest player within range, and will slowly fly upward, with limited sideways or forward movement. Once they get to the peak height they drop the player, cause blood to appear wherever is below them, then they fly back down. While flying up to the peaks, they can be killed, and the player they were carrying will drop, but not die.
I like the idea overall

BEACH MAP EPISODE - Water where you move slower/fish or and they can dive if they can vent - Run from crabs. Pelican can be relevant could be Seagull thats trying to undo tasks you're doing. (new role possibly?) build sandcastles - have to sunbathe for amount of time - fluff towels - get drinks and deliver them lots of options. can do a timer for how long you're allowed in the sun before needing shade/drink (could be a sab) death could be walking the plank or a shark coming to nom you (like the god on jungle map) OR the kraken Jason and the argunauts style :3

As someone with an engineering background - This style appeals to me. I feel like I am looking at a bank robbery scheme.

Sadly, the lake is not the best hiding spot to snoop from. Though out of the way, kills rarely seem to happen there in my experience.
Possibly because there's only one task out there so not much reason for geese to go there.

On the Mayan Map you can kind of see through the fog, if you are birdwatcher or you can look inside of it if you are Mimic or Pigeon ^^

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

I like how there can be a lot done with that map. I feel there could be some map specific roles that could interact with that morgue/graveyard mechanic
There always could be some sort of parkour goose, and maybe some kind of a duck that leaves its victims unable to be identified in the morgue and then given a nameless tombstone
a few ideas I've had for it is a duck which can puppet the dead from the morgue, and something that messes with the pigeon (like maybe there's a task which clears ppl of the condition if they use it while contaminated)

On one hand it gives it a soft confirmability, but on the other hand it makes it a lot more harmful than helpful. So even when it does get to do its situation thing it more likely to make the geese lose. 9/10 times a meeting is more valuable than learning a role.

Arcade idea.
Draft 3. Originally, this map was going to be a carnival with a roller coaster and a haunted house.
Feel free to make suggestions / adjustments, because as it currently is I feel its still not quite right.
The idea was for a more open map with more objects to block vision rather than specific rooms.
Regarding the Laser Tag Arena, I was looking for a room that was always pitch black and Walliam suggested:
Whenever you enter the area from one room (the entrance), your given a High-vis vest that only works in the arena
the exit door is one way, and the Emergency Exit door (the one that just pops you in the arena) doesn't give you the vest
Anyone can see a player in their normal vision radius with a High-Vis Vest on, even when they normally wouldn't because the lights are off (still can't see them if they're out of the radius, or if they're obstructed)
The ducks (and mimic) see in flashlight mode within the arena, and it acts like a lights sabbo for everyone else
Ok so the upper room would be the entryway, the lower door the exit, and the one on the right the Emergency Exit

After brainstorming with some friends, trying to come up with tasks / a reason to enter the laser tag arena, what if the room is controlled by a different light system?
Basically when the lights get sabotages, the room is unaffected and remains exactly how it was. The least safe room while lights are on, and the safest while lights are off.
That could be fun. It'd be similar to the campfire in Jungle once that task is done.
Still need to come up with a reason to go in there under normal circumstances though, because otherwise it's just a risk with little to no reward
Shoot targets? Move the spotlights? Change the fuse box? Even putting the light sabotage/fix there could work.
well if it's the room that benefits the ducks the best, it'd also be a good place to find them attempting a meeting

That's an idea, maybe instead of a switchboard where you flick the switches until the lights come back on, it's a simple fuse box, remove old fuse, insert new fuse, except you need to go get a fuse first

Maybe. I kinda wanted to use existing mechanics so there was less work for the devs while making such a map, but that's not a terrible idea either.
While I like the thought, it seems each map is getting more unique than the last and I thought it would be more thematic. It could be like something that already exists, just with a fresh coat of paint.

