Only way to make it more efficient is either make an automated system that detects if you're new, and if you ask "when release" it deletes your message and gives you a dm with the answer. Or hire staff to answer the questions personally. People don't like reading, or searching far and wide when you can just ask someone who might already know

That's exactly it right there Berry ^^ they just wanna pop in and ask. So if you are a regular here you are gonna see if quite a bit now that the game is gaining more recognition out there. Plus even the older ones who aren't here all the time are just popping back in to just ask quickly as well, rather than going back and reading all the announcements.

Most if not all alpha/beta invites are randomly selected. For one thing it's the fairest way to do it and also, nobody has time to scour discord constantly seeing who talks a lot and then send invites based on that. The number of people in any given alpha far outweigh the number of people who actively talk in most discords.

I think what most excites me about this game is how it's gonna be free to play
Not a lot of people take into consideration how many people are left out in favor of rich people I'm glad the barriers are down so that everyone can play
Especially since despite having everything I need I couldn't afford game subscriptions and buying games is a once a year thing when I've saved up the money so the fact that this is free to play is wonderful in my opinion
I wish others took this into consideration rather then just seeing it as some dirty thing to let the peasants in. It's like they want to exclude people (I mean game designers) I'm glad they found a way to make money but still have everyone be able to play freely

I think the main problem people see with free to play is the easier ability to get in game to cause problems .. because they can . But hopefully Palia will have a system set up that will help alleviate those problems. Maybe a use for that fancy machine learning stuff. Maybe they will use it to learn how people play and which ways are damaging to the community and have a way to stop it before it gets bad.

What we know of Palia’s lore is that Humans are an extinct race that is now returning to the world for some unknown reason
that gives humans a sense of importance, I like the idea that all the players and only the players are this important race
You could say “well both humans and elves were extinct” but that just wouldn’t feel as good

and I actually would disagree with the dev's in many many things, within the game's mechanics
