Is it possible to make one neutral know who the other neutrals are?
Like the ducks can?
Each neutral is on their own team, and have their own objectives.
The only neutral who can learn another neutral role through in-game mechanics is the dueling dodo, and that is generally to get the other dodo killed.
It would be unbalanced for the other neutrals if someone could just tell who they were
That would affect the balance, after all, everyone is afraid of pelicans and pigeons
Can the pigeon's skills be set so that it must be near a player for a period of time then it can infect that player?
Now passing pigeons can be infected by him
Pigeon is fairly balanced. Devs would know the actual win rate, but that would be a HUGE nerf to the Pigeon.
Achievements:
Vermin hunter - manage to get all mice knocked out consecutive on every map(itās not āin a rowā so itās ok if you did mess up)
Silent but deadly: fart 500 times
Is that you mummy? - as a adventurer make a mummy touch you without dying
There is a prop with a heart in the game, hoping to produce a broken heart fart
A Left 4 Dead esque closing screen that rolls like movie credits with fun stats. Tasks done, kills, bodies reported, etc.
I love your creativity, but I don't think they can make achievements that span multiple games if the progress cannot simply be ticked up incrementally. I also think they would have to add some code for the mummy one. As it is, the Adventurer is an probably coded as an exception for the mummy; it literally cannot kill it them and does not know where they are. This explains why the mummy also does not trigger the adventurer ability.
but itās fun to come up with achievements so itās alright
Hi, is it possible to consider adjusting the number of tasks that the goose players need to complete in private game. For example, in a game with a small number of players (like 8-10), most goose players will not completing tasks. They would like to talk in group. Its not good. They think it's more cost effective to win by voting in meeting stage. So I think you guys can adjust the amount of tasks that goose players need to complete. That way, They don't get obsessed with the voting time, but instead think about getting tasks done quickly and winning.
Not doing tasks is a horrible idea anyway, as that gives ducks as much time as they want to do what they want. Randomly voting someone makes it much more likely that you kill an innocent or worse, a dodo.
Regardless of task list size.
Yeaā¦if doing something like 1 task only then the ducks/neutral wonāt reach to their win condition
Role swapping. At the beginning of each round (where possible, like draft) you can offer to exchange roles. The other person can then approve and get the roles swapped.
The trick is, neither trading side will know the role they are receiving nor the name of the person they have traded with.
The roles in the match would remain the same and no one would know any more than they already do.
Just a fun small mechanic thay essentially offers people a second chance if they dont like the role they have been assigned. If you dont like the new role either, oh well, sucks to be you
wait wait wait waitā¦
You are telling meā¦
A goose can be a duck and a duck can be a goose
Not for classic obv
Sounds like Draft with extra steps
Exactly
An extra step to the draft sounds about right yes
I promised ideas I didn't say they will be good
Wonāt the A person shares a role with someone and then B doesnāt know who wanted to trade
But the A knows who is because they traded a role
Well A would know they traded away Sheriff and B would know they traded away Assassin.
But the pop-up would be like:
"A player has proposed a trade, do you accept"
And then the roles are just swapped between A and B
B wouldnt know what they are receiving either
But if B accepted the trade
Then A will fully snipe B with guess and thatās it
A will claim sheriff
I mean thats a good point like I said I didnt say my ideas gon be goood
I will now retreat and come back with more ideas
same buddy
Includes yourself
All ideas are valid. Not all ideas fit the game, but they may inspire other ideas or the community might discuss how to make the idea for better and who knows, things might get added.
Several things in the game currently were originally inspired by ideas submitted by the community.
One day, in a fit of saltiness after losing as vulture to a pigeon when I was one body away, I said that vulture would be cool if it could eat a living player. The next day, the basement was released with the Pelican. Obviously I was the one that brought us here.
achievement: "Out of Stock" or "Big Spender" Exhaust all non-coin items in a claw machine
also, the claw machines should say on them before you buy them how many tokens they require per claw pick
But I donāt wanna waste all my tokens
Is it really wasting if you get the same stuff from using them vs using them?
badge idea: detect that someone killed, get them voted out in the next round, but they were sheriff/vigi/avenger (unless is always an angel for geese, idk if thats how it works or not)
Idea for the ancient sands map:
the last person to be voted takes over the mummy making use of the whole mummifciation animation.
First mummy spawn is a bot like usual
My ideia: A sabotage that on some maps could replace the turn off the lights. I have 2 versions of it.
1- For about 3 seconds, the lights are completely off and nobody, except the ducks, sees absolutely nothing, not even what is slightly close, giving the ducks the opportunity to kill.
2- When the sabotage is done, all players are anonymous, without clothes, with a default color of gray, and without a name, so the ducks or the hawk can kill, but they must be careful, because the sabotage must be short, and cannot be followed
it sounds cool, but it would suffer from "metagaming", because the mummy is supposed to be this bloodthirsty faction-less monster. If a duck gets voted out, you can guarantee that he'll be focusing geese, and when a goose gets voted out, he'll just not kill anyone which feels bad as a duck calling sabotages.
I mean most people would kill whoever they feel like anyway, it would still serve the purpose of a mummy. Maybe add a sort of if they don't kill after a certain amount of time it just despawn
Could you make hats also available with silver coins? There are so cool ones but I canāt spend my student loan on a game :/
any chance to add a function where you can tagged people during meeting so you can memorize their role
when your mummy you could not hear anyone, everyone being clothless and greyed out, and you cant see users to keep people anonymous
Oh that's perfect they already have thats already animated too won't be much work. Maybe remove sound so they can't pinpoint specific players
idea: falcon can vent but with 1: a much larger cooldown and 2: cant vent during falcon hunt
idea: maybe can add the ms(network delay) render when player in room?
But if a goose is the first killed, why would the ducks ever call that sabotage?
Hats and pets are how this game pays the bills to keep hosting! There are lots of clothes you can wear for silver coins, but hats and pets show your true dedication.
I see your point but not everyone who loves the game can afford to pay for cool stuff tho. But you are right. If you can you should have the option to have āexclusiveā stuff
It's OK if you can't afford to pay. The devs love all the love and attention they get, and you can help out just by spreading the good word.
Free hats AND free game AND feeding themselves AND paying for their own housing AND paying coders and artists AND paying for server is a bit sticky... But there have been promos from time to time. Keep track of the announcements would be my best suggestion. My first hat I payed a few dollars for and used a while till a better financial situation came about for me.
I have a Steel series hat that was from just going to a website during a campaign. As an example. Also unlock the blue claw machine ASAP. You will get gold occasionally through logins or other means and it's 100g one time... Every hat in there and added in the future... forever. You then have the ability to spend blue tokens you farm in game. Not the best of the best but the best free option
To kill more geese?
Idk where this idea should be posted, but is there a chance bell will become inactive during the mummy sab? Even as a non-duck Iām annoyed by it š
probably not, many people like being able to call the bell to stop themselves from being murdered
Maybe a time limit? People camp the bell, right?
I mean, if you are dead, you can wait until a player is close to the sarcophagus to call the mummy. Then it works more like a map kill, and you'll probably kill them before a bell can be called.
The mummy is the Ancient Sands equivalent of the Jungle Temple Boulder environmental sabotage, just the mummy has some pathing programmed into it, so it doesn't just go in a straight line
make it so that flashlight mode flashes to where your mouse cursor is
making the flashlight move based on wasd is a pain in the ass
But in Classic and Draft, there's no team swapping. People kill other villagers in Trick or Treat because thralls count as team swapping, but that's not Classic, so it's fine. Most geese wouldn't be killing other geese, at least if they want to win.
Well someone suggested a fix for that, black and white view like the Astral. Maybe they're also somewhat forced to kill. @rare flame
Thing is, if there's a human mind behind the controls, you can't force a character to do anything. Maybe the duck calls the sabotage, and the first dead decided to go to the bathroom or something while waiting for the sabotage, then the mummy just stands there. I appreciate your sentiment, but I prefer the way the mummy currently works, flaws and all.
Well I mean they could make it if it touches someone they die, so they can somewhat force their hand.
Like it already does basically
I'm sure if it was human-controlled, it would be a touch-kill method just like it is now. No cooldown, just death. That doesn't mean you can make them walk, though.
Can if they idle too long
Just resorts to the bot method
Always a way around an issue
But then it's just what we currently have, with a delay before it starts moving
badge idea: kill as a goose, get detected as a killer, then get voted out in the next round
or the detective gets the badge
the name could be along the lines of thinking that it was them but it not being them
That's just if they afk, frankly if they knew they could control the mummy on ancient sands the percentage of idles would probably drop. People like killing at random more than some think lol
This is already in the game, except for the detective getting a detected killer out. Not sure the reverse is a useful achievement.
Possibly add lower grade items to the cog system, maybe the implementing a trade system into getting higher grade or lower grade cog, itās quite hard to get a few items unless you play at least 50+ hours of pure gameplay tasks
Any chance to add a function during meetings to tag people with roles you think they have? is quite confusing sometimes to remember them all in a 16 player game.
My friend group really wishes we could, as undertaker, feed bodies to the crocodile on ancient sands š
That would be fun
well it being a killer is how it usually is, its a lot more rare for you to detect a goose killing
Hello Devs, I would like to suggest having visible statistics about Game History where you can click somewhere to see the game history and see details like win/loss and player name and role and what they did as imposter and what they do in every meeting.
This would help player to look back and see how the game actually went and also make players to stay to the game instead of come-and-go and forget about the game, we want to make people remember the game
That would be pretty neat! I think the devs have considered it for a future quality of life enhancement
For example
I use a game which is relevantly similar
The events are split into first meeting / second meeting and so on
As you can see each person is numbered and labelled as their individual role, to make it rememberable the events that happened last game ... Or even a few game before
This would also please the wide Chinese audience that's currently majority in this game, as they want to play this game and spend money on a game that stays interesting, relevant and stable.
I'm a goose goose duck enjoyer so here's an idea to help Devs, but also server is the main issue now I'm still waiting to login
Iām not sure how possible it would be to list every single thing that happens over the course of a game, but I could totally see an stats screen beyond the trophies and being able to see your records.
You should seriously make some figurines and copyright, trademark and patent Ducktor Who stuff
Would have to be a collaboration with the IP holder, know anyone?
Now that I think of it, why isn't this smthn that was considered given undertaker is in the map. From the embalmer's hut to the boat the various sarcophagi and crocs. There's so many options to efficiently utilize the undertaker's skills
you can check badges for those: for win/loss ratio check the badges for games played and games won, and for games won with certain roles, again, check the badges
As best I know, it was considered and they decided against it
there's enough griefing in the game without people worrying about whether their stats being ruined. win or lose, just move on to the next game.
have you seen people act as avenger?! they kill just to get the kill, right or wrong
And then report and say so and so killed... and so did i... but kill so and so. Lmao
With how little it happens, I wouldnāt blame the avenger. Like really, how often does that happen?
I have often seen the avenger going around offering their services to whoever has a gun, advertising double kills.
I feel like this behaviour is borne more out of a desire to use the ability than merely wanton murder. I'm not saying no one would devastate a map if given mummy powers, but as it's a duck tool, a goose is just as likely to grief by not movie.
You don't get the point
In some country, Goose duck is recognized as a new game. But In korea, Goose duck users are already matured. So, In korean server, We need to make new culture for new users. The respectation for new users is not exist (or the culture is not immature). So I suggest If new user join the game, Can you give them some cloth or sign for new users? If people recognize some one is new one, We can respect their behavior.
Currently in the settings screen (where you can change volume of individual players) it shows you what level each player is at. It is a good guide for helping the new comers and offering them a little grace when they make an amateur mistake. I hope this helps.
Alternatively, you could acknowledge that even experienced players make mistakes, and allow grace in these situations
Never!!! Haha we kick out falcons and pelicans first meeting in lobby! Lmao
I've luckily not seen that yet, sounds messed up to me. A bit like Sheriffs/Vigis instantly killing people at the start of the game without reason. Just bad manners at that point.
Now that I think about it: allowing dead players to control the mummy would qualify as "communication with the dead". Because if the mummy sabo is called and the dead player controlling it doesn't move, that communicates to the rest that they were innocent.
One of those things that is best left to an unbiased AI
Suggestion: Most games in China will have the first recharge to get a skin or props, etc. I suggest Goose Goose Duck to add an activity of choosing one of the first recharge skins The price can be set to 1$ I believe that players, including me, are willing to pay 1$ to get a delicate skin You can regularly discount items in the mall Maybe some people like one or more skins in the mall, but the price is too expensive to buy If it can be discounted, I believe it will be made for players who like this skin and do not want to miss it when they see the discount I love this game It has already beaten most games under the conditions of gameplay and developer attitude I hope Goose Goose Duck will get better and better (I hope developers will adopt it)
I mean, voting them out first is different from kicking them from the lobby. Just saying...
In addition to what DizzyCheetah and d20dad said, new players will often show up naked, or maybe with just a simple shirt on. However, rather than have the new people flagged as new, it seems better to treat everyone with respect and kindness when first meeting them. And there's no better way to change others' behaviour than by acting the way you want to see others do so.
Does the game not display the UI button of the room yet? For example displays all the rooms that are full or not full in the same language. Because of the delay, when I enter the room, I will return to the main menu because the room is full, and there are few rooms to refresh the display
It actually would be neat if you could see if a lobby is full in the friends list.
Currently, you can join them but you have to hope that it's not full. Being able to see that beforehand would be helpful.
I forgot what the name of the achievement for the locksmith is. But to get the cool card with the keyhole on it, you should count unlocking doors as street urchin.
Or make a different achievements entirely for the street urchin course that'll require rewording the achievement
Unlocking doors as the locksmith is very different from picking locks in Ancient Sands. Picking locks should definitely be a separate achievement, and I don't think there's a way to tell between picking locks from the inside versus picking locks outside.
The requirement of unlocking doors as it stands now is a steep one. You have to race to the jail (after waiting for someone to be thrown in) and hope that you beat anyone who picked up a key on the way. That's assuming that you even want to let the jailed bird out-if you think they are a duck or falcon, you might not. Unlocking doors from the inside vs. the outside is essentially the same concept. On top of that, who actually wants to be the locksmith?
I've seen locksmith picked by a few people, discounting the times I've done it myself. It may not be the most popular role, but it has its place.
And I was meaning that picking a lock is the same no matter which side of the door you're on. I don't think it flags if it's from inside or outside, but others might see to have you confirm your role. More than that, the door sabotage isn't used by many ducks on Sands from what I've seen, but that's more of a meta problem.
Idea: Can we let the party use the party on themselves?
After this huge massive shutdown and upkeep,
would there have anything to remember this event?
(maybe an achievement named āEscaped from the Blackholeā