The rooms are too spacious
Oh yeah they are, but that's mostly because I've only drawn the wall outlines and I'm not great at scaling objects in relation to other objects.
Once you add the lost space for perspective as well as furniture and equipment, it's not as much space as you think.
I like it so far, what are the duck sabotages? In any case, its a good idea so I hope you keep working on it.
The duck win sabotage could be in laser tag, something like using it as a duck beacon that takes 4-10 minutes to make the geese lose, but the time starts back from when it was last fixed and only pauses during meetings instead of getting fixed. (Or maybe 40 seconds to fix if it gets called with less time then that remaining, with each recall reducing it by five seconds, down to 20 seconds)
Also some cheating tasks would be funny, like typing a cheat code into an arcade machine, or rigging the air hockey machine and stuffing a goal full so you canāt lose.
The duck win sabo would be overloading the electrical systems, risking an explosion or something. Kind of like using an extention cord to have 50 things plugged into 1 socket

I can guarantee you the international ratings commission considers casinos and simulated gambling worse than fake violence
In fact, Korea completely outlaws it. If your game contains elements of gambling or other things that appear to promote gambling, you cannot market it in Korea. I know this because I have had an app blocked in Korea for this exact reason.
Having some violence is fine, having some blood is fine. Those things combined will usually result in at worst a T rating (ESRB ratings are the ones I know, other countries use different systems.) Any kind of gambling simulated or not will always result in an M rating and a number of countries banning your game.
Splatoon 3 has a slot machine, which is essentially gambling. They're Nintendo though.
The catch there is that itās a gatcha machine, and everyone knows loot boxes donāt count 
I mean, itās just a system where some peopleās slave away at it for hours at a time, constantly feeding money into a randomized system, hoping that the next roll will finally be the one that makes it all worth it.

This is kinda getting off track, talking about the Casino idea when youāve decided to not do it, but loot boxes are banned in Japan (under deceptive practices rather than gambling) so Apex legends just gives them crafting materials when they do something that would earn them a loot box.

My first sketch up for a "modern" map taking place in the failing department store, Goslingson's.
An important feature of the map is the inclusion of the secret office, accessible by key, giving you access to the room for the rest of the game and use of the intercom (no task required). Walking into a changing room temporarily swaps your outfit with a random shirt/hat you own (more of a funny interaction rather than a gameplay mechanic). Hiding places return just because it seemed thematic, but I didn't really have any idea that could replace the vent system.
Some sabotage ideas:
Doors
Fires (in 2 places)
Flash sale: Sends a crowd of generic geese from to lobby to a random sale room, obstructing player's views, proximity chat, and tramples any corpses to an unreportable puddle.
Sad Child: Requires players to find a balloon to give to the crying baby goose at the toy section (just like feeding a god).

I love the new mechanics (secret office and Clothing swap) and I think they could add a good bit to the deduction of the game (for example: anyone who sees you in different clothes than you started with, automatically knows youāve been to the changing rooms that round)
Also I think you nailed the design of it, thereās enough places out of the way for ducks to kill in, but also a myriad of escape options 
I was worried about it being too small, but I think it can be compensated by scaling it up a little bigger but I was going for something around the size of mallard.
In terms of a map idea I was thinking of an office style building and call the map Gaggle Studios
It could also contain little Easter eggs or tasks themed around each person who works on the game as a little nod to the entire team

If I were to make a map (big if, Iāve really gotta focus on finishing things and have playing this game too much to the point of leaving a game this morning in the middle, though in my defence they already knew it was me but it still felt rude to do, and taking even one week off work seems to be putting them under a lot of pressure, even with me theyāre desperately understaffed)
What would work,, hospital, WW1/2 bunker, shopping mall, (or maybe just a fast food restaurant) tree top house (but like a massive tree top so its the size of a normal map) a farm
(We already have a space planet map right? If i recall thereās two on space ships, jungle, horror themed basement, mansion themed one that looks kinda like basement, the second map with the secret duck room, the olden day but post wild west town and some other two maps? Iām sleepy still.
If I end up making a map Iāll check out the in the works stuff and get familiar with all the current stuff, but I really liked your map and truely hope your ideas get used in the game.

A werewolf isn't a bird though. It's fine as a monster for ToT, but as a role it would need to be a bird of some sort to fit the theme of the game.

