The fact that the actual release is so far away definitely makes me feel a little lost, but I'm glad these team-answer sessions are posted every now and then reminds me that it will come out someday, and I can't wait.

We had pre alpha July-September only 1400 people invited out of 80k+ so most didn't get to play then. Alpha will have more but we don't have the numbers for that yet

Its also good to note it is a community based MMO so it isnt single player like breath of the wild or stardew valley (stardew can be 4 player) so it really opens up being able to play with alot of friends

There has only been 1 pre-alpha so far, and it started 'bout 6 months ago and lasted a few months.

The time between rounds of testing is purely based on how long the team takes to read and absorb the feedback, make any adjustments in the gameplay plan, then program those changes, along with the additions to the programming already planned

I think early access is a good thing for both the developers and the players.
This game looks very unique, and early access will help the game for more people to see it. Also some early income for the developers to make things faster or better. It will only benefit both sides i think ๐

But yeah, some kind of Open Beta, Early Access to test out the game in larger scales seems good to get some feedback or structural data to have a fluid gaming experience after launch.
I'm sure the devs choose the right approach for that, given their overall know-how.

I bet EFGIS and some other languages seem feasible for the game. For Discord it's way easier to moderate if you can understand the things posted.

Yes. As mentioned before, S6 has some quite skilled people there, and language may be a complex topic, but done right more or less trivial in the end.

Also having one language to talk to each other seems bad at first but I've seen a lot of other discords with separated language channels where they're either abandoned, way different topics being discussed and so on.
I'd love to give something back to the game if there would be a program to submit or work on better translations, finding just text errors in different languages and so on.

Thank you. My concern with holidays--well, "concern" is a strong word. My question with holidays is that there will probably not be stuff like "Christmas" per se, but games like this often have a fictional winter holiday that's basically Christmas in all but name, at least in my experience ("Toy Day" or "Feast of the Winter Star" and the like)
While such things wouldn't upset me by any means, and I totally understand their inclusion... I'm Jewish. I'm lucky if I see a token menorah during not-Christmas. Sometimes I wish games were... I dunno. More creative?

Yeah. I think it would depend on the storyline. A year in the game would be much less to us so maybe they have the age groups for a reason so that in 5 years auni becomes a teen Najuma a young adult, the young adults adults etc
with maybe a bunch of new young villagers to make friends with an older ones maybe to say goodbye to โฆ if they have them die of old age or accidents or war

We'll probably be more specific later, but ultimately we need to spend a minute with small and then increasingly larger groups of people to see if we're on the right track, and the game will change a lot in the coming months. We don't want to show everyone a game that that's not representative of the eventual version, but we still need to test to get to that version. Hope that makes sense.