just a propose
Not being able to party themselves is a big part of figuring out who they are
I honestly don't understand how Party is at all useful. Pretty sure it's just designed to be fun. I don't feel like it adds any benefit to the ducks.
Frequently derails meetings
I've seen party derail so many meetings, saving themselves and their partners
I always use it to give my partner Ducks alibis personally
yeah exactly, people get caught up laughing that they forget to play haha
What about players dedicated servers? We already know about attacks and server's highload, and I suggest to make users ability to host the server and invite friends to this for play in GGD without general server connection. Its also can be useful for players with 200-300 ping from remote areas. There aren't cosmetics and any paid things in host servers, but players can play like anyone else on the official server. I think its very cool for players, and can have promoting effect in new countries and regions with a bad connection to the official servers. SRY for my english
My random idea is 20 player lobbies with 4 or 5 ducks for the main total of ducks that also comes with 5 neutrals at a time
Some users, particularly on mobile, already have a hard time with just 16 players due to voice chat and latency. 20 players would exacerbate that issue
There goes that idea then
Also, 20 people trying to get their point across all at once would be a madhouse XD
š«”
Yeah that makes sense
Why is the falcon not on all maps?
The pelican replaced it on a couple
nom nom nom
I know it's not ideal but like they could just exclude mobile players from lobby with over 16 players
And people with lower end PCs who might have trouble with the game as it is?
Do people on pc have issues at all? Sheesh
There is also the bandwidth increase to consider and how much more pressure that would add to the server
Concisely, 16 is a good balance. More players creates more chaos in meetings, more balancing considerations for lobby hosts, and more difficulty for players on slower connections.
I meeaaan more chaotic meetings is fun sometimes
A public lobby with 16+ players will sound like a 4th grade classroom when thereās a subsitute teacher.
ć ć ć ć ć ć so true
Iām gonna use this as a comparison from now on
Need an ID anonymous mode, now live audit policy has changed
nekdo cz hrat ?
In games where you can spectate on the Ancient Sands map. Maybe allow people to see the perspective of the Mummy after it's summoned? Not sure if that's an easy thing on a technical level.
they arent a player
there was an idea a long time ago where we'd have something like the mummy
but we'd let spectators sort of drive them
any chance to add a confirm button when voting

No idea if this has been suggestion before.
Can we have rep+ system where we can see player behaviour in player tab. Player can rep simple thumbup or thumbdown that player once. Positive or Negative. That way, If player like me wanna know if that person has been toxic so I can just leave ASAP before game start :/
(I know it can be abusable at some point but I don't think it wont break the game much)
It's more than a little abusable
people could easily just spam down vote someone and make it so they can't play with anyone cause they'll assume it's true
Goose Goose Duck Black Mirror Episode?
Lol, that'd be weird but yolo
will be ready with popcorn
Is there no vampire mode in the filter button
?It just has 4mode,imean dressing by screening
Vampire mode is called "Trick or Treat" and is only available on Mallard Manor, Goosechapel, or The Basement.
Hello, I'm a Chinese player. I don't think there should be silver coins in the egg twisting machine, especially the purple and gold egg twisting machines. They should not have silver coins. After all, the probability of getting purple and gold coins is very small. I think they are suitable for more valuable things.
Along with Hanging Out Lounge,i was wondering can Ducks & Gooses sit down if that's added?
Sitting in the bar,Sitting on sofa and any seats spot around the Lounge.
You blocked the chinese servers and now thay are inundating english servers
As was recommended last night, you have the option to create private rooms
As was recommended last night, the LFG channels exist to find players or lobbies to join
This is ridiculous. Hosts are having to kick people left amd right

Hosts ALSO have the option to lock their lobbies
Hosts have all the powers to create the experience they want
? Sometimes people do make mistakes and join different language lobbies, this aint their fault
Plz dont make this a region issue
@long ledge I'm going to recommend you consider the various suggestions you've been offered last night and today. If you need support, please open a ticket in #troubleshooting-and-bug-reports
Can we see our friends' NAME and code once they are in our list
otherwise we easily forgot who they are
I recommend increasing the cooldown on Mummy kills because it's just too strong. I just played a game where 80% of the players were killed by mummies. My opinion is that after killing someone, stay still for about 10 seconds.
I'm a Chinese player and I use Google Translate, so it might seem strange.
It was easy to understand!
There is another opinion, hoping to strengthen the scope of superpowers. Since playing this game, it feels like the superpowers have not played a role.
Thanks Reply
Are there specific abilities you feel need to be stronger? Or do you have ideas to make them stronger without being TOO strong?
I think his "superpower" means the role Esper. Yet i think it fits the game.
Roles are constantly being monitored by the team, and will be adjusted if the data indicate that a change is needed
I have mixed opinions.
The first opinion is to add a long cooldown passive skill (full map) that automatically blocks when ducks destroy certain items.
The second opinion is to expand the scope.
The third opinion is that it can only be triggered once per round (full map) to prevent destruction.
A third opinion can add a probability
If my opinion is lucky enough to be adopted, or give developers some inspiration. Then I will be very honored.
@rich dagger I found a bug.
I'm disconnected, and when I reconnect, I can talk to the dead players.
...
petition to bring back the GGD plushies with in game cosmetics
Sorry a while ago we made a petition to end all petitions and it passed
but don't worry we are working on merchandising
as to when...
As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.
Gravy Goose should award arcade tokens
Wouldnāt that make it a Gamer Goose?
New role idea, perhaps
This might have been suggested before, and if it was then I am sorry.
I noticed that the newer roles like the serial killer, pelican, etc only have achievements for winning as that role a number of times. The other roles often have achievements focused on them that isn't just win 75 games. Maybe these newer roles can also get some love in that manner?
Like kill X players with Locusts as Warlock, win as serial killer while only killing people that are marked, have X living birds in your belly at the same time as pelican as a few examples.
A serial killer achievement that involves winning with your original target still alive could be tricky but fun one.
I think a better example for the Serial Killer is getting the cooldown to a certain number, which does the same thing but is a more definite mark.
With the pelican, though, it gets hard to track since they're still counted as alive, and I'm not sure if there's a way to track how many are in the belly unless you win as the pelican.
You could code in an invisible counter that goes up by 1 each swallow and resets to 0 each meeting. At least that's how I would do it.
Could also maybe do something like "Kill X people at once" for pelican
Would be fun, but you'd have to either rely on luck or actuvely guard them so a random people doesn't kill them for you. I think a "never kill your target" would be more fitting for something of that theme.
I think there's more Achievements planned. Just have to wait and see what they come out with
åä½nameę麼起漢å
The only term I know for the characters is "kanji", but that's a Japanese term. What do Chinese people call them? (Also, what does it have to do with general ideas?)
The chinese name for them is Hanzi (ę±å/ę¼¢å)
I don't see a room???
Try adjusting your search filters. Also this channel isn't the best place for troubleshooting.
Due to the special situation during live broadcast, I hope that when creating a private room, I can add a password for the private. For new players, they can speak and display the name in the game only after the owner agrees
Personally think it would be nice to buy things for people your friended with, maybe have been friended with them for X amount of days so little kids don't get scammed by someone wanting something. But being able to gift cosmetics I think would be neat.
It has been previously mentioned. It might be possible if the item requires gold to buy, but in an effort to prevent account farming, it likely won't ever be available for silver or other ways.
Currently, you're able to gift gold to friends via the official website. Select "is this a gift" while checking out and enter either their friend ID or a gift code which they can redeem at the website or in game via the redeem option
Could the gravy goose get the old esperās passive as well?
Could you add maybe colour names? especially for white and cream are too often mistunderstandings. same with the 3 types of pink. not gonna lie it usally leads to a lot of grief for accidently wrong voted persons (not me being mad cause that happened to me just right now while typing that)
hello, i have an issue, in my android phone after i login i cant see my contacts icon so i can add my friends, and actually i cannot see my tag and code neither
A good reason why I like to refer to people by name instead of color, though that isn't possible every time
Not gonna lie. First time I rage quitted today.
I do agree giving the colours a name to standardize them would help. We'll still likely have moments of "do you mean green or lime", but it'll be less confusing, especially to newer players.
Have you completed the tutorial? It can also taken a few minutes for the friends button to pop up.
Coming soon
Mini-game idea for Lounge: Get the worm! Do tasks in order to get the worm in the centre. However you can freeze yourself from your tasks for 20 seconds to add 3 tasks to everyone elseās list after youāve completed 2-5. (Host can set # of tasks and that number is dependent on that #) The player who finishes tasks first and clicks on the worm wins.
I just want an excuse to have on my screen to say ā[Player] was the early bird and got the worm!ā In GGD, ok?
good enough reason for that
I'm down for a Get the Worm minigame in the lounge, but the how probably needs to be worked on. What, are you going to put tasks all over the lounge?
So, I see a crocodile on the new sand map.
Im very disappointed it has no interactions.
Maybe if the body die there or be moved there, it could be eaten?
It will be a separate room with a table in the middle and youāll get a circle of tasks around the worm to do.
(Translators are used for the following content) I have a good idea about the recently updated live broadcast privacy protection function: each game can set a player name list, and players can only use the names in these name lists.
Because game anchors often play together, the name list of network anchors usually does not need to be modified.
Can you guys update more than one accessory? For example, I want to wear glasses but I also want to wear a headgear
That is in the plans for a future update!
I got a message telling me I got a custom look where do I go to pick it up

already sent
Okay, I'll look into this. I am not familiar with that message format
ok i'm waiting for your message