An aquarium map. Built similar to goose chapel or basement. Meaning it would have corridors and the individual rooms would be particular to aquatic life. Like a shark room. Gold fish room. Octopus room etc. A sabotage could be where when triggered a shark jumps out and chomps who ever is in the chomp radius. Door locking sabo. Room flooding sabo. But if the room floods , whom ever is in the vent of that room would die regardless of roll. Giant squid sabo could ink the characters in the blast radius , temporarily hindering their field of vision (similar to when you get inked in mario kart.)
The pregame lobby could be the gift shop with the character customization easily being represented by 2 small curtain change rooms.
Idk what goes into making a piece of art like ggd or how hard it is to execute ideas but the fish in the tanks wouldnt all have to be alive and moving all the time . Mayne just some stationary floating still in water or a fish particular to the fish room will swim by every 30 seconds or so.
Water levels are hands down some of the most memorable to me and favourited by other and i think it would be absolutely stellar to see some sort of water themed level.

If anyone here plays CS:GO, the following will make more sense: A big dome with holograms on the walls of it to simulate being on the moon or a different planet, it could be broken in spots so you can see the outside world, it would be completely different than the holograms, which has some good lore potential, the holograms would have to be realistic enough to trick people at first glance, but if you looked at it hard enough, you would be able to tell its fake.
I randomly wrote down a bunch of ideas for a map⦠itās quite a lot, but itās just some ideas I came up with:
Itās a mountain map with few walkable paths, and thereās a sabotage that causes an avalanche or rockslide which is like the chandelier in the mansion map.
There is a clearing at one part of the map where communication systems are set up, which could be a spot where a lot of tasks are nearby. In the clearing there could be a stream or pond to fish from, adding another task
There could also be a bridge to another mountain. This brings the opportunity for a task like putting new rope or place new wood plants on the bridge. There could also be a sabotage for the bridge. If someone is killed by a cliff-face the body will be thrown off the cliff.
This map could also allow for an eagle role, which I donāt have many ideas for, but Iām sure yāall can think of something.
There could also be a cave, or multiple, that could have tasks and act as the shelter for the geese, so there could be tents and a campfire in there. This could bring similar tasks from other maps.
And while there arenāt many paths, since maintains are really open places, there could be spots where higher up paths could look at other paths, like the pictures in The Basement, only bigger and/or have more in number
Since the mountain map could be high up, there could be a sabotage for either clouds to roll through and act like the fog in the town map (I forgot what itās called), or there could be fierce winds that push the geese (which could lead to someone falling off a cliff) and is difficult to walk against. While the wind is difficult to walk against, you could still walk slowly against it, and walk fast by walking with it, and certain spots protected by rocks or in a cave would be safe from the wind.
A task idea I forgot to add was a mining task of some sort

This next one is too long for a single message⦠so please bear with me
This next map is an arctic map
Basic map info:
As players walk around in the snow, they would leave footprint behind that ducks and neutrals could use to stalk and geese could use to find out where someone came from and find out if theyāre a killer.
However, players could walk through buildings to throw anyone following off their tracks.
All birds except for the Skua role (Iāll explain this later) will freeze to death if theyāre outside of a building for too long, including ducks and neutrals. Players wonāt be able to just stay in one building the whole time either as there will be multiple separate buildings and tasks outside. The only way to avoid freezing to death while stuck outside is by going to the campfire outside and lighting it with a match, which must first be found as a task in one of the buildings. The fire only stays lit for a minute.
Sabotage ideas:
- There could be a heating sabotage that breaks the heater and the geese have to fix it before they freeze to death
- The door closing sabotage
Task ideas:
- There could be a task to drill and examine a long cylinder of ice, so they can research ice formation over thousands of years
- Bringing in tasks from other maps like sweeping, delivering meals, taking care of lounge/crew bedroom, and growing plants (because they need food)
- A snow shoveling task
- A task for melting ice off machinery/windows
Role ideas (Iāll submit these in the role idea thread too):
- The Skua role is a neutral role that can stay in the cold for much longer amounts of time, and can get a small burst of speed before killing (which is activated with LShift). - I have two ideas of a name for this bird: Terror Bird, or itās modern relative, the Seriema. What if the jukebox in The Lounge could play the menu music themes that played when each map came out? I don't think you can hear this music anywhere else in the game, and those tracks are solid.
I believe they've mentioned considering having the music on the main menu be customizable from previous title themes. Would be neat in The Lounge if the jukebox did that for just your client. Otherwise you'd have people just swapping it constantly or trolling like that

