We initially weren't going to allow voice chat in public games. We limit it to meetings and lobbies where you have access to report toxicity, block mic, etc because at those times you know who is talking. You are also in a group setting. Its to protect the peeps from harassment.

Basically... a professional can't report at all.

Anything other than a goose can see their kill, for example, vulture, dodo, pigeon, and other ducks. They see the body, and have the option to report it or not

Only geese automatically report, the rest see it as a normal body and can report if they wish to

the tip is to detective that person claiming it was a professional kill

it's a pretty good tip for if you make the mistake but usually killing the canadian as anything other than a professional will usually get you voted out or killed by sheriff/vigi anyway haha

To anyone who's worried about being kicked by the system that kicks idle geese: The allotted time you are given is ample, and this is in place to prevent griefing. To those who would say - what if i can't do this task in the ample alotted time? Well, whether you are intending to or not, you are griefing the game if you're a goose who is incapable of doing your tasks. Most of the tasks are fairly intuitive, but you can also go to host a game and check out the corresponding task in explore mode.

Yes, you will absolutely know when an assassin has taken a shot during a meeting. You won't know if the assassin guessed correctly, or misfired though. Yes, they can still kill like normal.

Checkmarks will fill role spots first before going to to question marks.

If you put in more checkmarks than you have the number of slots, they will be randomly decided with equal chance. (e.g. you check off 10 geese, but you have 6 geese slots, all ten roles will have equal chance for the 6 slots)

In brief, the new additions to this game has made it more fun. Can't give a thorough analysis on all the roles together but it's very very fun when you have the right people coming together to have a fun game.

Anytime you get the "activate warp" task, it gives you a random number between 1 and 9. I'm not sure if certain numbers are more likely, but It seems to be a 1/9 chance.

People have a lot of great ideas. But i belive this duck is really op. Might need some adjustments but a bounty hunter duck version is a good idea.

I loved the medical goose idea the most.

But the role got a reply

Have you guys considered a doctor/necromancer/altruist role where a goose can resurrect a corpse?
We have strongly considered the different angles to approach a role like this but ultimately decided against it. In this game of social deduction, dead players end up potentially having perfect information, and letting them back into the game is problematic as they can at least identify their killer. Even in scenarios where they might be silenced or otherwise hampered, the resurrected player will still have the ability to circle or fart over their killer. Trading 1 Goose life for 1 Duck life will tend to break the game, as the Geese outnumber the Ducks. We have since removed the ability for the living and the dead to communicate to allow for the feature of role reveal, and don't plan on moving in that direction again anytime soon.

the only people the assassin cannot assassinate are regular geese and the gravy goose because he's too plump