Yooo! Full disclosure I only recently found the game and don't know what your current duck-picking-system is, but I made a video about using weighted randomness to improve imposter selection in amongus a while ago (since I found it to be a big factor in my friends getting annoyed at the game) and I heard you guys were very communicative devs, so I figured i'd pop by!
There's numerous benefits to weighting the selection system; players are less likely to go long stretches without playing Duck, of course, but there's also potential in using it to promote healthy gameplay (such as reducing weight for players who quit while alive, or adding weight to those who get voted/killed early in the game and/or complete their tasks) and for better onboarding in general (new players are less likely to play Duck on their first game, and if weighting is per-map then this would hold true for their first time on each map, allowing them to get a feel for the game before having to lie about what they're doing)
Am I allowed to post a link to the video? Are you already three steps ahead of me?
#š“ļø±promote-your-content is for creators who include GGD in their content creation. If you produce GGD content, feel free to share the link in that channel
I don't currently, it's just that one suggestion video from 2020 š
(the video basically states the idea above and goes into a bit of detail about implementation and why it works)
I'm of the opinion that adding a bias to role distribution would be unhealthy. Instead of trying to figure out who ducks are, people will end up voting out or vigi/sheriff killing others based solely on if they have been duck yet.
I am aware this does sometimes happen with the system we have now, but with it being weighted this way it would actually be correct instead of superstition.
fair point, and I cover this in the video, my suggestions include;
- not completely removing the weight of the player after the play duck (25-50% reduction) and never taking them too low
- adding extra, hard to track values to the weight (more weight for completing tasks, guessing correctly in votes you don't win, etc)
- having the tracking be global (doesn't reset between lobbies)
In my simulations I was still getting regular imposter runs of two or three games in a row, but the crewmate runs were brought drastically down
Once you weaken the random role assignment, you introduce metagaming to the actual game system, resulting in players voting out or shooting others based on external factors.
The distribution of roles players get over their life time perfectly represents an even distribution with only minor variances (considering number of roles we have)
The problem is solved by playing more over multiple sessions.
Weighting distribution of roles to specific players is bad news bears for a social deception game.
We already have problems of people voting based on "his costume is holding a knife" or "red always seems to be duck, vote red". As cool as a system like this would be, it would add more problems than it would solve.
Meta gaming ends at the draft and people's proclivity to take certain roles over others. These proclivities are very difficult to detect and can even be used to negatively or inversely convince players.

I've been working with influencing behavior mechanics since 2007
I know with one group of friends, I get voted off if pelican is taken early. At least I got at least 2 dodo wins from it.
Id rather do it for a video game rather than a mega-corp trying to upsell you on a loyalty package for a motel
Random idea I had, if a player carrying a bomb enters a vent or a manhole.
If this one explodes, what about making the vent unusable for a round?
An animation of the vent or the manhole cover flying could be a good addition tho
Hey, wondering if itād be possible to add language&map filters so it will be easier to find a public room.
This already exists!
Is it possible to add a tutorial for neutral roles?
This happens so rarely that it's not worth coding. Most of the time, if the player in the vent starts ticking, they are going to get out and find someone to give the bomb to. This is assuming a bomb is planted on one of these players in the first place, which in itself is rare.
Sorry my original message wasnāt clear enough, I was referring to search with filters
There is a WiFi looking icon on the search page, that has all the filters
You can set language, map, and I believe game mode filters. Not sure what more you're looking for?
Someone suggested to set up the limited time of each player's speaking time, just in case someone speaks so much and leave no time for other players.
Thanks so much! I was probably blind
No problem, some people don't notice it. An image helps
I think the game settings should be more diverse, and more setting options will better adapt to various players. For example, in the games I participated in, some stipulate that the maximum number of meetings is equal to the number of ducks, some stipulate a maximum of two times, and some have no limit. I think it is very necessary to be able to adjust the maximum number of meetings.
Another suggestion is to add an "identity guessing" function to everyone's banner in the meeting interface to help players remember the identity of the reasoning in the speech. It can be a specific identity or a camp, and then it can also be used in the game interface Use brackets, or other notation, to appear near the name. In a room of 16, it's really hard to memorize everyone's words, a similar note is needed
Settings used to be like that.
For various reasons, Gaggle has restricted some of the options for a better overall player experience and to make it easier on the host.
For your second suggestion, I recommend pen and paper or a note taking app on your mobile device, should you feel you really require it. The game was partially designed with your ability to remember to things as part of its balance.
Some kind of notepad you can use to mark players off as G D or N is an interesting idea, but I do agree with Duck Side here.
Thanks for your reply, for the first suggestion, have you considered opening up more configuration options in private rooms? Or there is an advanced option, the default is auto, but you can adjust it yourself. Create a world similar to don't starve games
I saw someone made a small tool on bilibili, and I feel that it would be better if the official integration is on the page. But if memorizing and analyzing is the original intention of game design, then I agree with Duck Side
You'll have to wait for a developer to respond for that one, I'm just a regular community member like yourself
Since a lot of the side features that have been added or changed recently, maybe there should be a short in-game tutorial to explain them? Lots of people don't seem to know what the tokens do or how to use them, and there was the example of the public map filters above. Doesn't even need to be long, just a ? button with a brief explanation for them.
But Rognik, people don't read. Everything is already explained with an i button, people just have to click on it (yes, even the arcade machines)
But if you never go into the lounge and you join the game now, I'm pretty sure there's nothing pointing you to the lounge to use your tokens.
As boring as the old crafting system was, it was a ton less cryptic for the average player to understand as it was just like another shop page instead of an entire side quest just to spend your tokens. Like what else do I need to do to get to the claw machines, find the jade monkey before the next full moon?
I wonder how well using the mummy (except at fast speed) for an all players vs ai for goosehunt would go.
Would it be fun for 3 or 4 player lobbies, or would it be not that fun because it just knows here you are at all times and you can't really 'hide' from it like you can a human
I think the biggest trip up is the limited AI of the mummy, one player could just kite it around something until the game was over
Not if it ran at the same speed the duck in goosehunt usually runs.
Of course that is an issue though because it means the last player alive will be unable to outrun the AI and because it knows where you are you cannot just hide either...
I dunno, it was a thought which is why I put it here instead of in gamemode ideas, I don't think itt would work as is, without significantly reworking the mummy AI.
Maybe the mummy knows what room you're in but not your exact location until you're within its vision radius
For private lobbies only, perhaps a setting to allow the game to randomise what mode is played when the start button is pressed.
The randomised game mode should use random preloaded settings from a hosts saved settings so nobody complains that 15 players are goose and one is regular duck
Would be good for those Chaos lobbies
What map are you filtering? Only a few maps allow Trick or Treat
You can scroll that list, it isn't super obvious though

One Idea is grouping up should have penalties, what I mean is that if you are walking with someone for a bit that is fine, but there should be something to prevent like 7 players from grouping up. This game alreadt does group stuff better than among us with players spawning in different locations and a more discrete kill animation by a mile, but it becomes a lot harder for ducks to win when 7+ players group up. Keep in mind when I say this, I mean the game as of the mechanics, and not personal rules like no grouping allowed.
Pigeon and ninja are two roles that help prevent grouping.
Pigeon does that, ninja only double kills.
group of three people ninja is the best duck in the game
4 or more, out of luck
Pigeon does do that
which is nice
But it should not be reliant on a certain role, only in draft being in the game
Sabotages also work against grouping
The Esper is also good for preventing grouping if used correctly
Its the most fun i have had with a role in a minute, problem is it isn't gotten very often. Lol
I used it once to mess with a gravy
Sabotages Kind of do that, with proper coordianation though they donāt really.
The fire sab is a notable exception.
Any chance to add a function where you can tagged people with the role you think they had during meeting
It really hard to remember all the roles in a 16 player game
This is something on our list of things we would like to add
I agree that something like a little notepad to keep track of role suspicions would be an interesting QoL change. Reminds me of a game I used to play all the time called Untrusted.
It's pretty much dead now last I checked
I could see it maybe being like the Assassin button. Tap a note button, tap the player, then you get role icons you can assign just for you to see
Might want to make the vfx very distinct from the assassin's ability to not confuse the assassin themself. Perhaps the background becomes lined paper with the sound effect of pencil on paper compared to the deep red with a gun cocking sound effect.
Yeah, that'd be really useful
Please make tokes buyable⦠I⦠need⦠the⦠chandelier⦠hat
Chandalier? Youāll need to be hit on the head quite a few times for that oneā¦
Huh. I thought I saw that. But while checking I need now the axe hat
Might have been the bird cage if youāre looking at the gold machine
I do not like the notepad idea. Some people claim their role to the whole lobby, but everyone forgets by endgame where the duck can try to bluff their way through by claiming a random role.
This just makes it so much harder when everyone starts role claiming
esper can be a painful death. can we at least get a special death screen, like the drowning/fire in the basement, for it?
I mean, perhaps you could just change it around as much as you want at any point in time during meetings.
If it's only for the eyes of the individual themselves, that's on them if they choose to believe and select that role for someone.
But it should be made clear that it's only to be used as a point of reference, rather than hard confirming someone for their role.
I understand what you mean, though. The risk of people tunnel visioning/getting a false sense of safety from the roles they selected for some people later on.
My point was that throughout the course of the game, some people forget that player 3 claimed to be the detective, so when you claim it in round 6, you have a high chance they've forgotten or cannot remember if that was this game, or the last one player 3 was detective, making them unsure whether your claim is valid or not.
Adding a notepad feature, allows them to know 100% for sure it was this game player 3 claimed detective and that you are likely lying.
I do see where you are going, but there is nothing stopping someone from having a physical notepad beside them for writing down claims/suspicions.
It would be nice to be able to buy everything with silver coins and or gold coins
Wings or caps
Also I suggest to make duck and goose to do certain amount of task through out the game( which means it will not be refreshed after a meeting) to be able to call a meeting
I think this encourages goose to do more task
I have played about 50hr and the task completed bar never went over 50% xd
Can we have choice to enter lobby faster? For example, if I select language, game mode, and map, I can automatically be send to a lobby or create a lobby if thereās none matched. It can avoid chances of lobby is full while try to enter, and also lots of maps and game modes are doesnāt have any lobbies, if people doesnāt need to skim through the whole list and finally find one room which is full, it will make entering games more efficient.
there should be a fart radial menu so that you can use a different fart throughout the game
The devs said previously that they want to limit the amount of communication that can be done via farts. This might change, of course, but be prepared for a negative answer.
A randomiser that will select a reason fart from those you own, would avoid the communication issue while allowing players to show off their fart collection
When I was a young boy, my dream was to fart rainbows
This was how it used to be. Even then some people would afk after dying and never finish their tasks.
If the task bar isnt filling then people arnt doing them. The claw machine tokens should give them some incentive to do at least their first 8.
I think what they meant was that the emergency button would be locked until a certain number of tasks were done each round.
Kinda like Trick or Treat, pretty much
Except you'd still need to hit the button manually
Yep. I don't think I would hate the idea
that would go in the #lfg-language
then post the code in the code room below
Not sure if this has been suggested or not, but there needs to be some type of filter for when player names are created. Played in a few public lobbies yesterday and some of the names were just foul. Not sure how to explain it properly.
i have a idea for the mortician
when the mortician mortician's a body it tells how long its been there
I think it would be nice for a kick/demote leader button just for the afk or a afk button for spawning rooms
Lobbies shouldnāt be a democracy, it encourages trolling and can hurt hosts that are doing the right thing. There is nothing keeping players from staying in a lobby they donāt like because of a bad host.
That would be far too strong. Knowing the identity of dead players already has the potential to be very strong.
After getting silencer duck for a bit, I noticed that I usually am unsure if I used my ability or not. Other duck abilities usually have an indicator for if it worked, while silencer doesn't, so I'd like to suggest a duct tape sound or something when the silence is used. :3
You can tell when the icon fades out after usage, but there could be a sound added to it yeah
yay
It fades out if ur not on a person too, so I usually just miss if I used it a lot
Yeah, that's true. Understandable.
0.0
I was talking about more of automatic leader but i see your point maybe like a set secondary leader or backup leader button
Add Romanian Languageš·š“
Languages rooms and language translations are based off of demand by the player base. The translations are done by volunteers from the community. If you'd like to see Romanian added tell your friends about GGD and get them playing!
I mean, maybe just on discord, to find group.
To my knowledge, you are the first romanian player i've talked to
xD lol
My recommendation is for a public API
.
I love achievement hunting, and I love programming. With Over 200 achievements, having to manually update every input every new statistic in my achievement tracker takes forever.
Having a public api would help players make useful external goose goose duck applications that do not impact the game, like notifying you when your friend messaged you using the chat feature and you don't have the game up, tracking achievements as mentioned before, or even accurate player-made leaderboards for games played, etc.
Although I understand this request is pretty niche
If you are eaten by a pelican and it is killed in special places, such as a stove, then you both die
And add a multi-kill achievement
I know it's not something you can "just make", but I wish there was a Goose Goose Duck VR game (on Quest 2)
Uf, man, this has to be done from scratch, I can try to do it in 3D, I don't have vr
The team could absolutely do it. The VR market is very small compared to pc and mobile. Developing a VR version would reduce the amount of content we receive to GGD
Of course, I totally understand. I just wanted to share my thought š
The main issue I see, is that the game as designed, doesn't balance out well when switched to a 3d perspective. It's like putting everyone in permanent flashlight mode.
Such a feature already exists, tell the lobby host to click on the players tab in the settings menu. There, they can find a transfer host button
I have never seen that but i was thinking like a second host button that is in case a host losing wifi then instead of it going to someone randomly it goes to them
I do have a idea.. a host can set a age limit cause alot of adult don't like playing with little kids they to loud and annoying.. when u make it and we update the game and start it we all have to put in r bday and then when we creat a lobby we can set the age limit we want allowed in the lobby..
Anyone can click a button or set their age to 18
Yea true but it's just worth the shot.
It would also be collecting personal information which I believe gaggle is trying to avoid forcing on the players
O ok
My suggestion would be to join private lobbies posted in the lfg rooms. Many of those are 18+ and the hosts have a lot more control over who stays in the lobby
Ok u r rite on that .. it was just an idea I had..
Arrows pointing to people left to infect as pigeon (if its too many arrows you can add it so like it only shows arrows when theres like 5 people or under left to infect or smth)
In early pigeon days, we experimented with the idea of some sort of indicator to uninfected/infected players, made pigeon wins too easy
The Pigeon has already been nerfed at least once or twice. They don't want to make roles that are completely mindless, either.
Can we like a different point of views example be first person
Not quite sure what you mean
they mean like instead of third person, play in first person
i dont think thats possible though because its a 2d game
Ahh yeah that's probably a no
if the game errors when starting and you're selected for a special role (pigeon, duck, pelican, falcon, vulture, etc) then have the same people that were selected in the erroring game that had a special role into the new game but perhaps with different player numbers
sometimes when people start, after like 6 people being chosen for their roles, the game restarts by stopping the role selection and instead wants you to ready up again. its really annoying and sad especially when you're chosen as duck. basically i want to negate this by having the people that were chosen as a "special role" in the error game, with the same roles in the new game (but can have different player numbers
An achievement for getting the mythical 8 event tokens (I am doubting it's existence)
Someone told me to post here instead. I think it would be cool if the party duck recolored your text to random color codes. Would give a rainbow effect and make it so party duck is usable in non vc lobbies
Yep, I like it. Would give people without a mic a funny effect of their own and make it clear they've been partied.
Would be helpful for those few people who choose to join VC lobbies without a mic too. Since partying someone without a mic is just pointless there atm
Could the stalker ability be moved to be on the right side of the UI? As a primarily mobile player it can be hard to tap it consistently when itās so close to the stick as opposed to pretty much all the other abilities being on the right side.
You could try using floating joystick, so you can move with whatever hand feels most comfortable for you.
streamer mode don't showing nothing about the streamer role
Your best bet there short-term is to add elements to your overlay to cover those parts of the screen. If concerned about stream sniping, you can restrict who joins your lobbies to trusted members of your community.
If the game showed nothing on screen (even for you) how would you play your role?
Press the ability button and hope for the best!
Almost sounds like a new game mode: Amnesia Mode! 16 geese enter a lobby, but there's a duck and no one knows who it is, even the duck!
Well that's basically just the card game in the lounge at that point
Y'know, it'd actually be hilarious if the Silencer (and only the Silencer) had the ability to hear the silenced person's voice muffled (via EQ, >500Hz sound cut off) but everyone else heard nothing from them, just to simulate the duct-taped sound lmaoo
If so, the silencer should also see the silenced icon on the hushed goose so that they don't immediately out themselves by accidentally responding.
I think that's interesting, but I know that, at least myself, I just stop talking as soon as I notice I've been silenced.
Had a thought today.
It might be nice in the end screen of a game if we could see any figures for achievement progress we made that game. Being able to see the numbies going up makes my nerd brain happy.
It's not a bad idea. I also want to show arcade tokens earned.
This might be a little tricky though, as depending on your achievement status, I could see it possible to have made progress towards as many as 20-30 achievements in a single game (if you count multiple levels of kill, sabotage, task achievements etc individually).
I think if that were to be added, only progress toward the rarest achievement should show
I would appreciate if the main menu music volume could be separated from the volume of other music in the game.
I love the music, but often while waiting to join a game I'll be stuck waiting at the main menu and for some reason the main menu is a lot louder than the other music in game.
The mimic should get one shot to blend in more
That would invalidate vigilante
add the entertainment room to the role play?
Individuals can set hostility or neutrality. The entertainment room is a bit monotonous
Are you suggesting to add the lounge to the regular map lineup?
There are further plans for the lounge, many things in front of it though.
I answered this question in #816356997564727367
Nevermind then, I did read it wrong, my baad