This map idea isnāt quite as big as my others, but I like what I thought up:
Instead of the birds seeming human-sized in a mansion, they are now bird-sizes and in a garden.
The garden can have multiple levels. A level under the ground could be a burrow or something, and a level over the ground could be in the bushes, in a birdhouse, a birdbath, and/or a bird feeder
Sabotages:
- worm infestation: worms are all over the bushes and the birds need to get rid of all the worms
Role ideas:
- Hummingbird: a neutral role that collects flowers. Flowers have a chance to be dropped when someone does a task, or uses an ability (ex: the pigeon sneezing, invisible going invisible, sheriff killing). The hummingbird walks faster after not collecting a flower for a while. The win condition is to collect a certain amount of flowers which is dependent on the amount of tasks. There isnāt an arrow to point to a flower, and all players can see the flowers.
Task ideas:
- catching bugs
- Cleaning the bird bath
- Fixing a nest

It's like the hexagon that was mentioned briefly in the trailer a year ago, and a map based around that where ducks have invaded and cut all communications with the outside world and trapped the geese in the hexagon makes it a cool idea
last I heard, they still planned on eventually doing a remake of black swan by crashing it into a planet

Duck origin
This duck comes from a lake with a nuclear power plant sitting nearby. The duck was exposed to both radiation and electricity, giving it the ability to generate electrical charges. The duck would then seek revenge by using these charges to kill the geese that built the power plant. After getting revenge here, the duck decided to try and get rid of all geese.
General map description
Geese are working hard to keep the nuclear power plant from failing, but the ducks have access to more sabotages than before, meaning the geese need to work faster. The pit for birds voted off could be a vat of nuclear waste.
Map layout ideas
- Outside of the main building is a path to cooling tower(s) and a small pump house. Also outside the building is a transformer field to turn the generated power into useable electricity. There will also be a guard house at the entrance to the building.
- Inside the building are rooms for the storage of condensation, gas, water, and diesel. There is also a room for a diesel generator (why a power plant needs this idk, Iām just looking at floor plans).
- Another room will be used for radiation waste (and throwing out the votes players).
- Other necessary rooms include boilers, turbine generator room, standby water pump rooms, office, warehouse, and a control room.
Task ideas
- Managing temperature of the cooling towers (in control room)
- Checking worker IDās (guardhouse)
- Grabbing radiation suit (entrance to radiation waste room)
- Sorting chemicals/boxes/crates (warehouse)
- Testing pump condition (water pumps)
- Filling spreadsheets (office)
- Filing documents (office)
- Checking power generating rate (control room)
Sabotage ideas (how/where to stop sabotage in parenthesis)
- Overheating the cooling towers (fix temperature in the control room)
- Locking doors
- Turning out the lights (go to generator and flip fuses)
- Breaking water pumps and wires so the water is electrified (turn off pumps from control room, then repair the damage before turning them back on)
- Radiation leaking from waste containment (put on radiation suit and reseal waste containment barrels)

Despite there is a war from long ago in the game then here is one:
Ducks are now infiltrating the geese and they are doing killing them and blending in
Tasks: to geese they do stuff like reloading their weapons, get the supplies(ammo, bandages, etc.) and shooting ducks(target practice)
Sabotages: there will be lights and doors shut but there is a sabotage trap where there is a security room on the entrance of the bunker(where geese does security code) and the ducks can turn on the trap for the defend mechanism to kill anyone that is inside

Nexus Colony is the closest example of what I mean, where the vents are normal vents but the one in the shuttle is a snoop spot (though I think it still kicks you after 10 seconds)

I have a small Idea for a map?
An open space map on the ground, but not actually an OPENED place, like a zoo or a park, and the jail system could work on it either being locked on a small gate when it comes to a park or locked in on one of the animal's cage, not saying that the zoo HAVE to have the animals in it but depends on people. I think I would loce to see more fresh green area on GGD, it doesn't have to be a part or a zoo, but I'm sure you get what I mean?

