I know I went as far as making an art piece to highlight this a while ago, but goddamn am I the world's most paranoid pelican. I was having the perfect game, everything was going my way including the goose/duck ratio being perfectly balanced so that the geese couldn't vote me out without being overrun by the ducks, whom they had been figuring out one by one.

Anytime the geese were about to take complete control with numbers, I stepped in and fixed it.

Down to the final 5 with 1 duck left. I had the perfect set up, which went like this: they vote out the last known duck, who has been exposed since the start of the game (don't ask how they lived that long in a 16 player lobby), then I eat someone, and that's a victory. Except red didn't vote. Oh no, a wrench in the perfect plan.

The player that caught the last duck round 1 rings bell to try again. I point out that because red didn't vote, they may be pelican. A back up plan incase someone is quick to the bell after the duck is voted. Except oh no, they vote, but for ME this time.

Now the next round begins. But now red is FOLLOWING me. I check the drafted role list and see a sheriff. Oh no, Red must have been the sheriff and I p'd him off. I do what I gotta do to red but oh no, yellow was right there. Fortunately the duck kills before yellow can do anything about it, triggering pelican hunt. I eat yellow to make a point, and hide out the timer to win. I check the summary and find out that red was just a silly little dodo all along.

Update Taskbar is a lobby setting that has always been available. There are 3 options: None, Instant, After Meetings

Default setting is After Meetings. That is a lobby host decision

Ok but almost all lobbies use the instant option so to make it more playable for the most instant killers, fake missions should be counted in that round and then deleted when there is a meeting, as much as the fake missions are done. This is a suggestion.

There is definitely some bug related to the emergency button/bell. Sometimes it can be clicked, sometimes it can't. That's why in the beginning of the round killer's cooldown can expire, and you just can't call the emergency despite you see that the emergency is ready and 1 left, and you will be murdered then.

Do you have your sound turned up in game? Scientist will hear a beeping noise when using their ability if someone is dead. If the noise is faint/quiet then the corpse is far away somewhere and the closer you get to the dead body the louder and faster the beeping sound gets.

Mortician and Spy because roles that are able to figure out other roles tend to be my favourite archetype of roles in any social deduction game (consig was my fav role all around in ToS1). Pelican I already wrote an essay about why I liked it once, so the abridged version is that it's a unique take on a "neutral-killing" role that promotes actual social deduction over just seeing someone walk away from a body.