atlantis theme map and cosmetics would be fun.
Don't know if someone already posted and I know it's far fetched but having a claw machine with more cosmetics from the cosmetic idea section would be cool. have it be used to pay with gold or a lot of silver per chance and have the items change out periodically so different cosmetic ideas are available for a limited time. I know it's hard for the team to create every idea that's within guidelines but if it was a gold only machine it would make profit too.
Gambling laws make it difficult to do this.
We need to abide by everyone's gambling laws because we are an international game.
I personally like the way the current claw machines are set up (even if it took some adjusting to)
Because you only need to pay for them once, once you buy them your guaranteed to get everything eventually. It's less like a lootbox, and more like a randomized battlepass which never goes away (which is also really nice, as it makes it so there's no rush to get all the things in the non-seasonal machines)
I see, that makes sense. could also have it as silver coins just at a high amount so people don't have to buy the gold to play it. but I knew it was far fetched
I had raised a suggestion a while back about using cash to buy tokens. Dom had explained to me that gambling laws really complicate that. Basically, if you can potentially buy it with real money, then it needs to be totally separate from the machines. Because you can use real money to buy silver in some of the packs, it gets messy to allow that silver to be used in the claw machine in some places.
We do sell the tokens for the seasonal machines
but thats because probability becomes fixed as you unlock them all
so its not gambling, and we dont facilitate trading
well that's what i meant, it works like the seasonal one, has limited cosmetics that you can buy gold or tokens to play with, you're guarantied to win just you have a limited time to win said cosmetics before they rotate into something new. but again i know it would be hard cause would mean the artists would be constantly having to make more and more on top of other projects.
Hi, I got so much fun in this game, thanks for all developers! While here I got some little ideas about game experience and hope can imporve it a little. 1st, after each game finish, could developers add last game imformation in the waiting room? Including everyone's role and if can add who killed who is better!~ Sometimes friends and I don't got all after game, and the prize list showed off too fast. We also know that we can ask in waiting room, but after game there are sooo many fun and experience friends wants to show, you know, too noisy in this room. 2nd, roles in game have many small but important features, like epigone(or imitator?) can walk through the fog. Can this features showed in role guide card? If afraid too many imformation scared new players, maybe it's better to show up small tips while in the gametime? So when in each game, everyone can know those features. 3rd, my little idea, can developers add season reward in game like Apex? That both can plus normal player's joy and paid players also have ways to pay. Finally, Thanks for your great job!
it would be nice to have a way to switch between keyboard and touchscreen modes
and to be able to switch keybinds
You can already change most keybinds on PC. If you have a laptop with a touchscreen, does it not already work with both the keyboard/mouse and touchscreen?
no I have a touchscreen chromebook and it only gives joystick/touchscreen options
For pc I thought it was only windows and MacOS that was supported. TIL
Never used a chromebook, but if you download from the play store, it would be the mobile app version which would be why there are only touch controls.
Will you guys ever make a button that give a random map because something personal I don't which I want or really care because I like them all
Probably unlikely due to the way lobbies are tied to a map. Changing maps requires all players to follow the host to the new lobby each time. Could potentially be a QoL feature for the long term
If that does become a feature, I imagine it would have it's own unique lobby
I think the closest we'll get, due to the limitation d20dad mentioned, would be the proposed museum map.
For those not familiar, it's been suggested several times by a few people, to have a map which comprises various rooms taken from every other map in the game.
Imagine if all the tasks were the longest tasks from each map
we already know what the goose chapel one will be lol
Will bans ever be implemented into mode?
Classic Rejects?
I think they mean draft mode but you can select which roles won't be appear based on majority voting, much like R6S ranked mode
if you esper a fellow duck when there is mimic on the map, will you kill them? I heard that esper can't kill a fellow duck, even with mimic?
I don't know why Esper would be an exception, they should be able to kill a duck with Mimic on.
I seem to have glitches on the upper right corner of basement, kind of by foggy cave and that light switch. When I try to eat someone as peli there, I get the gulp sound and my timer starts ticking but they don't get eaten. IIRC, I've also had problems kiling in that same spot. Have any of you noticed that problem? Maybe it was just a one-off thing
Sounds like a bug. Open a ticket in #troubleshooting-and-bug-reports, or post it in #community-solutions if you can't open a ticket.
I had that problem too, but was unable to get evidence of it for a ticket.
Achievement Idea: Get the most kills in a game (be awarded the knife on the end screen) as a role that doesn't have a kill button.
It can happen.
I would like to have more such tasks or in general riddles (is that the word for that? idk)
I would advise against advertizing for something without permission, let alone posting links
Puzzle and riddle are kind of the same, but if you want to go in depth then a puzzle is more a game while a riddle is more a question.
Meaning puzzle is technically more fitting here.
And I would also like to see more tasks like those.
I like the spot the difference task. I wish there were more.
It's certainly a rare task. Makes it hard to write a tutorial for it
I like that one, the one on JT is too easy lol
The painting task is the only one where something isn't missing when comparing two images.
You sure about that? The task is different each time you open it
The differemce can be very very subtle. For example it took me an embarrassingly long time to spot it in the image above.
What I mean is the jungle temple task has a very obvious blank spot, while the painting has something different, but it's there.
I'm pretty sure there's a third one somewhere, but I can't think of it right now.
There should be a way to kick the host (in case they went afk or something) if all or most players in the lobby vote on it
That would be an easily abusable mechanic that griefers could use to eject lobby hosts
If the host is afk/not a great person to play with, then you should find or make a different lobby.
What if votes held more power the more tasks you did, and skipping could move your empowered vote to the next round. 0 tasks - 0 votes, 1 task - 1 vote, 3 tasks - 2 votes, 5 tasks - 3 votes (caps at 3). Could have ducks / geese that work around this. Mafia Duck can tag any bird to null 1 vote from them. Golden Goose always has 3 votes regardless of tasks done, killing them gives you +1 vote that can go over the cap.
** More of an idea, very easily unbalanced.
i like the concept of it, but as you pointed out yourself i think its gonna be very on balanced, some of the ppl i usually play with including me are serious taskers so with only 5 ppl we could easily get 15
Well I was also considering just the idea of a goose or duck who's role specifically gives them extra votes the more tasks they do, or the ability to negate a vote. It was just an overall idea of empowered votes. Just now imagine if one goose could tag another one and that bird's vote would count twice. If a duck with empowered vote skill tags someone it could negate the vote. thats all really. Just had a fun thought and went with it.
It does sound cool
It probably isn't suited for classic, but it could work in its own game mode
I'd like to request the possibility to have either pelican OR Falcon on Mothergoose map.
My reasoning for this is because if there is an assassin, and a duelling dodo, and a Pelican instead of Falcon, it is extremely obvious to the assassin what their role is.
At least with a Falcon, it's a 50/50 whether they're Falcon or duelling dodo.
Basement carries the same risk really, especially if the vigilante took their shot already and claimed it.
Just something that's bugged me ever since the Pelican first replaced the Falcon
Hello!
I am Japanese goose.
Thank you for always having fun content.
As is often the case with Japanese people, I have trouble reading English.
I was told by a friend when I recommended Goose Goose Duck.
"It would be better if there was a Japanese guide at the time of registration."
I would like to propose a mechanism that allows you to switch languages before installing and registering as a user.
Please consider.
(If a similar proposal has been made in the past, I apologize for duplicating it.)
I love the visual tasks that change the map, the only visual task who does this is in cargo bay closing the door, I would love to see something like that in another map
There are visual tasks on most of the maps, but some of the effects are more mundane. People pay attention to the doors because it's associated with a map kill.
I mean, the other ones is only visual, that isnt just it
oh, another one is the fire in the jungle, if u do the task u can see around it while the light sabotage
Like I said, there are actually quite a few visual tasks. I'm not sure if they would create a visual effect like the doors again, but I could see them choosing not to. It can be a bit frustrating to get locked in a dangerous area by a goose, whether intentionally or not.
I never noticed that before, that's cool!
The jungle fire is another of those tasks that only a single non-duck player can have as well
well, i only knew about the intercom and camera, but neutral could have these too
There's the Basement "pay respects" task as well, which any player, living and even dead, can unlock.
My suggestion is less often updates.
Another one: create CC (subtitles) so that people who don't hear or understand a language well can read what are people using microphone saying. You can use a translator which can convert voice into text in selected language
You want fewer updates and new features?
that's all i want, nothing else
I'm not sure there's the technology for instantaneous subtitles just yet, especially if multiple people were to talk at once.
When someone says something, his voice is sent. His voice in his device could be converted to text in his language, other players would select wanted language and they would see received text in wanted language. During talking about a murder, text would appear in chat - key Y. During walking, text would appear below or above player who said something. That should be free to select, either enabled or disabled.
That sounds both very expensive, and like it would be a heavy burden on a player's network connection
Text has much less size in bites than sound so uploading sound with text can't affect connection
And would require higher minimum specs for mobile devices particularly. Many people who are using devices that barely meet minimums would no longer be able to play
It would be nice for the reply bot to tag the person who they are talking about or replied to the post just for quickly finding and quality of life stuff
We can't tag people. We're just bots.
@spice tiger

