Timezones - eg for me it's currently 10pm Weds night, while for Nth America, it's 6am on the East coast...

you could always start a room and put the code in the lfg channels, or see if the two english rooms want to combine numbers into one large.

if not finding lobbies using quickplay, or the lfg channels , many play privately and share codes outside of this official discord with their friends, or use their friends list to create lobbies

Yaknow I always was like.... Why does the Dodo win if hes voted out? Thatd mean his death, doesnt it? After reading the Lore it feels like they said it without saying it. Dodo's dont go with angry mob to throw criminals in fires and drown them. But I have a feeling the deaths are still broadcasted. So when they vote out the Dodo and in there eyes spill the blood of the innocent. As it says in the Lore enough of them is a issue. The reason they win is cause the Dodo's immediately come down and slaughter everyone else that is there in retaliation. Thats my idea atleast.

That's the amazing thing about all the available roles in GGD everyone can have their preferences

The only SD games I have seen with as many roles as GGD are the ones whose gameplay is focused entirely on being a text box.

Not saying those games are bad at all, I I have put an unhealthy amount of time into Town of Salem 1 and Throne of Lies was once my all time favourite game. But having so many roles to play around with while the gameplay also being more than just talking is really nice.

Hello, I was wondering if someone knew how the "luck" in the game works. Like in my 300h played, I saw some pattern, its like we got a seed when launching the game which determine your luck. I play a lot of big sessions and sometime on 7h played in a row, I get impostor/ neutral on 3/4 games. Some others time (another session), its the oposite and I get impostor/neutral 1/20 games. I even exploited this by voting sometime for someone that got a "good seed". Am I crazy ? Cuz its really seems to work that way.
PS: I only play on Draft which can influence this.
PPS: Im playing today and a friend of mine got the "best seed", he was impostor/neutral every game but one in 1h.

Role selection is completely random. The human mind is conditioned to latch onto patterns, what could appear to be a pattern is more than likely your psyche piecing together coincidences and then placing them into a consistent timeline. You may be interpreting it in this way. There are many different roles, but can be classified into categories of goose, neutral, and duck. Say you've noticed that a player has been getting a duck role a couple of games in a row, you've now concluded a pattern in which that player seems to be always getting a duck role, but you may have forgotten that they had a goose role in between, because it does not relate to the pattern you have noticed.

As games can go by pretty quickly, we also have a sense of losing the concept of time. We may also conclude that it has been a coincidence more adamantly, over a period of time, when in reality, it was something that you had noticed being a common factor. Role randomization is in fact, working correctly. Best of luck in your rounds and have fun playing GGD!