No Duck's Land. In an old battleground abandoned after the modern duck/geese wars, the birds seek to salvage what remains of their fallen comrades and clean up the debris left. Especially the vulture, this place made their mouth water. Venting locations could be abandoned dark trenches that once were used to penetrate enemy lines.

Maybe Viking towns could have a sabotage that triggers some kind of Viking raid on the city. The way I imagine it working would be simplistic AI colorless Viking NPCs that home in on the nearest player (but they can't kill ducks, and they move at half speed of players, and they can't go in buildings with locked doors. Maybe geese can manually and temporarily lock individual house doors if they know a raid is coming)
And raids would only last a short time, too

heve you ever thought of doing a map similar to a "FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDIES" or a "CHUCKIE CHEESES"? think about it. many rooms to do tasks in. vents everywhere to use. its got a camera room and lights to mess with. you could add tasks like wind the music box or serve the pizzas. i suggested this to the AMONG US guys but they never answered me back. also i bet maybe SCOTT CAWTHON (the guy who made FNAF) himself might even be up to a collab for this level design if you contacted him about it. heck i bet he even plays this game too!!!

Maps take too much effort to make them feel relatively seasonal, not to mention that some players of the game don't celebrate some of these holidays. Maps should be more or less timeless.
Well in that case, what about a park map which changes based on the season/holiday? 
I think a map that had different seasons could be cool, but I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement.
It's also possible they've avoided having multiple versions of the same map because of concerns with bugs or glitches. Each version of the map would have to be tested. While Jungle Temple has two versions, it's a difference of one sprite that players can't directly interact with.

Regarding the seasonal idea, maybe some map could have a snow effect overlay during winter and leaves falling during autumn. It might be weird in the desert or on a ship, but could fit for Goosechapel.

On a bit of a Project: Winter high right now. What if there was an arctic map that drained you in some way while you are outside, so you will occationally have to take shelter in either a large cabin in the middle of the map, or in smaller bunkers scattered around the map to get yourself healthy again.
Even if it isn't this in depth, I would love to see an arctic or at the very least a winter themed map at some point.

Those just reduce visibility, I was thinking something actually dangerous for this one but still trying to think of what that could be.
Perhaps a snowstorm could occur when you're outside, and a counter appears which gives you a certain amount of seconds to seek shelter before you freeze to death?

The map is based on home alone where geese is committing a heist in a random mansion, but ducks are preventing it and the neutrals are trying to stay in the mansion or taking over it

Having an environment that can kill is a bit hard when you only have 1HP. Perhaps it could be done, but similar to the locusts sabotage, you'd have to be in it for a while. And a door sabotage at the same time would be unfair.
Of course at least one role would be spared from it. Maybe just the adventurer, or a special role specifically immune to cold.
I think it could be pulled off, assuming the victims get a big counter that's impossible to overlook.
If they get out in time, they'll survive.
A factory map.
Hear me out, a space station that has some tubes that connect with different rooms, and the layout will look very interesting. You can't kill in the tubes and they can be accessed by all roles. There can be vents for the ducks, pigeon and engineer for them to only use too.
If you can't kill somewhere, people are just going to stand there all game
I was assuming the tubes were pneumatic, shooting you off to the various destinations.
Another map idea I have is a goose naval ship during the 20 year goose duck war where ducks and neutrals have infiltrated the ship and try to take over it

This is a joke but it will be a gym map
I'd love to see a more outdoors- "Campgrounds" map? That would be cool for Halloween running around and avoiding any ducks. You can set up tents. Start fires. Maybe remove snakes from your equipment? The border to the map could be a wooden fence bordering the camp ground that you just can't exit from. More trees for player to potentially hide behind? Maybe a wood chopping task? Lighting oil lanters? Or possible have it similar to the mansion map were it's a small cabin centered in the woods with some smaller tents surrounding.
The dessert map has an amazing balance of wide open space along soce several areas to hide in that I'd love to see implemented in other future maps. Nothing too big or too small. Also- the mummy mode its hilarious and if the campg. Ground is made possible may I suggest adding a similar feature? Maybe summon a werewolf? Or a -" jason" duck? Either way ^-^

And if there are multiple map ideas that developers maybe want a better idea of what should be a new map- say there 5 map ideas you would like to implement but can only focus on one to develop-[ pick 1 out of 5 ideas] - may I suggest a voting/poleing public option? This can also me used for other ideas where the most votes [voted] item/theme/option wins and get implemented into the game system and where you can allow players to vote on the next map idea/Theme/cosmetic?- etc.
This is somewhat limiting to players who do not have discord but allows you to hear direct feedback and public opinion from us and our ideas of what we would like to see next in the game ^-^

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

I can't imagine it's a priority. In a way I like the idea of it never being revamped. It fits the theme of the map's lore.

