I always turn birdwatcher on, unless it's on Nexus. It just doesn't work as well there as on other maps. People will learn that some roles work really well on some maps, and some really well on others. Just like some won't work very well on certain maps. There's also roles like the medium, or the technician, or the gravy goose that people don't fully understand how to play and think they are worthless, but in the power of the right player, they can be your most valuable assets. Just because some roles aren't as "fun" as others doesn't make them worthless. Just might be the way people are trying to use them.

Your information is 100% accurate. You know precisely where the sabotage was called. Maybe it was a living Duck, maybe dead, but you know enough to cast aspersions on someone in that area at the time.

Yes and most of the time I do, it turns out to be someone innocent and I get them voted out or killed

On other words, with one sabotage, a dead duck had made the sheriff kill an innocent player, causing two deaths and then the lobby voted the technician out for "lying"

If there's no dead birds and a sabo, the Technician has very good clearance to hard sus someone in that area. Once there is a death, then the role calls for a bit more subtlety

If there's already been a body, I'll try to make note of who was in an area of a sabo but not make a big deal of it, then try to catch them in a sabo again. Sure, it could be a very savvy ghost Duck trying to frame a Goose, but if you always had perfect information there wouldn't be much deducktion to be had!

You always have accurate information though, no need to doubt your power. The sabotage says where it's coming from with 100% accuracy. The role is intentionally designed to become less powerful as the game goes on, otherwise it wouldn't count ghosts in the sabotage.

Let's flip the view, what is the point of technician? To stop ducks from sabotaging in obvious ways, right? How is it currently achieving that?

It does get less powerful, but not powerless. It can be played against. If duck dies early you shouldn't get more power, you're already winning.

If it's a public game, you can use the in-game tools. If it is in a private game, the lobby host is able to kick them, or you are free to remove yourself from any lobbies involving toxic players, and find a new game. If you're having trouble finding good people to play with, I reccomend you to check out various GGD streamers who may have open lobbies to their viewers.

The mobile version is in a good state, it is playable. There were a few changes that had to be made to get it to a place where the team is happy with it. The gaggle team, nor the community would want it before it felt like it was ready. We want it as close to being as perfect as it can be in your hands. I feel like the "last one surviving" part wouldn't work very well, and the "kill your killer" part would be too easy. For the first part, it couldn't be "last one surviving," because I would think a role like this can't kill normally and, therefore, can't be the last one in the vast majority of scenarios. Even if it was more like Lovers or Falcon where they want to be amongst the last 3, it has no way of making this easier like how the other two (technically 3) do. As for the second part, they could just spam e until they get killed and then they would win from instantly killing their killer. Maybe the explosion has an initial 5 second cooldown to prevent this? That could work.

If the killer vents, then that's just counterplay. However, please consider that not all killers can vent. Morphling, Sheriff, Vigilante, and Falcon are all incapable of venting. But if the Chicken has no cooldown on the explosion and they can do it as soon as they are killed, then there's just about no counterplay to it and it would result in a high percentage of Chicken victories.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

If this happened in Discord DM's, I would recommend blocking the individual. If it happens in-game, the lobby host has the ability to kick that person. And if that person is the host, you have the ability to not play in that person's lobby. If you feel those steps aren't sufficient you can DM a moderator with more details.

Why isn't proximity chat allowed in public rooms?

This is something we have considered, but have ultimately decided against. We have taken the stance that if you make a private game, you are responsible for moderating it. The host will have their own rules, and have the responsibility of kicking people who they feel are breaking the rules.
Public lobbies are different in that players don't necessarily know the people in the game they are joining into. Kids might enter a game and can be harassed by others in some corner of the map if proximity chat is on. If someone is being rude or toxic in a meeting, everyone can hear it and can block their mics and block them.

So why don't we just separate servers into kids and 18+? Because a 12 year old can check off a box that says they are 18, and we'd rather prevent the potential abuse and toxicity.

If you want proximity chat, make a private game. If you need players, find a private game in the #lfg channels or make your own.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.