Can all gamemodes have custom text on the lobby page like the lounge? I feel like a feature like that could help players trying to make lobbies specifically for beginners, playing custom modes, or just want to farm some event tokens
Idea/recommendation for classic: nerf pelicans vision to dark
cant you just set his vision to dark in classic?
yes
thats what im saying
not as a feature
but as something to make your lobby better
Even better: FLASHLIGHT VISION š¦
Personal feelings aside, as the host, you do have the tools to adjust the role's capabilities to your whim, even to the point of disabling them entirely. The strength of a role tends to be dependant on who is playing. Groups that prioritize grouping up to avoid kills will see more pigeon wins and demo deaths. Groups with efficient and quick killers often see vulture wins. It's all group dependant which is why it is the host's duty to adjust.
The only problem I have is that a lot of gameplay settings like that are disabled in Draft mode. I get that itās ācompetitiveā but I donāt think that should compromise what the host wants.
I see where you are coming from, but I personally prefer the more rigid settings draft has. It's always an unpleasant surprise for me when I am the lone duck in a 16 player game, or my vision is set to flashlight or even to dark because the host doesn't like the role I got.
I do understand that this isn't a bad thing and the best move for me to make is find a new lobby with settings I like better, but still.
I guess what my point is, is that I like draft being more of a "you know what you are getting" compared to classic lobbies where I don't know what I am getting myself into.
One exception I can make is disabling which roles appear much like in classic mode. Perhaps setting a role to ? makes it only possible to get if you select random, makes it less likely but not impossible.
I get that classic lobbies with free settings arenāt really that good, especially public, so having a consistent ruleset for draft in public is nice, but I feel like opening the settings for private lobbies can give responsible hosts some more control over how they want to play
That I can agree with
My harsher opinions are probably because I often play public lobbies
They really do suck sometimes
And something else, sort players for voting by name alphabetically. They are now in random order and we don't have much time to find a player to vote him.
In tutorial, we should see guides how to do every task
There's a feature of exploring any map and seeing all tasks
but we don't see how to complete tasks
e. g. for some cleaning tasks we hold left click, for other he have to keep tapping left click button
Most tasks are more or less common sense, though nothing is stopping you from asking for help either in game or on discord.
Would it possible to implement a more convenient map selection menu? I feel like if another map is going to be added, it'll get a bit annoying to navigate the current map selection method when creating a new game.
It would be possible. The carousel was good when we had just few maps now we 8 and we do plan of updating the UI in quite a few ways
Each theme gets its own tab like a submenu? Like roles in Classic, maps are also rated on a scale of complexity to help newer players and hosts?
As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.
Bot, those were ideas, not demands.
maybe you shouldn't have such demanding ideas O.O
so demanding
but the person that asked when deleted their message
Yay! This makes me happy.
In draft, 3 random players can ban 1 class 2 of them will ban a goose, 1 will ban a duck
There hould be an option for win screens on neutral roles.
so if a non killing neutral wins, it doesnt end the game but they still win no matter if they die or not after reaching their objective.
maybe for keep the game fast to the neutral non killing roles are given a form of killing after reaching their objective. maybe their killing need certain conditions or maybe it has limited uses.
Then people would just be asking for or giving free wins to those neutrals, it would also result in 1v1v1 scenarios where the neutral decides whether the geese or the ducks win.
Well, I think for not giving free wins maybe they add an equal chaos to the game, like a punishment for both teama for not being carefull, here i habe the idea for examples of role win abilities.
Dodo: can put fake votes or hide votes or swap them
Pigeon: A negative effect happens near the player (Slowness, Bad vision or other negative)
Vulture: Can attack or "injure" someone if they interact or report if the body is marked by the player
And in cases of 1v1v1 the neutral that already win shouldn't affect if the duck are majority on non neutral
The punishment for not being careful is the Neutral wins
Yeah, but the idea is to expand from being just a one trick role, because the strategy are almost the dame when playong a role.
But honestly i could be complicatimg more than necesary
Will there be a replay feature in the future? Sometimes I want to review a game.
Unlikely. Best bet for that would be recording your video if on PC/Mac or capturing highlights if streaming
I believe a previous match statistics is in the works, but a full on replay is unlikely.
Thanks
I believe full replay would be pretty server intensive and could negatively affect gameplay
Will the plushies still be makeship tho??

I think that the role of lover and/or assassin and bodyguard must be an approach and not a role, this is because it doesn't seem nice to me that lovers and/or assassin and bodyguard are normal, without a specific, particular power, so there could be lovers one sheriff and the other engineer, same thing for hitman and bodyguard, let's face it the hitman is like the serial killer but he will only have one target in the whole game. let's go back to the lovers, in my opinion to further improve the role if there is a goose and an assassin, they will have the task of being the last players in the map to be able to triumph over their love while for the assassin and the bodyguard it could be make that if the hitman manages to kill the victim he will have 2 random assassin powers while the bodyguard knows who killed the person he is supposed to protect but after 20 seconds he dies and can't ring the bell, in my opinion these things could improve the game.
I'm going to assume you mean Hitman and Bodyguard, and it's just a translation issue there.
Hitmen and assassins are kind of the same thing, after all. Wouldn't surprise me if it was an error on a machine translator's part
Ok
Any plans for St. Patrick related cosmetics?
If there are plans, the mods will respond with !when
We just launched Valentines Day
we're always thinking of upcoming events but if you have specific ideas you might want to see #š©ļø±cosmetic-ideas but we are aware of common holidays

Missed opportunity, but it could be cool for a bundle that lets you buy one of the cosmetics from a matching set for you and getting a code to send the matching one to a friend, like the sweater holding a half heart as an example.

How about adding marker tools to the map during the meeting? I think it'll be easier to explain and understand.
Having everyone pay attention to the map instead of the discussion would likely just end up being to distracting and result in info being needlessly ignored. There is also the issue of bad eggs drawing... unpleasant things with it.
When playing a card game in the lounge, if someone accidentally presses the x button, the game ends right away. Can you improve this a bit? Everyone is playing the game excitingly, but it is so empty when one person accidentally ends it right away. When the player presses the x button, "Are you sure you want to leave the game?" I wish there was a function to ask only once
I never got a chance to play the card game, but it does sound like an "are you sure" prompt would be nice.
I know the lounge's card game is a low priority update, but it's a simple update.
How about a pin tool instead of a marker tool?
Try the card game in the lounge! It's as fun as classic, there are often users who don't play classic and only play card games
It would probably be better, but I think things are good as is.
There seem to be a lot more lounge lobbies nowadays, anyway. I'll look into it.

The card game is pretty fun when everyone playing understands how to play
Kind of like dine and dash. I remember playing a public dine dash and morphed in front of another duck. They killed me the moment kill cd was available anyway...
Mentioned this before but got no feedback:
Custom Draft Mode
The possibilty to add a pool of roles players choose from. If all roles are taken only Geese or Ducks remain. Or a minimum of roles needs to be chosen (or randomized) that is equal to the number of players + 2.
Another idea for draft:
Lovers in draft: Lover 1 choose Lovers. If none chooses Lover 2 then the first lover becomes a ordinary duck or goose.
Better idea for lovers: if the role gets chosen, the other lover will be chosen randomly among the ones that haven't chosen their role yet
Being a goose or a duck is also random
Been addressed many times, nobody will have a role forced onto them. Everyone gets to pick (dodo/duelling dodo is the only exception)
- RESPECT the Gaggle Crew! We read everything, may not acknowledge everything, but we read them. Please do not @ Gaggle Crew/Managers #rules
Would hitman/bodyguard be added similarly?
Yeah, that could work in the same way. A bodyguard without a hitman is just a goose and a hitman without a target is just a duck.
Maybe these things could be added to the custom draft mode
I dont like being forced into dueling dodo when I randomed into dodo itself. Especially during an event lol
That happened the other day, I won the duel.
I feel the same way. If I choose Dodo, I don't want to be a duelling dodo
Maybe a standby role if you're ok with lover or bg/hm? If no one else selects one or the other you get a random role.
Hitman can be like hitman/standby duck role. Same with lover duck?
If that makes sense at all
Problem is if the standby role is random, you donāt really get to choose, but if you get a fresh set of picks for a standby role, people will just pick lover or hitman/bg for a reroll
Also how would it show on the draft list? Would it be your ideal role or the standby, which then changes back when the matching role is picked?
You don't need to tag anyone in this channel. They will see your ideas
Because the game is asymmetrical, it's a bit harder to regulate than some other games. How would you suggest the scoring for such a thing is calculated?
Could do things like how many tasks done, how many times you voted for and eliminated an enemy player during a meeting, etc. I disagree with this form though, as it encourages playing selfishly. Maximize your own score instead of winning as a team.
Heck, if soneone is winning by many points, they may actively sabotage their team to prevent them from getting more points
Even with the maximum of 4 neutrals and 3 ducks, that is 9 players on 1 team and 3 on another.
The only way to really make a comp/tourney mode would be to simply judge by wins. Ducks that marinate and win late games but only get 1 kill didn't play worse than ducks that killed a lot and got voted off per se.
Hear me out devs, Iāve talked to a lot of my console friends that play this āgenreā of game and they would love to see this game come to all platforms. Thereās a market for it and with this one being FTP youād grab a lot of gamers attention, thereās very few games on consoles that have the proxy chat/roles combo. I know yāall replied to a user on steam and talked about the switch as a possibility in the future, optimizing for a whole other game system is hard and takes time we understand that but we are willing to wait š
As much as I would love to see a console release, the devs stated that it would dramaticly increase how long updates would take to roll out. Last I heard, they have no plans to make console versions.
But times change, perhaps one day we'll have ps4 and xbox versions. Maybe even a switch version.
Thatās unfortunate, maybe I should just get with the times and get a pcš
We have a way
I suppose not the only way, moreso wanted to argue against the point that kills determine skill in this game.
most user play Basement[I think 8~90% of user <korean server>] .
that's why other user don't have chance to play other map but Basement.```
Would have to change how game engine works
The room is loaded before you start. This would require us to change this and potentially slow down game starts
Think more like overwatch.
i think ya should add refresh button to friends list cuz its pretty annoying to join/leave servers just to refresh it
Lower cooldown for looking for group channels
No
Personally I'd like to set it to 10m or more. People can always edit their last post
The only reason Iām saying that is Iām on mobile and itās hard(er) to make lobby than if you had another device
Is it possible to add difficulty levels in the game? Like you'll add some challenges for some maps that all groups will be affected. So that maps that are being ignored will be enjoyable again.
That kind of sounds like special modifiers. I could see that being a cool idea if theyāre well thought out and balanced
Yeah. That's just a bit of a suggestion. I hope developers will include something in the maps to make the game more difficult than usual. But of course the players will decide if they'll activate it or not.
Honestly, it's the other players that usually decides the difficulty of any map. :p
I agree. But of course for some lobbies that have players who play professionally might want more challenges in the game.
For example: Ancient is one of the difficult maps in the game, because aside from it is big, all groups are affected by the sabotages including the ducks that activate swarm and mummy sabotages. And the sandstorm also adds difficulty in the game.
We dont need to add sabotages like those in the other map, but if we add something like that to add difficulty, maybe, that will make the other maps more fun and exciting to play.
All other maps' sabotages affect all teams. You can crash by boulder , you can hit by the chandelier , you can fell from the shuttle in space as nongeese role as geese
ęę²”ęäøčµ·ē©ē
This is correct. But what I was talking here is adding something that will add spice to the gameplay. We are playing some maps often but sometimes we feel tired of playing them so we are going to the map that we never lose fun.
They can add some settable challenges (it's up to the devs) to make the maps more difficult and fun to play. They can make like an event challenges based on the holidays or if geese and ducks have their own events.
Achievement idea: see that a goose role has killed as detective then get them voted out in the next meeting; still working on the name
Justice is blind?
I'd like an achievement for winning as regular goose in draft.
Call it Basic Betty, in honor of a good friend who loves the basic goose role and gets excited for anyone who gets it
It would be funnier if for it to work you need to deliberately pick plain goose. Better yet, win after picking basic goose as draft pick 1.
It would need to be a very low number of that's the case.
Considering being a basic goose is already enough suffering on it's own, it shouldn't be too hard of an achievement to do
I suggested a very detailed way for Lovers and Hitman to work in Draft. I don't think they're going to make any changes.
could we have a system where we are able to increase the chances of getting an item we want from the event machines? maybe by using a few gold (legendary) tokens along with the event tokens to have an item guaranteed/ have a 50% higher chance of getting that item, like in other gacha games. i got unlucky with my gambles and i cant really afford to pay. but i understand why there's a paywall and it seems fair <33

