There are plenty of public games that play ToT available regularly, check out one of those so you can get a feel of what that game mode is like. Basically, a Vampire or Mummy bites/kills Geese, turning them into Thralls(zombies)

Our team is more proficient with 3d I think at the moment. Also the way rigging and movement/line of sight etc work is easier. We have to pseudo emulate a 3d top down structure in 2d

its a lot more difficult to do what we're doing

also 3d coloring/texturing is less intensive on the memory footprint of the game versus 2d.

2d we need to store the entire sprite and detail each frame for animation. 3d allows a bit more use of solid textures because they have shape/dimension

A sphere in 3d can have a single pixel texture because a sphere has shape and the graphics renderer will use lighting to color it.

So you can see a gradient and shape to it depending on where the light and shadow is.

In 2d we need to draw the shadows and shape entirely on it's on.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

Regarding being ignored, nothing is ignored. Devs read the channel but might not respond to them. As for critisism, we are being honest and letting you know why they might not work for classic mode. That way a new idea may blossom from the old. Even though it didn't work for classic, it could work for a different mode or even be the inspiration behind a different idea that does work.

You get a choice of 3 random roles, out of a pool of roles for that map, excluding normal basic duck but including basic goose.
Once a role is selected, it is no longer available to others.
You will have a chance to be offered both duck and neutral roles until the quota for that game is met , this is dependant on the amount of people.
I can't remember them atm though.
But up to 3 ducks and 3 neutrals in a 16 player game I believe.
If for the above example the first 10 chooses goose roles, the last 6 will be forced to be brutal or duck players as there will always be the set ducks and neutrals for a certain game size

Because those are the places you can most effectively remove a body from the game. Jungle and sands has mist where the only one who can report them is the mimic and basement has the river and furnace where you can permanently remove a body.

Any other map, the best you can do is hide it in a corner.