Whether people like Blackswan the way it is, would seriously play the revamp, or just don't play the map at all could make for an interesting question in #polls
If a circus themed map is actually possible to make, besides the mirror maze, maybe a Ferris wheel could be put in as well.For example, a Ferris wheel with 5 chambers spinning all the way around at the edge of the map. From what I've seen, it's pretty rare for people to play Blackswan.
I think a revamp might make it more popular, granted it's fun enough.
Perhaps there is too much repetition, as the Black Swan, the Airship and the Colony are all somewhat similar in terms of look and feel. The Black Swan, on the other hand, feels like a crumbling version of the Airship map.

It does give the map a distinct feel, different from the clean Mother Goose and Nexus.

I've been thinking about a map that takes place on a mall
I believe the developers want to do an 80s mall theme at some point
For an area like that to be so compact looks really good and I'm excited to see what the final will look like

There's four sabotages:
Chandelier -> It happens in both 1F and 2F room areas (Sabotage is unlocked in 2F)
Fountain -> It happens on the garden (Sabotage is unlocked at the fountain in the Great Hall)
Fire -> It can happen on the Kitchen, Bar or 3 of the rooms of 1F or 2F (Unlocked at Kitchen)
Freeze Room -> Enviromental kill. Ducks can trap Geese/Neutrals/Ducks inside that room, if these stay for 10 seconds they will freeze and die.
The TV icon is where you can watch cameras, obviously a random geese will have to activate them first.

Very refreshing to see a map idea that has an actual idea for a map. I would love to see a multi-floor map like this at some point.
I wonder how much multiple floors really change anything. But I like the idea of some way they could interact like being able to see the lobby of the first floor from the 2nd or being able to throw a body off to the ground floor.
My only question is how abilities like the Vuluture, Dueling Dodo, and Serial Killer would work on a 2-floor map. These abilities rely on everything being on the same plane.
Well, if you are in 1F
The arrow will point to the stairs
and viceversa if you are in 2F
I had an idea (a few actually, all still in my head) for a multi floor map, the simplest solution to that was the arrow initially points to the elevator /stairs etc which then take you to the second floor and from there it points you in the right direction
Or, keep the arrow like it is and if they're on another floor, just add ā¬ļø or ā¬ļø beside the normal arrow
They could also kind of do what Suspects did and just have it look like it's multiple floors while actually being one flat 2D map.
How does that work? They are all like seperate mini maps?
Imagine Nexus, if the right side of the map was the "second floor"
Ah so the āstairsā are effectively teleports behind the scenes. I guess thatās a good way of doing it but I feel like it still has the same problem with the arrows not being very clear unless they get changed to accomodate additional floors.

In the game I was talking about, there are 3 isolated sections and they are connected at the sides. So even though it's completely flat, it gives the illusion of going up and down floors.

On the goose chapel map, can we have a shark in the boat dock? Like the other map, you can die by shuttle, you can die by shark

Iām thinking add a duck's mission, when it is activated, all alive players' movement keyboard will be reversed. Like when people press up they actually go down
They did something similar during April last year. It is much more difficult to pull off on mobile if I recall correctly
This is not a great design because there is no looping pathways. You need to start with a figure 8 and build out from there.
It would be too easy to find killers because there is one way in and out of everywhere
I plan to redesign it and add at least two escape ways on each floor

And then you could have scarecrow duck role or similar to kill inside the crop

A doctor who themed map it where you're inside of the Tartarus you can see the main door at the top and you can head to the cardinal directions one of the sabotagers in the map is Flushing The West Wing septic all over it kill the geese....