The gold tokens are for the gold claw machine, and with the token package, you're able to buy out the entire event machine. If you didn't get your desired win from it, there is an option to get more and guarantee you get what you wanted. However, if you can't afford to pay... shrug
hmm.. the gold tokens were just an example of rarer currency compared to event tokens, the point was to make changes to make the gacha system be friendlier while still having an effective paywall. but if this system is considered perfect then it is what it is, ty for replying so kindly~
I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it achieves what they want to do.
Its a step in the right direction of what we're trying to do
we have some ideas on how we want to tweak it but we're happy with it's current flow right now
free claw machine: (kinda like a fortune teller) but can only be used daily -- It doesn't give a cosmetic, but it gives a quest in the form of a cryptic quote such as "Dust Bunnies gone amok" (Do X amount of dust related tasks) -- "Thats not fresh air!" (Get sent X amount of times or send X amount of people out an airlock) -- "I ain't going in there!" (Avoid going into a hiding place / vent / leaves / closet / etc. for X amount of games staying alive)
could reward a random currency such as a token, 1 gold, 100 silver, or it could just replace the daily login reward system so you have to actually participate
only downside is, like with the holiday tokens, people might get upset and be like "I'm doing my daily, don't kill me!" which would be unfair to players who get a killing role
I could see that. You can get your free chest or pass it up for a special task for a bigger prize
Would it be possible to have an option that turns off the death animation/make it less triggering?
I've a friend who would really like to play, but the sight of blood when being killed makes them very uneasy. Just an option of turning it into a line of text or something would be perfect. It's a quality of life thing and should be relatively easy to implement. š
Fake blood (really just red spots) appears in more than just the death animation.

No need to post the same idea in multiple channels
oka
Is it only blood that bothers them? For instance, the Umbrella sting in the desert sets the goose on fire and turns them to ash; is that fine? Or would they prefer a more kid-friendly type of death?
I wouldn't mind an optional setting to disable kill stingers. I'm fine now, but when I was little I was extremely hemophobic. Even seeing the word "blood" caused me to become very nauseous.
Achievemnts Idea
"Prefect Hitman"
As a Professional win a game without any corpses being reported.
"High Pitch Meeting"
-As the Party Duck, amke everyone in the meeting high pitched alteast Once.
"Corpse Finder"
-Find alteast 3 corpses as a Mortician in one meeting
"Duck-licious victory"
As a Cannibal or Vulture eat alteast a Corpse without getting spotted
"This is USA!"
As the falcon, win by killing everyone
"The Goosepostor"
As a Duck win without killing
Those suggestions are interesting, but they're either edge cases, ones that would need to be manufactured, or already exist in another form. I especially dislike "Goosepostor" as that will encourage passivity, which can already be a problem in some games.
Well heres a Alternative
"The Perfect Work Scenario"
-as a Duck win without sabotaging.
"Natural Causes"
-as any Duck Role, get a kill by using natural Death scenarios
Natural death scenarios? You mean environment kills?
Yes
ā¢āā ļøAchivements Suggestionā ļøāā¢
"Gaggletask victory"
Win by tasks as Gooses
"Natural Quadrakill"
Get 4 kills by one Enviromental Kill.
"Quick Sabotage"
-Complete and obtain all sabotages in under 2 minutes
"Decieve is Imminient"
-claim victory atleats once on each Duck role
"Multi-tasking"
-Claim victory as every Goose role
"Soloist"
-win as Every Neutral Role
"Hot Potato!"
-Pass a Bomb on another Player at 1second
"Perfect Accusation"
-as a Duck,Sucessfully win by voting out Other people.
why does this game pay so much attention to farting, but there is not a single murder by farting?
Because default goose does not start with a fart
Hello, at least set up a minimum guarantee for token machines, I have twisted 80 times in yellow token machine with 30k silver coin and no skin while UFO and the red car, alien eyes are still available.
I'm just asking to upgrade the rarity of tokens cause it is more difficult now to get any tokens.
It used to be more common.
I didn't get gold token from a task in forever (& I'm doing my tasks all the time)
Gold tokens are kind of a myth
They were not in the past when u knew which task had biggest chance to drop token.
When u needed gold there was 3 step tasks in manor, burning evidence, printing money in goosechapel etc. Now when it's random I barely get any colour š¦ so I will be continuing to be upset about it lol
I know I barely got any gold statues when that was the system in Jungle Temple, so I do approve of at least consolidating all the tokens. As for the randomness of the rewards, it's hit and miss, but I still get far more white and green than I do the rest, as well I should.
yeah same here
I can confidently say I got a gold token earlier today, as the Esper duck
Proud of you! Share some luck with us!šš
If nothing else, I don't miss the days of "I know I can't get this material because I don't have the task." It would literally just ruin the rest of the game sometimes.
I remember how it was almost impossible to get those statues on jungle temple
Because it had only 1 task that dropped it. Same with getting blue corns
I still had them drop more often in the past than tokens now so...
The drop rate for materials and tokens has been reduced at least once since the days of unique materials, you aren't wrong.
A fun idea would be a little check box in the settings that says "remove skip button" which obviously during the game removes the skip button. Chaos then runs rampant š
Edit: the pelican and Falcon simply don't get a vote. Lol ever meeting is like a sacrifice then
Can we choose our number on draft
No
Randomizing the number is the only fair way.
If you could choose your number, then it's just a case of whomever picks 1 the fastest.
Much more frustrating than it being random.
Latency wars for the number one spot
I would personally buy guaranteed item from 2 gold claw tokens for usd without hesitation just to get the pupils. I get silver 2/3 pulls atm having 5 items left to get.
Is a way to pick a something else like delete options you don't want because something random give the role you don't wanted
Do you mean for Draft or the Claw machine or...?
Draft
The suggestion of banning roles has been brought up, but the current stance is that if you don't want to play with certain roles on, play Classic.
For the mortician role would having an arrow pointing to the bodies be a good idea instead of the people either just reporting or waiting for up to show up?
Nope, too much info
The reason there's no arrow is because it would give too much information about when and where the bodies dropped. Part of the skill is figuring out where people usually kill.
Ok thatās makes sense
Well, I have a good idea for GGD improvements. Could you make a new feature
- The player can seat on chair with SEAT button. If you want stand, press seat button again
That's it, i dont have much again idea
Achievements idea because Iām bored(Iām sorry with the names):
Hot potato - win the game as a demo duck without any duck(unless you are solo) kill expect the bomb
Chatterbox - talk to every NPC In goosechapel
Simple debate - as a dueling dodo, get ejected the first meeting after killing your rival
Simple Debate is basically just Flawless Trickery, which already exists.
Win 10 times as Dodo while being the first player voted out
what if there is a option to allow the host to say everyone can vote for a map?
when creating a lobby
Changing the map isn't available in public servers
but this would be a way to change it just have the lobby as a generic one
Random idea, but what if the daily prize could drop a temporary silver booster like the XP booster, but it gives a silver bonus at the end of your games during the timeframe.
Like a +50% silver for 4 hours?
I guess, but it could be whatever. Probably not as high because silver is a lot more valuable than XP
It would be cool if we can purchase silver coins also
I know that the starter pack has silver coins in it, but I think you can only buy that so often.
Make people eaten by a pelican get temp blinded (vision expands if freed), pretty hard to get away with a pelican kill if they ate people
I don't quite get what you mean. The people in the pelican have no way to talk to people outside of the pelican
or do you mean so they don't see who killed the pelican
yes, well at least while they are inside, so you'd have to quickly see who runs away if you are freed, right now they see from a mile away
Those inside the pelican should only see a small circle around their host. Yes, if you're concentrating, you can see who freed, but some killers like the demolitionist, the esper, and the identity thief may be able to kill and not be instantly ratted out.
Review the contents of recent game matches
The dwell time of the settlement page is a little
Not sure if you guys have it planned but what about adding the colour x player is using on the game?
Could help colourblind people
A few of the devs are actually colorblind and have always kept that in mind when doing colors.
Oh
Hope to add a game replay function, other games have similar functions such as CSGO demo. A game replay with voice call is very helpful for things that are not understood afterwards.
You also have to figure that most players are wearing different outfits, and you can see player names, so the color isn't always that important.
Right
Very unlikely
Imagine vr goose goose duck
I'd rather not
I'd much rather play a VR escape room
I want a GGD world built like GTA / Cyberpunk / Fallout / Skyrim etc. -- Exploring the gaggle universe, feeding the ancient potato gods, flying my own hexagonal mothergoose ship, siding with factions and working as a mercenary for various bird species.. Siding with the Pigeons to spread a disease into a nearby enemy city. Could be called something like "The Last Dodo" where you are literally the last of your species and must infiltrate warring bird factions to survive. Could contain a plotline for you to continue the dodo race. You learn lore about all the factions, visit all the GGD map locations, multiple ending options depending on dialogue / skill choices like "Become President Goose and peacefully end the world war" - "Become The Duck Lord and take over the world" - "Dodo No Mo - Create a utopia and revive the dodo race" - "Dodo Win - Destroy the universe"
Just a fun want, not practical, way costly, much work, very time consuming, but fun to imagine.
People always asked if there will be a vrā¦itās always the same answer
I mean now that I think about itā¦a game where you can move around(like among us vr) with roles can be a pretty interesting one
It may be, but the biggest issue there is the game is designed with a top down 360 degree vision in mind.
Playing in VR essentially limits everyone to flashlight mode, which everyone hates for various reasons (rip Birdwatcher v1)
Make the VR game be an enhanced top down with a sabotage or duck ability making you go into VR mode from POV perspective. You could still have it do VR style movements of the body with moving 2D. It would be like watching a V-tuber moving left or right on your screen, then suddenly going into their POV of the VR world.
I wish there was a way to open the bank vault in Goosechapel
To get that spicy ramen package?
No, silly. To steal the gold and buy all the existing spicy ramen packets!
May have been suggested before but:
The ability to save a cosmetic outfit to a specific feather color for quick changes if your usual color is already taken.
Cosmetic "loadouts" has been on my wishlist for a while! Probably in the plans for future QoL updates
It could be cool if there was like some sort of journel or catalog that lists all the wearable items in game and whenever you encounter a player with something not in your journel, its entry gets added.
Sounds more like something you would see in an RPG, unfortunately I think this would lead to users trying to complete the journal, bugging streamers or other long-time players in the process. Nice in theory, less in practice.
True. I like your guides and I thought it could be cool to have something similar in game.
But yeah it would probably be a bunch of completionists asking someone to put on their holiday costumes to get its entry
If anything, they could have a compendium of all outfits, but even then, players would be asking the devs to release a custom outfit made for a single player.
1 ofs probably shouldnāt be in this hypothetical journel anyways as running into that one specific player is probably way too hard of a task anyways. Itās like running into a celebrity and adding an incentive to it would only make it worse.
But there's also the old limiteds that like .001% of the player base has, and even then many of those people don't play anymore
Reminds me of the old idea for the achievement for killing Xizta in a game. The only achievement that Xizta cannot get
That's on the level of the "Yes, I am the Real Garry!" achievement for Garry's Mod.
Heard some 3rd party people are compiling a list and screenshots of all the cosmetics and bundling them for viewing.
It might take them a while.
I can get it now. I can just add it to my account.
But does it really count if you haven't killed Xizta?
GgD mobile Abuse Reporþ
Title already says itself, some people abusw there power as host and kicks off impostors even though they just won fair and square some even Put unfair cooldowns so goose wins no matter what and so on.
Best thing to do there is leave and find a better lobby. Unless they are breaking ToS, the host is the king and what they say goes.
So if the king's rules are bad and unfun, find a different room.
Ok
PPHolyās idea:
New Map: emergency department
How is it formed:
1* pharmacy
1* inquiry desk (for ringing the bell)
1* biochemistry lab
1* lavatory (the place to find the mice and the maintenance worker)
Several operating theaters
Several inpatient wards
And so on. Maybe this map can borrow ideas from some relevant films or series.
2* elevators
I think about building a two-floor hospital because it is fun to use the elevator or see it shut down by ducks. Maybe engineer can hide in the trash bin put beside the elevator as we normally would see. However, I donāt know if it is too difficult for gaggle~
Whatās kept:
Goosesā tasks:
1\sweeping the stairs
2\Whac-A-Mole
3\Potion making
and so on which can be related to hospitals
Whatās new:
Ducksā tasks:
1\ disturb the ECG signal:
How to do this task: find one patient in ICU and unplug the ECG machine while the patient falls asleep after taking the sleeping pills that ducks find in the pharmacy or no bother just unplug it (I first thought about unplugging the life-support device, and then the gooses will run to the bed and do the cardiac pacing in 60s, if they canāt finish it, the patient will die, but thatās too evil)
How to solve this task: bribe a maintenance worker to sneak into the ICU and plug it in.
2\ the biochemistry lab escape
This will be an advantage for the pigeon and at the same time a surprise for the goose, and as well as a way to kill one character who has a knife either on the goose or duck side.
Once the task is going on, the irradiated patient will get out of the lab and glow. Its irradiation range will be a fluorescent circle around its body. Anyone who get into its range will be infected just like a normal pigeon do, but if the pigeon enter the range, the pigeon will become a goose (not sure if it is fair to keep the pigeonās ability to hind in the closet).
How to do this task: break the lock of the lab while the inspector goes away or no bother just break it.
How to solve this task: sacrifice one character who has knife to kill the irradiated patient. The one who kill this irradiated will die at the same time just like when the sheriff kill one goose.
3\ donāt kill your doctor
The doctor will push the operation door and run out because smoke is filling the room. The patient is furious because it thinks that the doctor should be blamed.
How to do this task: blow some smoke into the operating theater while the nurse is fully focused on the operation or no bother just blow it.
How to solve this task: when the doctor ran, push down 3 roadblocks one by one to slow down the f enraged urious patient. The task should be done together by 2-3 gooses or ducks. It needs cooperation.
In short, this is what I thought about when I was eating noodles this afternoon. Lots of things can be reused in this map, more new things added. I hope this draft can give you guys some inspiration~~
@young vector Certainly an interesting idea. In future, though, such ideas should be in #šŗļø±map-ideas
can you put a new goose role
There are several in the works, check out the February devlog for more information.
1/ allow users to put and edit nicknames for their friend list (easier to identify people)
2/ update the blacklist function
- blocked users won't be able to join my room
- once the user is blocked in chat, he/she will also be blocked in voice, vice versa
Who is the highest level player in ggd
Collide's a big contender there but there might be higher
Could you make a number under the task bar or even make/put in the task bar a number that shows how many more tasks need to be done
The ability to add more than one options in each drop down when in the search filter menu (multiple languages, multiple modes, ect.)
Also a lv5+ checkmark (perhaps just a level requirement slider) for when making games
Level 5 might be too low a level filter. Level 25 is high enough to keep out someone who just wants to troll.
I've had issues in the past with people circumventing the kick by simply making new accounts, hence why I suggested such a low lv
5 filters out the brand new players, thatās for sure, but 25 is pretty easy for an average player. I hope we could get high level locks to guarantee seasoned players like something around 50-100
What is his level
Her
What is her level
Last I knew, approaching 700
Is level 1000 possible
I would imagine 999 would be the highest
It's gonna be a while before anyone reaches that
More quality of life stuff:
- Change the message that someone joined and is kicked into someone tried to join a lobby they were kicked from, or don't notify people at all (people may be confused as to why the host is so quick to kick people who join, when in reality they just kicked once and the other person is trying to re-join)
- Giving friends nicknames or notes would be nice (in case the person was using a different name than their username)
- Show the nickname of the person they used when adding you as well as the username when getting a friend request
Also, the current recent player list only show the first people you played with when you launched the game instead of what it's advertising (I know this is a bug and not a feature to be added, but still, I've had people I want to add but they leave before I can do it)
please, remove click to be ready
we are ready when we enter a game
host often kicks someone not ready out
If people are getting kicked for not being ready that is on them, but that's just my opinion. I like having a ready up button as it gives people a chance to go grab a drink and then ready up when they return so everyone is in game at the start.
But there can be 15 ready players and one who doesn't want to be ready because he want to make us pissed and consequently ready players are leaving because of too long waiting
if you want to drink, don't join the game yet
or there could be an option that more than 16 players could join the game and the game would start instantly when there are 16 ready players
And that takes control away from the host. Maybe the host is streaming and has to take a break for a bit. Would be unfair to them for the lobby they formed to just start
If players leave because someone has to go to the bathroom and be back in like a minute, that's their problem, and if the host doesn't like that humans have body functions like needing water or the toilet, they can go back to whatever planet they came from where those don't exist IMO. I mean if someone is AFK for more than a few minutes with no explanation and not talking, yeah something is up, boot em, but they can always come back as spectator and play next round.
At least add option in host's game settings to enable or disable click to be ready, you will see that most of hosts will disable it.
If someone isn't ready, the host can kick them. Problem solved.
dude, we don't go playing if we're hungry
Maybe you don't, but I have known several players who play for hours on end, they might not be hungry when they start but they might get hungry in the middle
as i posted before, keep click to be ready but at least add option in host's game settings to enable or disable this click, you will see that most of hosts will disable it.
more democracy please
Your idea has been noted and will be considered. Thanks.
you're welcome
I think if that option existed, literally everyone would disable it
that's fact
What if I'm taking just a few seconds to switch pets so everyone can get extra silver?
I'm unsure of what lobbies you play in but if people are taking that long the host should remove them instead of forcing those who are not ready to start the game.
Its healthy to get up and walk around occasionally and people like to play for hours
if you're from Japan, i can reply : vakarimasen
I am not.
And if you go to job and you say to boss that you're not ready yet
game isn't like job at all but
we have the same feeling like a boss when someone isn't ready to play
The idea has been noted.
let Vasha know that too
Thank you, D20. I was just giving my opinion
no more about that, ok? i just hope that host will have option to either enable or disable click to be ready, this is like host have option to costumize discussion, voting, killdown seconds
this option can't spoil the game. we could see in the list of games if ready-click is off like we see if microphone is off or on.
The idea has been noted.
I'd like to have a few customizable options for draft. Like role reveal, confirm ejection, that option where we can see who voted for who
Draft is the same as classic. I had number 1 but i didn't have duck roles available.
One of the most unlucky moments, I had it too
If we're moving away from ideas, you can move discussion to #š¬ļø±general
but i was talking indirectly about fixing draft
number 1 should have available all roles
not only 3 and one random
I would disagree but your opinion has been noted
if you make number 1 have all available options, number 2 should have all remaining available options, etc. if you were to go down that route. Then 16 has little options and thats not fun
but then you're almost playing classic at that point
draft is like classic,
you can have number 1 or 10, but randomly everything is available
I think the current draft is fair. You guys did an amazing job.
everyone would like draft more with my update
draft offers you a choice in role, some players don't like playing duck for example and thats ok.
Classic assigns you a role
"everyone". I would not, therefore not everyone. Can't please everyone
I don't know if this idea has already been given.
But I think it's pretty "simple". When swallowed by the Pelican, the Avenger goose can kill him in a short period of time. Revealing their role if there are witnesses.
Another idea (a little crazier) is that the Pelican when swallowing a Pigeon vomits any other goose - duck - or neutral that it has already swallowed.
Both ideas would help to "nerf" the role Pelican
|| NOTE: Sorry if there are any grammatical errors, I'm Brazilian and I don't write very well in English.||
I'm not certain which meaning you have regarding the Avenger, so I'll approach both ones. If swallowed by the Pelican, all abilities are disabled. Avenger cannot cut himself out of a Pelican's belly any more than a duck can. However, seeing a goose swallowed trigger the Avenger might be fun.
Why would swallowing the pigeon cause the pelican to vomit up someone else? And if the pigeon is the first one swallowed, but the pigeon be coughed back up, or is that the only way to defeat the pigeon?
The Pelican has already received a few nerfs, such as previously not triggering the Canadian and now having an expanded cooldown per body. It might still be strong, but is kind of in a position where it's balanced for the most part.
I do agree with rognik here. Pelican is in a very balanced place right now and a nerf would just be unhealthy. Having the chance to have all your progress reset just because you ate a pigeon would cause a ton of frustration.
I think the ability to sit in the chairs in the hangout would be nice, especially the 3 seats at the bar
Only thing is it might mess up some cosmetics. How do you sit in a chair while youāre already in a car?
Some kind of sitting animation may be too much work for the amount of cosmetics that need to be worked on for it to look right.
Although smaller hitboxes whereas you can move closer to each char as well as squeezing between the chairs and tables below the bar to the left could add a lot.
You hop out of your clothes onto the chair
and the legs stay too, so the cosmetics don't have to float
They could also code it so your model moves in front of the chair so it sort of looks like you're sitting, and you can't move while sitting. It would be on a toggle like the fog or opening and closing doors.
Add to the āRole Revealā setting options that instead of seeing none or all players roles, you can only see ghosts roles.
This is actually a really great idea, and I don't think it's been suggested.
I can see it being a better alternative to both current options actually by replacing the options entirely, but people have preferences of course
I mean, cheating off of role reveal has always been a concern. This is the best solution I've seen.
I can even see it being an Adventurer and Engineer buff in a way
There should be a achievement for everyone in one game to go to jail all at once
Make the twin costumes from the Atomic Heart. Buying like hot feathers))) Š”Š“ŠµŠ»Š°Š¹ŃŠµ коŃŃŃŠ¼Ń блезнŃŃŠµŠŗ ŠøŠ· ŠŃомного Š”ŠµŃŠ“ŃŠ°. Š”ŠŗŃŠæŃŃ ŠŗŠ°Šŗ гоŃŃŃŠøŠµ ŠæŠµŃŠ¾Š¶ŠŗŠø)))
A very unlikely event if there's a Politician, Pelican or Falcon in the game
But if there isn't, it's possible
I think all alive players that are jailed would be easier for the achievement.
What if the tutorials had neutral roles?
I remember wanting that too, but the reason I don't think it would work is because each neutral is vastly different from each other. A dodo tutorial would hold no weight for the vulture, for example. The only way around this is to make a seperate tutorial for each neutral, which isn't really worth the time and resourses.
Yea I guess your right plus the instructions for the neutral are kinda straightforward.
I'm really lagging behind on doing this, but I plan to have a series of tutorials for each of the role types, including neutrals.
Unofficial, of course
A song about the game I did think of of making it but I need a lot of people to do it
There's been a couple songs about the game already
Someone should write a song about how love prevails until someone gets killed, and then the dodo wins anyway.
@idle quail
That includes yourself
If the dodo loves themselves and gets voted out, does that mean love won in the end?
What?
Could dead players see colored votes in meetings while role reveal is on?
Could we get dodo, vulture, pigeon, falcon, and pelican as discord roles? Right now it is just geese and ducks.
I was thinking about it too
Not sure about the pigeon because it's orange and the mods are also orange, it might cause confusion
Doesn't have to be the exact same color, geese are green here instead of white after all.
Or maybe that's not a thing because the neutrals are always solo
I don't see why being solo would stop this.
Me neither. I think having more roles would be cool
Can the tier list in the templates channel be updated? Somebody made one that has all roles up to v2.16
goose-goose-duck-all-roles-15472270
Can the gold claw machine function similar to the seasonal? Itās quite frustrating when using the gold claw machine and all you get is silver coins, especially when not all cosmetics have been acquired out of it. I feel for the cost that is associated with unlocking it, it should function like the seasonal machine, you donāt get silver until AFTER youāve got all the items in it. It takes FOREVER to get the gold tokens to use in it. My last 5-6 times of using it all Iāve got is silver and still have 8-9 items left in the machine.
I'm just going to say that silver is a lot less useless now that there are some expensive silver items in the shop.
I think it would be nice if while in the lobby between games we could change our names without having to leave and rejoin. It could notify players of the name change via chat window. Maybe a 5 minute, 10 minute, or 1 hour cooldown. I'd say 5 mins incase we wanted for funzies to all be the same name, or have a bit without having to leave / rejoin.
when lovers win,I prefer they would look at each other lovely . instead looking at one direction dully. Also when goose and duck win, maybe we could add some speical animations .Image thereās a goose beach party to celebrate winning. And duck party in the secret house playing pop. That would be so cool.
Maybe they could look at each other and a duck could hide a bloody knife behind its back
I think they should add metal gear rising stuff and skins it would be really cool
If you know anyone that owns the IP have them reach out to us
STANDING HERE...PIN HEAD REALIZEEEE...
I tried this with Sora, big scary mouse man has more money š¤£š¤£
Is it Mouse that owns Sora, or that weird Square shape?
Mouse owns Sora, Square r just the developers
Honestly just want to play on ps5
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to make the game available for console, and even if it were to happen, it would be a long ways out.
Nearby players in the game can speak
but can't type to chat
maybe add a chat bubble
This is called proximity chat and is already in the game. Just join a microph-on lobby.
Could there be a feature that shows who died before the meeting was called? (excluding the ones who died before the previous meeting)
I mean "type to chat" not "voice to chat",is already have?
AH, this is what you meant.
This would be unpractical, as people would have to stop to type something
Imagine screaming for help with this
Or simply saying 'Hi'
my some friend isn't have microphone,so I think nearby players talk with a chat bubble, will can be added
like this
There are no plans for text chat outside of meetings at this time.
Ah, nevermind what I said then. I thought you meant a thing like ghost chat.
I just suggest , hope the game will become better and better
This is part of the game challenge: remembering who died when and deducing who might've killed them. About the only thing I would change is that if someone dies and disconnects before a meeting is called, they don't necessarily show up as a corpse, but they can still be reported. I've adapted at this point, but I can see it being useful.