BBC is happy with cameos for Doctor Who they actually encouraged it in their interview back in 2015 for anyone who wants to use it go for it as long as they don't try to change the law in Doctor Who

Maybe a Tardis is too specific a reference, but it's definitely possible to have a "bigger on the inside" building concept, if one could create that without breaking the engine too much. Fairy buildings are often said to have larger interiors than their exterior suggests.
I imagine there could be such a kill animation of like sliding into a wall and dying, but having their corpses move into the actual wall would be something else entirely

Theres no reason we couldn't. I would assume, so its more than just a different look, the water also changes your movement speed, similar to how Undertaker walks at half speed while dragging a corpse or the mummy thralls each slow you down by 33% while stacked on you
Not a room idea but how about a laundry chute that can throw bodies from higher floors down to the laundry room?
I had an idea for a hotel type map. Most of it is scribbled down at home (I'm 1000km away) but a laundry chute was one idea I had for it.
Having more than one "sole survivor" neutral will likely be something we'll only see in an alternate gamemode

What about making all the hotel rooms adjoining ones, so you can travel from one to the other without going into the hall? I've been in quite a few hotel rooms with an adjoining door option, and it'd add more loops for killers to escape.
16 players is the current limit because of the demands of having 16 people transmitting sound during one meeting. Even this strains some devices, and it can be chaotic having just 16 voices try to talk all at once.

Ducks can make the floor slippery to hinder movement of geese, sabotage lasts at least 30 seconds.
Fire (Unlocked at Kitchen)
Up to 3 locations can be set on fire, geese must approach the extinguisher from the areas on fire to put the fire down, ducks win if the timer ends.
Sabotages in 1F
Fountain (Unlocked at Courtyard)
Ducks can poison up the fountain at the courtyard, ducks win if the timer ends.
Sabotages in 2F
Freeze Room (Enviromental Kill, always available)
Ducks can close up the freeze room to trap geese inside them. If a geese stays in room for at least 15 seconds, this one will freeze to death.
Lights (Unlocked at Electrical)
Ducks can turn off the lights to complicate the vision of Geese/Neutrals
Chandelier (Unlocked at 2F, not available if fountain sabotage is active)
Ducks can drop a chandelier onto the Bar/Casino area, I think I don't need to explain what happens if anyone is caught in the chandelier area.
Notes:
- Rooms are connected each other with a secret door that only ducks can use (Marked with yellow)
- Undertaker Duck can hide corpses by throwing them to the pool or by throwing them to the tray at 2F that leads to the Laundry room at 1F
- Cameras must be unlocked first before being able to be seen at Security (a la spaceship related map tasks)
- You can see what happens at 1F from the balcony or the area above the Bar/Casino at 2F

Maybe if there were an 80s themed mall map, there could be a few spots on the map with payphones where you could talk to someone on the other part of the map

Rooms can be closed from the inside by ducks, no one can open them unless you are the Concierge.
So Concierge is a role that can only unlock doors from the outside? Seems like the opposite of the Street Urchin.
What if there was a duck role which let you tunnel between the 2 floors (at expense of not being able to use the secret doors)
Is it possible to create a map of high-rise buildings? I mean, it's not just a plane map. You can take the elevator on multi-storey floors

This is a fun concept and I love the way you styled and drew out your idea 
Only suggestion would be to put a vent in the Post Room & O2. Because theyāre dead ends, most Ducks will avoid them as thereās only one way in/out of those areas (which mean that theyāre guaranteed to get blamed for a kill if theyāre seen walking out of there)
Other than that though, Iād say this is a pretty well designed map

Not sure if you'd consider the lobbies "maps" but a nice quality of life feature would be having the "Pet of the Week" shown in game lobbies. Or even if it showed in the closets under the pet tab would be nice (if coding is easier that way).

I would love to have a nostalgic map. Like first public version of SS Mothergoose. (With Ducktor Whoās chair!) maybe exclusive old roles/role abilities just for that map
There really wasnāt awfully much different besides the shape and the lack of a jail. There are reasons why things got changed.
The biggest difference I can recall off the top of my head is the original sabotages. The fire sabotage was different and there used to be a communications sabotage
And everyone knows how great those are

there was no sabotages to split people up
and comms.. i never wanted to use it again because people would just think that there was a bug even if their screen was flashing