Hello, is the possibility of adding Ukrainian localization considered? If necessary, we can help to translate with our UA community.
Not all Ukrainians are comfortable playing with English localization and because of this there are problems with understanding each other.
Localizations (and discord LFG channels) are typically added based on how many people in the region are playing, as well as voiced requests here in the Discord server
Thanks for replying.
- How many people are needed?
- Is it possible to translate the game yourself?
You can submit things to #translations-report, but in this case if you are willing to help translate more than just a few lines, somebody from Gaggle may contact you
A dev might be able to add on at some point, but when translations are needed, the team will ask for assistance from community volunteers
@gaunt thistle @rich dagger Thank you, we would be happy to help with the translation if possible. OK, I will write to that channel.
I would wait for a Gaggle manager to contact you, they may have specific formatting requests
I don't think there's a specific amount of people needed for a localization, but if it seems like there's a certain amount of demand, they'll add a section
Of course, I would like to know if there is such a possibility in the future, or maybe devs need some kind of help.
If devs are open to cooperation - we will be happy to help with translation!
- RESPECT the Gaggle Crew! We read everything, may not acknowledge everything, but we read them. Please do not @ Gaggle Crew/Managers #rules
please add a "this is not a task" sign at the bells just to be funny
No.
It would ruin my bio. Why do you want to upset me?
this is perfect
"Just to be funny"
the best comedy always serves a higher purpose
Wait there is bios?
That bio would be on the Gaggle staff page
"i thought this was a task" atleast one person in one meeting in every lobby 2023
I had gotten the bell location added to all the maps. How else more obvious can we make it?
You shouldn't its funnier this way
sounds like it should be a sabotage, tasks done within 20 seconds of activating sabo has a chance to trigger a meeting, except this meeting skips do not count--- maybe a duck skill instead of sabo
Warlock part 2? I'm in
You have to click the bell 100 times to call a meeting
Only a 100?
And somehow, the dodo still gets voted out.
Me frantically clicking the bell with a 15 sec timer cuz a meeting just ended cuz i know who it is but it tied
The guy standing next to me facing sensory overload
I have no idea if this has been suggested or not, but a search option in achievements would be great š
They're looking to revamp the cosmetics and achievements pages
Thank you
Does anyone else wish that in the afterlife we could see dots on the mini-map to indicate all the survivors?
Especially when there are no tasks left, and there is no option to spectate
The only issue, I feel, is keeping track of that many dots. I mean, the tech is there as seen in Clairvoyance and Tracker, but I don't think you'll ever get a live tracker of the dots.
There is no functionality to actively track players on the minimap, to my knowledge. Tracker/Clairvoyance just take a snapshot and then display the info on the map. It could be done, but I agree that it's probably not needed.
I just track living players while dead by spectating.
Having dots detailing players' positions opens the game up to further abuse in public servers (and even private) as all it takes is two players in external communication, one dead, one alive, to tell each other lots of info for an unfair advantage
Can killing animation be skippedļ¼I mean a button,'Goose hunting' When you die, you can press the R key to watch the battle and then quickly click the R key to switch. And then do other things.
It may have little impact on the game, but it is a little uncomfortable that the screen is stuck.
Of course, it's just a personal feelingļ¼I want to know your views
If you died on a task, you can open the task while the animation is going
There have been a few people making comments on the death animations. Is there something about them that you don't like, or just the fact that you're stuck in place while it happens?
I don't have a problem with them now, but when I was young I was extremely disturbed by blood; some of the kill stingers can get gruesome (especially the nexus shuttle death) so I can understand when people make that complaint.
I hear you. Sometimes spectating is not an option
One can dream
How often do you die to the shuttle sabo? I have never seen that happen, like at all
I think make the seat on lounge can be seated and add capacity to 20 players
16 Player game, add more than 16 that can spectate, so lets say it was a 20 player max, only 16 can play.. start the game by yeeting / sacrificing 4 random people. For draft it would yeet 4 random geese, but every player would get to "choose their role" before the yeeting commenced.. Nobody would know which geese were yeeted.
It can happen. I saw one situation where the shuttle had just barely moved and I chose not to fix the sabotage because I thought he'd be fine. Turns out he wasn't fine and flopped over on the shuttle.
Another game, I was the duck and everyone else happened to be on the shuttle. I pressed the button to send them all off and sabotaged the shuttle. Everyone dies, and I win. (sadly, it only counted once on the shuttle-kill achievement)
Bodies are canonically disposed of in the MM lake anyway, so it would be cool if the lake was also a body disposal area (even if Undertaker was not added to MM).
It was already explained why it shouldn't be a disposal area, but I wish the crocodile in ancient sands could work exactly like the basement furnace or river.
I definitely feel like there should be more disposal areas. It's really cool
The alligator was a missed opportunity, tbh. But they have their reasons
The alligator is located where you fetch the water. If you killed there during a fire sabotage, it'd b too easy to hide the body. If the alligator was located somewhere else (like below the hut SE of the supply hut), that might've worked. Plus, they already had the fog to hide bodies in.
the lake or the leaves, except letting any hiding bird find it.. for the hiding bird to find a body in the pond would require a flush.. Or maybe instead of hiding in the pond you hide in the toilet, and flushing pops a dead body out of the pond.
add pelican emoji to the server plz <3
For the lounge map, I think a simple rock paper scissors game could be both fun, and useful (for map votes)
Maybe call it Goose Duck Falcon or something!
Goose beats falcon?
Falcon can't vote back
I believe it's a reference to something.
No idea what.
But yeah, that's the logic behind the idea, goose votes Falcon out, duck kills goose, Falcon kills duck
Add a fake body to be reported to bamboozle the players, whether they be Goose, Duck or a Neutral killing role
What would adding fake bodies do to improve the game? I know a role that can create fake bodies has been suggested a few times, but it should have a purpose.
Kind of nice role concept, let's say u will maybe get blinded or your keys would be switched if u report that fake body, (You are easier target and it takes u some time to get to tasks), but u are able to tell fake and real bodies apart since the fake bodies will always be the color of dead Geese, but thats just a little idea, haha
I like the key bind switching idea
This would be much harder to pull of on mobile, though
i think it be cool to add a mummy type sabo to goosechaple but have it look like jack the ripper
but have it be slower
Ah, but the twist is Duck the Ripper is one of us 16!
I think a total win lose ratio in game could be a nice idea to see how much you've won and lost in total
you can partially check this via the achievements. One achievement will track your total games (up to 5000) and another will track your wins (up to 2500)
where's the banner/card for like winning 75 times as serial killer? I don't think I've seen one. It's such a fun role, though.
Doesn't look like there is one, which is a bit odd.
i dont want to promote violence
Then why do the other killing roles get cards and/or banners? Theyāre also pretty violent.
Good thing I donāt have any of those
Poor serial killer is the stepchild of all the roles. Not loved enough to get a card or banner when they win enough.
That's kinda inconvenient to do each time so this would make it simpler
Oh I got one! A switch button! Thereās a button randomly in a random room and when anyone presses it that person will be swapped with another person randomly. Limits are in the options menu on how many times this can be used.
It's interesting, but does it actually add to the game, or just increase the randomness of a lobby?
It adds to the game. š
How does it add to the game?
Please let lovers get a twitch drop at different times.
The twitch drop was handed out at 5:00 a.m. my time. I sleep at that time, but I want to get costumes too. Maybe duplicate the stream 2 times a day so that all people can fairly get the twitchdrop?
Yeah they should run the twitch campaign again even if they donāt actually do the dev log
Just run a hour and a half stream for yāall who werenāt awake
You can just rebroadcast the recording.
Do they have to do that? Is there a news story about this or a link to this comments?
Right but even if you watch the vid you wonāt get the twitch drop because the campaign for it is over
If they want it to, the rebroadcast can be programmed to have a second campaign.
Yes but thatās only if they want to
Add more reaction roles maybe neutral or something like that
That was suggested before and no one said anything about it. Maybe that's not a thing because it's against the lore
Or some other reason, not sure
THERE CAN ONLY BE 1 NEUTRAL
And that's why two dodos are fighting
Yeah lol
Caw! Caw! Caw!
Itās something different, at least..
You want shiny coins?

I call that color bronze
CAW CAW CAW caw caw CAW!!!
